Any tips on boiling overnight?
The ramen lord Tonkotsu recipe I’m preparing calls for 18 hours of boiling with frequent stirring. If I go to bed around 10 to midnight how long could I reasonably allow it to boil on its on if it’s been boiling already most of the day?

Help with vegetarian ramen
Hello to everyone,
Me and my girlfriend really loves Ramen but she is vegetarian so, when we make ramen at home, and we usually make TanTanmen because is easy and we can easily change toppings.
For Her birthday I would like to make some ramen for Her but non the usual one…do you have some books to read or some recipe for a different vegetarian ramen?
I already tried to search on the Internet but i cant find any recipe that convinces me.

Are those ramen I made "true"? How can I improve on them, or expand my cooking?
I looked up some quick ramen soup recipes online and based on them I made the following "soups" (without the noodles and toppings - I usually add ramen eggs (rolled around for 15 minutes in a bit soy, sake and sugar), some kind of meat, green spring onions and mushrooms)
1. water with a few tbsp. chicken soup powder; soy sauce; ginger; lard, white spring onions
2. water and milk soup with few tbsp miso paste, chicken soup powder, soy sauce, mirin, ginger, garlic powder
I am completely new to making ramen (and even a bit new to cooking) - did I break some unspoken rules about making ramen? Are those considered "bad" or a no go for ramen?
How can I improve on them maybe or go from here?
As a sidenote: My ramen tasted quite good, but I have no comparison whatsoever :)

How should i make an herb broth?
Hi, i already made a bunch of ramens here and there but they were just ingridients put together without following some real tought behind them.
So i want to make a ramen all about pesto since i am from the city of Genoa, i was thanking of a parmesan tare, chestnut flavored noodle (2%salt, 5%chestnut flour,95%high strenght flour,30%water) an basil oil and the broth i wanted ot to be basil garlic and pine nuts: how should i make it? Starting from a very light chicken broth i thik it would still be too chickeny so just a veggie broth with tons of garlic pine nuts and basil? Any thoughts on what vegetabels should i use?
