SR2 latest update confused me?

I thought this update was meant to be about automation (along with the decorations). I guess not, a dev even confirmed it. I was so excited at the thought of automation with accelerators and fans! If anyone has any ideas how to automate with SR2 please let me know!

Teleporter?

Why is there a teleporter line here? Is it a bug or something? It leads to above powderfall bluffs, in the clouded area. I haven’t played in a while so maybe this isn’t anything new.

Chickens not reproducing?

I currently have a pen of chickens and 2 roostros in a pen at my farm. However, they are not reproducing, even though I have less than 24 in there and have the mochi miles upgrade. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Slime Rancher 2, 5th inventory slot bug.

I had just bought the 5th slot and started using it. i noticed it displayed as empty after having something inside it, both when it had 0 items and when it has 1 item. having only 1 of the item in the slot completely destroys the item (this also causes that item to not be able to be used in other slots without relogging). when shooting out items with the slot with more than one item, it explodes out all the items inside at once (making the 5th slot mostly useless). after relogging it duplicates all the items from all previous explosions.

this glitch makes the game nearly unplayable, because as soon as the 5 slot is filled accidentally, you have to relog if you want to use any item that gets stuck in that slot. :(

 A work in progress down at the docks...

This current save I'm working on is my most recent and most accomplished ranch. I have both mochi's manor, and ogden's retreat. Currently working towards getting viktors quest line completed. Since I have drones doing most of my ranching duties for me I have much less to do, and I have already filled out the slimepedia.

I decided to try my hand at some ranch decorating. I saw what the docks looked like after the upgrade and immediately wanted to line the whole thing with echo lights.

Btw you can mix different echos to get a variety of colors- blue+red= pink, red+yellow= orange, blue+green=teal, green+red= a more lemon shade of yellow opposed to the regular gold echo of a much warmer tone. My favorite though, and perhaps most useful in my case, is red+green+blue=white echo. And they look just perfect down at the docks lining the railing and arches.

Obviously it's a work in progress and I'm not done yet but this is what 21 white echoes looks like. I just really love the look of this so far and I can't wait to get to work on more of it.

How long does it take for NPCs to start sending me messages in sr2?

My newest save is about 20 days old now and i haven't heard from anyone, and when ever i check the messenger out it just says "system offline".
I already got most of the ember valleys largos and all of the ones in starlight strand, and it's verry anoying traveling back and forth without any time for anything else

I got a sudden urge to try the game but don't know which to get, I was looking up reviews but most are from years ago and I imagine the game would be updated, I did also see SR2 having a VR mode which seems cool is that worth it or just a gimmick?

Any mod that makes drones interact with warp depots?

Title. Its not that im lazy but my pc is not very good so when theres a bunch of plorts and foods and stuff it lags really bad, the drones could solve that since while im doing science stuff they clean the mess in the background for me(place plorts in the silo's for me). I know its hard to code, but its not IMPOSSIBLE to make a mod like this right?

Had too many chicks, released chaos.

The chickens breed so hecking fast and I had about 200 chickadoos… didn’t know what to do with them so I released them in the wild just in front the conservatory.

Came back after being in the wild and saw the chaos that unfolded when they all grew up. It was amazing.

10/10 do not regret. It’s like having my own free range chicken farm!

Rock largo tip #3?

One thing I see a lot is people make rock (insert any slime) largos expecally expensive slimes because rocks are pretty easy to deal with fav food easy to grow but if most of your ranch is rock largos you get an over abundance of rock plorts so I'm some cases it ends up selling for dirt
