Ramen assassina
Tried this a few times tonight.
First few times I think I didn't use enough oil and added water too early.
I made this with regular boxed pasta numerous times in the past.
I'm also using cheap ramuchen very chicken.
Third time I used some tomato sauce mixed in. Came out pretty ok.

Oral surgery solutions
I just finished round 4 of a 5 part oral surgery.
I’d like to thank the people who suggested adding eggs and plastic cheese (plastic wrapped fake) - as those saved me during the last 6 week venture into non-chewing.
Are there any other ramen suggestions? It’s either liquid (been there on an 8 week excursion, done that, no advice needed) or something very noodle-y for the next 3-5 weeks.

Can anyone recommend a soy-free ramen brand?
I've tried instant ramen before and really liked it, but I also got really sick because I have an allergy. Does anyone know any brands that don't use soy (flour, oil, etc.)?
Also I don't live remotely anywhere near where they would sell fresh ramen, and even then odds are it's in vegetable oil to keep it from drying. They do that with regular pasta quite frequently.
I can order non-parishables off the Internet though.

I have to know why is Skipjack or bonito used in Katsoubushi
All my searches are coming up blank, I am wanting to start making it myself (just because), but I need to know why that fish. And is there a way I can source a fresh water fish and apply the same technique to make it “local”. Help me!
