Store bought noodle options
All of the Asian markets in my area only carry other oriental varieties of fresh and frozen noodles, but nothing labeled Ramen. They are all either udon, lo mein, and some others that I don’t remember off the top of my head. How do I go about choosing the best one for Ramen?

Shin Ramen Made in Korea
I only recently learned that the Shin company opened a factory in the US around 2005 and I’ve unknowingly been eating American-made Shin Ramen since. I grew up eating Shin Ramen and my mother and I both noticed a flavor change (for the worse) around that time, we just didn’t know why. I’ve been wondering for years why Shin Ramen isn’t was good as it used to be and now I’m thinking if it’s because of manufacturing differences.
Anyone know a good way to buy the OG Korean-manufactured Shin Ramen for shipping to the US? Many websites don’t list location of manufacture, and the ones that do only sell the American-made version. The handful of places I get Shin Ramen in stores (H-Mart, Safeway, World Market) all sell the US-made version. TIA!

Prince Katsu Hot & Sour
I've become a big fan of the sauce used in the Hello Kitty Hot and Sour Ramen by Prince Katsu. I have been looking for something like it to use in general for other meals, a dipping sauce, etc but I can't find anything. Any suggestions, or even a recipe? Thanks!

ExoticNoods package never arrived, no response from the team :-/
Hey all,
Ordered someone an ExoticNoods clearance crate as a present—it's been three weeks, no sign of the package, I got an order confirmation (with est. delivery \~1 week from time of order) and then no updates since, can't find order status or a tracking number anywhere, multiple help messages to their team have gone unanswered. Has anyone had trouble with this before? Advice on how to contact them?

where to buy Pocket refractometer/brix machine in Tokyo?
Hi /r/ramen,
I'm really hoping I can get some info here. I'm visiting japan again and was hoping to come home with a unique souvenir- a pocket refractometer for measuring soup. I see this on a lot of japanese youtubers and think it would be cool.
Something like the Atago product: https://www.atago.net/en/products-pal-top.php
Problem is I'm not sure if they sell these at even the mega donki. I was thinking perhaps kappabashidori street?
Anyone have one of these, and if so, where did you get it? How much was it?
Thank you!!
