What are yolk slimes?

I have never played slime rancher 2 , but I have seen a lot of people loving yolk slimes, i know that they make a giant egg near a nest and it gives you its plort, but what makes them so special?

Custom Slime 3D Model

Hi! This has probably been done 1000 times but I wanted to make my own. I made a slime model and you can customize the color of the eyes as well as the color of the slime itself, I want to use it in the future to make some custom slimes with fancy shapes. :)

hi! i'm not new to slime rancher but...

hi! i'm not new to slime rancher, in fact i've been playing for about four years or so now. i absolutely love it and i cannot wait until they release slime rancher 2 for the nintendo. but recently i've got back into playing slime rancher, and so far my current layout has been working out for me... until i recently got bored of it. could someone help me figure out a more optimal way to organize my ranch? i currently have the grotto, the overgrowth, the docks, and the lab open for usage. i just opened the lab and started gathering the plorts needed for the drills, apiarys, and the other one i can't remember right now... please help me find something that my adhd brain will actually like and find useful. :'(

hi i’m new to slime rancher, just downloaded last night

any tips?? i don’t really know much at all, for example i really don’t have any slimes caught yet, i did have a bunch of pink slimes but they kept growing up into big ones and escaping the coral. i have high walls and a net. i’m now trying to keep tabbies. i don’t really understand the concept of a chicken coop, or what i should be doing to unlock new places. i’m open to any advice!

Is it normal for boom slimes to launch food/plorts outside of the corrals?

I notice that my boom slimes somehow noclip the food and plots out of the corrals when they explode. Is this normal? Afraid that a plort might get launched into one of the other corrals and cause a tarr infestation as there have been times where the plots got awfully close to other corrals.

Hybrid powers?

Wouldn’t it be dope if, in a possible slime rancher 3 or update to the current games, each slime would be given some sort of power if they don’t have one already and largos would have some sort of mixed power?

Example: Boom slimes, well, boom, and crystal slimes leave a trail of crystals. So what if a boom crystal largo sent out a shockwave of crystals when it exploded or sent crystals flying everywhere? Yes it’d be chaotic and difficult, but having some largos be extremely dangerous as a byproduct of the hybridization could add an extra layer of ranch management. You’d either need to learn to work around the problem or create hybrids that lessen or nullify the risks their powers come with.

Food and plort issue

100% save game?

a couple months back i had a finished save game on slime rancher 1

but something happened and i lost the file

i had fully automated the farm and had finished the extra challenges with viktor and such

Are there any mods that simply allow drones to interface with warp depots?

As stated in the title, all I want is to have drones that can use warp depots, since I use the trader ranch expansions to grow my food and it currently takes 6 trips with max inventory space just to transport 1 silo slot worth of food

Why aren't there Doggo slimes?

They should have an omnivore diet, no favorite food, their behavior should consist of trying to follow the player at all costs, they should yield double plorts if the player feeds them directly. They should also act as a scareslime against Tar Slimes, barking at them.
