Ramen Noob Gear
Guys! If I wanted to start making ramen st home - is there any special or specific pots or essential pantry items I should get? Ideally I would make broth, buy noodles (not instant)
thanks!!

Has anyone ever tried making dashi by letting the ingredients steep overnight?
I'm curious because I watched a video of a chef making a fish broth (not exactly dashi), and without further explanation, he mentioned letting the broth steep in the fridge overnight. I wanted to try it with a type of Ara Dashi (with fishbones), but I'm wondering if it might bring out too much bitterness.

Buldak Spicy Chicken Ramen
You guys didn't warn me just how spicy it would be! I actually prefer my habanero honey mustard over the spice level of this ramen sauce! How do you guys handle it? My wife said she watched a video telling her to add milk, but that just sounds gross. Tips are appreciated 🥵

What’s the deal with American cheese in instant ramen?
I got some shrimp cup noodles that I’m super excited to have tonight. I usually add a little bit of seaweed, top it off with an egg (sunny side up made on the pan with butter), and green onions.
I also happen to have Kraft singles which I never really have around. I don’t want to ruin my ramen though. It’s just a cup noodles but I get attached to ramen. Anyway, should I try it? Mix it into the noodles and broth before adding the egg?
