Is Jad a name you heard in Morocco?
My father said it isn‘t a moroccan name, but it was in the official authorized names list of Morocco so i thought it‘s a moroccan name.
Thanks all.

Is it hard to get motorcycle tires in Marrakesh?
Hi everyone, this might be a trivial question, but I've never been to your country before. I'm in Spain in the moment and will go with the ferry to Morocco soon. I have to change my tires soon and have been wondering if it's difficult to find tires for my bike in Marrakesh. Would like to buy a well known brand like michelin or continental. What do you think?

Troubles getting out if casablanca airport
Hello guys. So my friend is trying to leave Casablanca airport but they keep refusing her leave and say she doesn't habe a visa, even tough she doesn't need one.
The embassy send us a "broker" but I don't know how trustworthy he is.
Does anybody have experience with this and can give us some tips?
At this point we just want her to leave the country asap doesnt matter where to (altough we would prefer it if she doesn't have to go all the way to Manila)
ps.: She has a Passport from the Phillipines.

My parents are pressuring me to become a doctor
I got my bac this year and got into ensa which from what i know, is a fairly good school, and i love it, ive always leaned towards math physics, but my parents cant let go of the idea of me getting into med, they see engineering as a dying field where i will be homeless if i pursue it, and i will suffer, but medecine in their eyes is perfect and i will become a billionaire if i pursue it, idk whats true anymore, sorry if im being dramatic but im just so done, i genuinely dont know, are they right or am i right, will i truly not get a job if i become an engineer, is medecine really that great, we always argue about this, and i also feel like i can never please them, i just feel like a huge failure, i just cant take it anymore, i feel like im whining right now but i hope someone can understand this feeling.

Casa-blanca Libraries
Lkhout, I need your thoughts about:
\- King Abdul-Aziz Al Saoud Foundation for Islamic Studies and Human Sciences, Casablanca
\- Médiathèque de la Fondation de la Mosquée Hassan II ...
I am studying computer science, and I have some heavy preparations in the upcoming months, and I need some calm place to help me study and focus,
I only need Wi-Fi, Electrical Plug
And I am wondering is it okay to stay all the day in the library?
I need your thoughts about those two libraries,
and which one you prefer the most, and why?
Thanks in advance for everyone

Why Do Many People in Morocco Claim to Be Devout Muslims but Don’t Follow Core Islamic Teachings?
Hi everyone,
I recently traveled to Morocco and noticed something I found a bit contradictory. Many people I met seemed to present themselves as devout Muslims. They could recite texts from the Quran by heart, and outwardly, they seemed very religious. But at the same time, I saw behavior that didn’t align with Islamic teachings: skipping prayers, scamming others, or even using drugs.
Of course, I know that no one is perfect, and every religion has people who don’t fully follow its principles. But in Morocco, the contrast felt particularly stark, especially since Islam seems so deeply ingrained in the culture and identity of the country.
I’m curious—how do people reconcile this? Is it a cultural thing? Or is there a different understanding of what it means to be a practicing Muslim in Morocco?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially from Moroccans or those familiar with the country’s culture.
Thanks in advance!
