I see many recipes that call for adding a certain amount of fatback to a tonkotsu soup to add additional fat. Can I just add a certain amount of lard to accomplish the same goal?

One of the ingredients I used when preparing shoju tare is dried shiitake mushrooms. They were soaked in a mix of soy sauce and mirin for about 24 hours. I do not want to throw them away, so I'm wondering can I make a topping out of them or can I just eat them in this state as they are after 24 hours of soaking in soy sauce/mirin mix?

Help me out here, aficionados and mad-scientists; I’ve got much buldak ramen (habanero lime) and a variety of miscellaneous things to enhance the ramen. Money is tight and I need to make the most of what I got-
Buldak ramen, much deviled ham spread, pickled eggs, beans (refried and not) can of spinach, can of asparagus, pepperoni, shredded cheese, cream cheese and mayo.
