What to get at an Asian grocery store?
Hello all here in a few weeks I will be dropping off my wife at the airport and will be stopping by an Asian grocery store. I’m planning on stocking up on instant ramen and getting some extra stuff for rice dishes and my homemade ramen. What all do you guys recommend?

Takeout Ramen
Often on the road for work I get takeout ramen and I eat it in my hotel room. Also often, when I am separating the noodles i get whiff of a not pleasant smell. Can anyone help me identify what this is?

What type of bones are these? They’re just labeled “Pork Bone” at 99 Ranch, and Google has gotten me nowhere. They look like femur halves, but wanted to confirm

4 Year Wooden Barrel Aged Shoyu
I went down a Youtube rabbit hole about Kioke Shoyu, the centuries old artisan craft of wooden barrel fermenting soy sauce and just ordered this incredible bottle of Shoyu I am going to use for my ramen. I would love advice on the best way to use it in a Tare to capitalize on the incredibly rich and complex flavors of it. Should I just combine it with the Dashi I am making (shitake, bonito flakes, and kombu)?
