Keyboard controls -Help

Does the keyboard and mouse work now as 2025 Slim Rancher 1 ps4 and ps5? can someone confirm?

I copy this from another post---------------------->. I now know how to fix the issue. If you have a wireless mouse, you can buy a USB adapter. This will allow the game to recognize your mouse as a keyboard, which should help it work properly. If anyone tries this, please share if it works for them! Also, use the USB extension thingy if the wireless doesn't work normally.

You can skip the moss blanket door if you have a jet pack with a little parkour

Just fly onto the pillar beside the door, recharge and jump to the lip shown at the top of the image and you can skip the door without a key

Help me feed my carnivore slimes

I've done lots of play-throughs with only veggie and fruit eating largos because chickens are notoriously difficult to raise efficiently. So this time I decided I wanted a challenge. Why even have chickens if it wasn't viable to use them as slime food, right? Plus, I love hunter largos. So now I have four corrals of carnivore slimes (4-6 largos per corral) and oh my god, it is impossible to keep up.

I have a fully upgraded coop for each chicken type except hen hens, and I have a drone putting the hen hens that spawn in the overgrowth in a silo. I use the hen hens when I can't give my slimes their favorite food (which is most of the time) so at least they aren't starving but this is not ideal. Obviously I need more coops but I'm running out of space for them!

My other problem is automating the coops. If I set a drone to put meat from coops into auto-feeders, they'll take out all the chickens before they have a chance to lay eggs, right? So for now I'm doing it all manually. The coops don't produce nearly enough so I spend some time running around the map collecting wild chickens, but even with that I can hardly ever give my carnivores their favorite food.

The largos I have are tabby-sabers, boom-hunters, tangle-hunters, and...saber-hunters. The most difficult slime to feed. I only have four but it's still impossible. How do you guys raise enough chickens for a bunch of carnivore slimes?

Prickle pears in the labyrinth?

On the wiki, it says there are prickle pears in ember valley and the labyrinth. Where? I'd assume the lavadepths but I didn't know they could spawn outside of the valley. If someone could tell me if this is inaccurate, I be sure to update the wiki

Can I take out mods in slime rancher 1

Okay so, me and my mom share the same computer and I'm fine with that, and she installed a bunch of mods and I hate playing with mods, the thing is that her save was made immediately after she installed those mods, and my save was made a long time ago, and I thought about taking those mods from the mods folder out for the time I play, and put them back in when she plays. But won't that corrupt her game?

slime rancher 1 screen freezing randomly

any of you guys know a solution? only the video freezes (it works im just stuck on one frame) like every 10-30 minutes, i have to restart the game every time. does anyone else have this problem?

why is modding not working for slime rancher 2?

ive been trying to mod slime rancher 2 but nothing is working not melon loader, bepinex, nothing is working and i dont know why could an experienced bepinex mod dev look into it because nothing is working and i think it may be because its obfuscated now? all i know is that mods worked in teh past but as of the recent grey labyrinth update nothing is working

Largo theory

When a pure slime becomes a largo, it eventually will go back into the ground and split into both pure slimes. This is why slimes are so eager to eat plorts and risk becoming a tarr.

Decoration and Extractor centred ranch plan

The Docks are for slime plorts that are needed a lot, eventually getting up to 20/20.
The Overgrowth hold the 15s, Honey going up to 18 in the Bee.
The Grotto are the 12s, where the basic slimes end in the extractors and Quantum in the Bee.
The Lab are the 6s, Hunter needing 6 for the Bee.

The Main portion is used for money and is Ancient Ruins and Glass Desert slimes used in the decorations.
Ogden is the Moss Blanket and Wilds decorations.
Mochi is the Indigo Quarry and Nimble Valley decorations.
Finally, Victor is the Dry Reef and Slimeulation decorations.

I go to moss blanket to collect Hunter slimes almost everyday and up to 4 types of largo with Hunter slimes (could do every types but some are mix with tabby) And have too much Hunter slimes plorts... 1000+

SRML issue

Two linked theories

I think the reason slimes don't produce plorts off of the F,F,R is because there's a specific chemical or micro-organism in the air that condenses a plort after a slime produces it, and they don't exist anywhere else so plorts aren't made.

Maybe due to these same chemicals/micro-organisms, 7Zee can't map the FFR, resulting in them not knowing where the Glass Desert and Rainbow Island is, since we know the Glass Desert is on the range due to the the existence of dervish and (likely a subspecies of) tangle slimes and their favourite foods.
