Crashing when trying to boot the game from steam

UPDATE: Resolved!! I figured out the problem, I'm leaving the post up in case anyone else runs into the same issue. Today I tried to start my game on steam, and it isn't working. When I select play game, a small window pops up (see attached image) and remains for a few seconds before the game closes itself and goes back to the steam page. I have tried verifying the files, reinstalling, and completely deleting all of the game files and re-downloading them through steam. I've also checked my graphics driver for updates, and it says it's all up to date. It's only Slime Rancher that is having this problem, other games such as Stardew Valley and Phasmophobia both boot up with no problems. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem? I was enjoying playing the game as a break between studying for finals, but now I can't : (

For additional context, I'm running a Dell g15 laptop with windows 11

Additional note: the game was running just fine two days ago, and other than a steam update I haven't made any changes to steam or my computer

apparently this silo slot has 300+ i took out a couple as a test and yeh it has more than 300 i tried putting them back in but it didnt let me how did this happen?

Largo Combinations

New Rancher, is it more efficient to have largos of different diets? Meat:Veggie combo or others? Or all the same, 2 of the same fruit, or meat, or veggie?

I have a set of tabby:hunter largos who eat all meat, is that better, or should i mix a veggie, or fruit diet slime with a tabby?

Problem with SRML

When i try to run the SRML installer ,this error flashes for some seconds and then closes (My pc is in spanish so sorry)

My girlfriend loves this game and said she saw online that you can put quicksilver slimes on the best slime pedestal but you can't take them out of mochis simulation so she cant figure out how. Is it even possible, if so then how?

What slime is this?

We only play on Switch and don’t have a PC so unfortunately we’re still waiting for SR2 to come out. My son has been counting literally every day down for the past 6 months for the event to come. He cares more about it than actual Christmas. Will it still happen this year for SR1?

Playing to beating Slime Rancher?

Does anyone have a good video/tutorial on how to play and/or beat Slime Rancher because I'm new to this whole thing and right now I'm only ranching with about 30,000 new bucks. I didn't even know that you could buy new places. I just recently learnt about it. So yeah, any help?

Is Slime Rancher 2 way harder or am I just going crazy?

Bought SR2 a few days ago as an early Christmas gift for myself. I'm a very avid lover of SR1 and have played it tons of times. Booted up SR2 and had a blast for a while until I noticed that it felt way more difficult?

Like, even though I have the 2 crop patch upgrades, my food grows way slower than in a upgraded SR1 crop patch. I can barely establish a foothold in SR2 because it feels leagues more difficult than 1. My friend said the same thing as me too :-(

If they made it intentionally harder, an easy difficulty mode that makes it the same as SR1 would be very appreciated. I love SR2, but I am very much struggling here...

Am I just having a placebo effect (or whatever it's called) or did they actually make the game harder?

A few questions, SR2

Max number of Yolky slimes per coop?

Best number of largos per pen? 5 per seems to be working fine right now.

How much did they change largos? I remember either version of a single largo having fav food from both "parents". Example, tabby/rock and rock/tabby shared same fav foods.

Flutter slime, good combo? Currently got pink/phos, cotton/tabby, honey/crystal, with rock/hunter ready and planned

What's up with the Dervish ornament?

So I have almost every slime ornament (except Tabby) on my plort market, and I noticed the Dervish ornament looks different to the rest. All the others appeared to have an echo-esque light inside whereas Dervish doesn't. Am I just reading into this too much?
