I need guidance

( 20 year old male) My whole life , the only thing i ever felt a strong passion for was medicine . I had always been a good students so grades were never an issue . That being said, i got my bac with a good grade that allowed me to sit for a handful of «les concours » , but while i was preparing for the med school one, i found out that my parents can’t actually afford to send me to the city where the school is because i basically come from a poor family ( i always knew that but ig i just wanted to deny that fact to hold on to my dream) . So i got into sort of a depressive episode and didn’t sit for any concours that year . So there was that . After a year of trying to come to terms with that fact , i applied to other schools for the next term and got into two schools , including an engineering school in my city that i ended up going to . To my " surprise " i ended up failing my freshman year with a low grade and got kicked out of the school . But after a lot of interviews with the school board ,they finally gave me the chance to retake the year , but now the same thing is happening and i’m for sure going to fail again . I assume because my mind is subconsciously still stuck on the med school dream .

My friends who managed to go to med school have invited me their home for a couple of days so i went . They also took me to the hospital where they intern . and as i was walking through those corridors , my eyes watered and it felt like i was watching what my life should’ve been like , what felt like was rightfully mine , as shallow as i know this sounds .
I asked my friend about the expenses it takes to live here every month and it’s way higher than what my family could ever afford. I also asked if they know any med student who work to fully sustain themselves and study at the same time , the answer was no .
So now i will get kicked out of my school indefinitely, i have no way of following the only passion i have in life , have no idea what to do next since my bac has expired( it expires after two years of graduation) , and have an anxiety and depression diagnoses .

Since my family is financially unfortunate, i am the one who is expected to fully support them financially, and as much as that puts immense pressure on me , i wanna be in a place where i can actually do that but now there doesn’t seem to be any way out of this situation other than unspeakable things i won’t name bcs of the community guidelines.

I need guidance , storytimes of people who went through something similar but reached the other side of the river in a positive sense …

Help.

Morocco: Anybody want to share a private desert trip Marrakesh to Fes?

I know it’s a long shot but might as well try. Just wondering if anyone would like to share a private 4 day / 3 night Merzouga trip starting in Marrakech on 02.04 and ending in Fes 05.04. We would love a small group tour and think we would feel a bit lonely on a tour by ourselves but can’t find anything reliable so thought we might be able to form our own. We have a good tour in mind (https://moroccofabuloustravel.com/marrakech-to-fes-desert-tour-4-days) with "luxury" accommodations but the price is a bit above our budget. We are a nice Aussie couple. Feel free to ask any questions, thank you!

Toxic moroccan Mom - need ur advice

ion live in morocco , my mom visits from time to time, don't get me wrong , i love my mom so much & she's done allat for me ; However , ever since i left morocco i was happy i'd spend my early twenties not having to deal with my mom shenanigans & would go back after a long day working/studying to just chill & not have to deal with no one , am very extroverted but my social battery dies quick lol , she's very toxic & smth so simple could turn into an argument bcs she gets heated off so quick . she usually spends 2 months , which i never minded but the thing is after 2 weeks , she stops being nice & it's turns into almost arguing every single day . life has been hard on her , i get it , she developed extreme anger which recently has affected her physical health & i had to rush to the hospital as soon as she came , i had to pay allot ( ofc bcs she doesn't have an insurence where am at & it's expensive ) .

this has been goin on ever since i was young & now i honestly can't help it but talk back bcs she just keeps on yapping provocative things ( seemingly to hurt me or get a reaction maybe : but am not her husband or friend , am her child , this isn't ok ) she blames her mistake on everyone but herself & now we got into it again bcs of miscommunication & am just rlly mad & can't wait for a month to go by so fast . this is affecting me & am afraid i'd turn to be the exact same person as a parent which am starting to notice even now

feel free to share ur stories or advice .

Is a woman’s money a + ??

Salam. So like recently I was told that a woman if she’s comes from a rich family, if she’s doctor or another high paying job. That makes her highly desirable and high demand for 💍???

I remember my mother told she me suitors would ask her how much she made/ her salary and some people would specifically ask for her because she was a working woman.

This is completely insane to me. Because we live in a society where providing has always been the man’s task and it’s always been expected. So why do they even start the process by asking the woman how much she makes?

Edit: Wlh tsdmt hh ta kifch bnadm tam3 lik f flosk 9bl 7ta ma drtihom. They see the “ potential” and they claim you. I thought only guys had this but apparently girls too wtf.

🚨 Rents in our cities are exploding! 🚨

From 3,500 MAD in the center to 4,000+ for apartments in the far sides of town. Why? Not because we don’t have homes — but because they’re empty.

Thousands of apartments are locked, abandoned, or owned by people living abroad. Some buildings have 5 to 6 EMPTY units. while young people, workers, and families can't find a decent place to live. Housing is not a trophy ... it’s a need.
I believe it’s time for a new law:
“Any apartment left unused for 3+ years must be rented or put to use.”

What do you think guys ?

Moroccan Muslim / Jew - Advice needed

Hey everyone,

I’m currently in a serious relationship with someone very special. She’s a Moroccan Jew, and I’m a Moroccan Muslim. Culturally, we share a lot of similarities but obviously, there are also some differences. Tbh, she’s the first Moroccan Jew I’ve ever really gotten to know, and being with her has opened my eyes in the best way. That said, as things get more serious between us, I’m starting to think ahead and prepare for potential backlash from both sides of our families.

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation. How did you handle the conversations with your families? What challenges did you face? Are there things I should be aware of or sensitive to as we navigate this together?
