🇲🇦 Morocco's Diplomacy Is Shaping History. The 🇬🇧 UK Joins the List, and 2025 Might Be the Final Chapter for the Sahara Dossier

Big development today as the United Kingdom has officially called Morocco’s Autonomy Plan for the Sahara the most credible, viable, and realistic solution. The UK now joins the US and France in backing Morocco’s position, three of them being permanent members of the UN Security Council. Only China and Russia are left, and both remain neutral but not hostile. They don’t support Polisario and have allowed Morocco-friendly resolutions to pass. With US and French support, Morocco is even seen as a top candidate to represent Africa in a future reformed Security Council, without veto but with influence.

What makes the UK’s statement even stronger is that they are putting their money where their mouth is. UK Export Finance now includes Morocco’s southern provinces, meaning nearly £5 billion can be used to support new projects in the Sahara. This is more than words, this is investment, confidence, and recognition in action.

Since 2020, Morocco has moved fast. What used to take us years now happens in months. We are getting closer to having enough African Union support to remove Polisario from the AU. Globally, most countries now support Morocco’s plan or stay neutral, no longer backing Algeria’s outdated narrative.

Meanwhile, Algeria is stuck. The few Sahrawis left in Tindouf from before 1975 are now a tiny minority. The rest? Militarized men with no Moroccan ID or a refugee ID, trained and frustrated. If this conflict closes, Algeria will be left alone with an armed militia on its soil. At a time when Algeria is already facing economic problems, political tension, and terrorist threats across the Sahel, this could become a serious internal security risk. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

The UK Foreign Secretary said it clearly: “This year is a vital window of opportunity to adopt a resolution before we reach 50 years of this conflict in November.”

Morocco is building global alliances, attracting investment, and getting ready for what’s next. We’ve played the long game, and it’s working. 2025 could be the year this issue turns the page finally.

Why is it so hard to network with Moroccans

I realized it's a waste of my time. Especially with Dutch Moroccans.

We have so many talented people and could really bring out the best in our community by enabling job/growth opportunities, creating mentorship programs for personal development. I can keep going but I feel a sense resistance/unwillingness when engaging with them. Maybe I am completely wrong but this is what I feel based on my interactions.

I am lucky that I don't really need the help but still makes me feel sad in a way.

Entrance exam, where? How? deadline?

Yo guys,
27yo , got my BAC nine years ago but this week a member of my family reached out to me: their son is taking BAC exam this week and they're totally lost about the "after". The family is not an educated one and they are not aware of the platforms/websites where entrance exam to post-bac schools are announced.
Given that I left school 9 years ago I totally forgot about the websites I used myself to get these informations, let alone the deadlines etc.. . Could you please give me the websites a BAC candidate should be aware of where all the important informations are displayed concerning this ?

\-Another thing: This guy is autistic so I was wondering if there is any association / foundation to take care of those guys or at least give me a scholarship or any talking session ( Not sure if these things exist in our country )

Choukran guys !!!

Online child sexual exploitation in Morocco? Grooming?

so i was eating my lunch at a restaurant when one of the staff approached me, she was an old woman, anyway she asked my opinion on something, she said she has a 9 years old daughter and she gave her an old phone to play games in because she doesn't let her play outside, and lately they have noticed that she goes in the bathroom and take forever so her sister checked her phone and they found out that she's in some sort of group chat (she mentioned that there were some Khaleejis there) and they send nudes there, the little girl also send her photos there without even covering her face, I was so chocked tbh from this, it's lowkey human trafficking, I told her to go to the police they might help, and i told her that she needs to talk to her daughter and explain to why what she did is wrong and how she was getting advantage of but the mother wasn't very receptive she told me that she's disgusted from her daughter and can't see her the same way and doesn't even want to talk her. I wanted to talk to her more but I had to leave because I was busy, I plan to go to the same restaurant again next week and see if I can find her and talk to her more cuz that didn't sit right with me and I want to help, so if any of you know something useful that I can tell her or just have anything to say please tell me

Moroccan mentality needs to change

Let’s be real guys…some mentalities here are holding us back.

Too much judgment, too much “what will people say,” too much caring about appearances and not enough about real values. People are scared to be different, to follow their passion, to think outside the norm. Everything has to be “acceptable,” “normal,” or else you’re labeled as crazy, lost, or disrespectful.

We need to stop killing creativity, ambition, and individuality. Not everything old is good, and not everything new is bad. It’s okay to evolve.

I’m not saying we should throw away our culture.
I’m saying we need to grow with it.

how do the Moroccan law deal with child molesters?

I don't know if this is a good place to share this. I am not exactly asking for myself (It happened long ago for me to accuse that man of anything) but I want to know if we have any rulings on the matter. Like, how to prove it, or when does it become a crime, or the punishement....Do anyone have an idea? what do our law say on the matter? thank you in advance!

Is it too late bax ndfa3 ll5arij?

I've got my national exams this week and I've heard way more than enough people tell me not to continue studying here, So I'm thinking about studying abroad.

Easier said than done ; I have no clue about which schools and scholarships abroad are even open to register for, whether they already closed or not, and whether my parents are willing to support me through that decision... etc.

I'll be looking more into that later, But for the meantime Im willing to go for some backup first by registering for in-country higher education since I cant exactly predict how well I'm gonna do in the national exams anyway

I just want to know if there's still a chance for me to go for studying abroad, and if so, I would like to know if there are enough options that I can pick from incase Im not exactly fond of the option I'm limited to

Any help would be appreciated and Good luck to my fellow 2BAC students!
