Just got the hoverpack and I am with the side that thinks it should come earlier.
We are told specifically that we should be building more vertically- even with the stackable conveyor belts, but until now when I got the hoverpack it felt like trying to climb uphill when I had a gentle ramp for building horizontally. I even am considering going back to a previous 'base' I have where I tried doing things in a more vertical manner because now it's far more accessible. Maybe limit the distance from power for 'early' hoverpacks, or some alternative, but this feels like how the game was designed to be played if you build in a vertical manner.

Why are mixed products on a single train wagon impossible/ill-advised?
I've seen this mentioned a couple times on the subreddit and have no idea why people say this. Not disagreeing, just trying to understand what's being said.
I run a single train line with one of the wagons handling 10-20 products across the six stations it stops at, with the main station receiving about 10 of those products at about ~1400/min. It was a bit to set up but it runs just fine and I don't believe a single product is being unnecessarily sunk.
Is the common wisdom just that this is unnecessarily hard to set up or is there something I'm missing where mixed products is causing me to lose performance?

My Stupidity Has Left Me Heartbroken!
Just venting...
I spent hours laying down foundations for what I thought would be an amazing build inspired by the Borg Cubes I've seen (it was going to be a massive 1km/1km/1km 3D diamond), and then I started laying out my walls and realized ... nope. Not possible. Diamonds have a singular point at the top and bottom, can't run walls to that using what we've got! I almost wanted to cry, but instead I came here to tell strangers about my complete inability to visualize something beyond "this is gonna be awesome!" before spending hours on something doomed to fail.
