Are there any big overhaul mods?
Idk, I've watched a few videos about recomended mods and all I see are like, 1 added slime at most. I mean, modding is hard, but given the nature of the game i thought ppl even made new areas and shit,

Are yolky slimes more common recently?
I have been playing for about 80 hours before this last update, had 1 yolky slime before this. In the last 3 days, I've played maybe 20 hours (no judgement please lol), and I've gotten 4 additional yolky slimes. Granted, I've been around the map much more than previous, but this feels odd. Anyone have something similar? Thanks!

Ideas for a slime rancher 2 difficulty mod
I've been playing through the second game since the labyrinth update came out and reading the entries for all the slimes in-game, and really felt like each slimes' "Rancher Risks" weren't very impactful in practice. So I wanted to share some ideas I had for a mod I might make, let me know your thoughts.
(BTW, I'm not saying these changes should be in the game. I know that the majority of players enjoy a more relaxed experience.)
In the vanilla game, the Batty slime kind of poses some real risk, as the rancher has to make a choice of increased aggression if placed in the sun, or increased hunger if placed in the shade. This is kind of what I'm aiming for with this potential mod.
Basically, every slime would have its' risks amplified such that they pose an actual strategical/active problem to the rancher corralling them to make the game more engaging. So far, my ideas are:
* Pink: No changes (just for simplicity's sake)
* Cotton: Chance to create a new cotton slime when eating, to force the player to give attention to the corral so that it doesn't overfill.
* Tabby: Can steal items out of the players inventory on contact, to provide a free-range risk to the rancher. (possibly a sound effect to notify the player)
* Phosphor: not sure! feel free to give ideas
* Rock: Rolls much less often when full/satisfied, but more often when hungry. Rolling can damage the walls of the corral. (incentivises not leaving the ranch for too long/getting knocked out)
* Angler: could flashbang/briefly stun the player?
* Batty: Vanilla effect, but when placed in the shade they can become famished, where they will eat once without producing plorts.
* Crystal: Spikes deal much more damage and can appear in a much larger radius outside of corrals.
* Boom: Not sure, maybe explodes and deletes itself if hungry for too long?
* Honey: Free range slimes will bash against the sides of the corral to get to the honey plorts.
* Hunter: Doesn't need too many changes, just a bit to make their feral mode a bit more dangerous.
* Flutter: Doesn't receive a risk increase, the mod makes their buff a lot more useful. Maybe their plort price is slightly reduced to reduce overuse in ranches.
* Ringtail: Torn between giving the item theft mechanic to Tabby slimes or these guys.
* Dervish: Can create tornadoes outside of corral which detaches fruit from trees, plorts from collectors.
* Tangle: Increased radius of the vine grab mechanic
* Not sure about the labyrinth slimes because I haven't seen them yet!
Let me know if you like any ideas, what could be improved, etc. Of course the mod wouldn't be for everyone, its just something I thought personally would be fun to play.

Is the map similar or Is it just me?
I've never played elden ring but my friend saw the slime rancher map and immediately made a comparison. Something about the docks, overgrown area, and rocky area being in similar spots. Thoughts?

Nostalgic Music
Does anyone else get massive nostalgic hits when they listen to slime rancher music. To me it's so beautiful and the peacefulness like brings back memories of when I use to play slime rancher 1 with the music playing in the background (it gave me like the feeling that I was alone in the world with only slimes). So I was just wondering if anyone else gets goosebumps from it because I believe that it's close to if not on par with Minecraft Music.

Is slime rancher 2 worth it?
I played the same day early access originally released and had fun for a day or two until I didn’t know how to unlock the rest of the map and realized there wasn’t really much to do. It’s been a very long time, and I feel the farm grind calling me again. I’m curious if there’s enough content now, or should I just replay 1 again?
