Slimes vanishing from corrals? (SR2)

I thought at first it was just my imagination, but from each corral, I'm having more and more slimes just vanish. I've got my corrals fully upgrades and I'm keeping them well fed and 100% happy, but they keep disappearing.

For example, I had like 12 rock slimes, they disappeared until I had 4, I went out and caught 9 more, started doing the rounds again caring for my ranch, now I'm down to 4 again. My cotton slimes are vanishing and other types. They aren't angry nor are they even hitting the top of the corral.

Is this a bug?

Modded save file suddenly not loading

I played a modded save for the last four or five days with no issue, exiting the game and loading it back up freely. Suddenly, today, I can no longer load this save.

My girlfriend made a new game, and both games now show this message. There have been no updates to any of the mods or the base game, and I have attempted all basic troubleshooting steps, such as reinstalling, verifying game files, reinstalling SRML, all the mods, uninstalling specific mods that add assets, etc.

I also tested a new game with all the existing mods and I could not recreate the problem, leading me to believe the problem is with new assets added by mods. However, this would not explain why I was able to get in and out of my modded game until the new game was made, unless it is an autosave feature.

I hope somebody has dealt with this issue before, and knows how to fix it, because there is a very small amount of information on how to fix issues with modded files and MP won't touch them with a ten foot pole.

I'm the only one who thinks that SR 1 more fun than SR 2?

It have both but I feel like the first one is way more better, in therms of fun and replayability. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

I like it! I want to like it, at least.

Honestly, i just want to put some of my thoughts about the game, because I've started playing it for probably 10th time and only now I understand why I abandon it every single time.

This game is confusing and hard to enjoy... to say the least. Don't get me wrong, I come back to the game every n-amount of months, it's relaxing, it's cute, etc etc. I enjoy first couple of hours of the game (or both of them) where I get to explore everything. But later parts not so much... I like it! I want to like it, at least. I want to create a nice ranch with a lot of plants and decoration and stuff. But it is so tiring to find all the resources for it, I just don't see myself googling where specific things can be found and then looking for them for an hour just to make one bush or two.
I get that some people actually enjoy this long process! But the game to me looks like something fairly chill, you know? Not a lot of mobs, fairly hard to die, seems like having a good chill time is the main goal of it. But then it turns out it isn't really. I would just really love a game mod with unlimited resources so I could build.
But alas, I think it's this time of the year again where I come back to it for a few hours and just get tired of trying to build something, abandoning it for many months. Again. It's just sad :(

Is there anyway to prevent slime from disappearing in SR2?

so just got the game few days ago and only been in the area you start in and i been noticing a lot of my bunny and kitty slimes are just gone and i do have the walls and net and none of my food was gone from the floor and i have looked around for them


should i try unlocking and moving them to a different area?

Quicksilver slimes SR2

Does anyone else think that quicksilver slimes should have been included in the weather/most recent update? The new lighting resource looks super similar to the lightning you fed them in SR1. And the new thunder would have been the perfect place to reintroduce them.

I made a white echo!

1 green, 1 blue and 1 red in the same spot. The last one you place change the tone (blue for a faint blue glow, red for the red tone etc.)
The gold echo doesn’t work to make one, it’s too bright

I KNOW WE HAVE HONEY SLIMES BUT THIS IS ADORABLE!

Who else thinks it would be awesome for the Flutter Slimes to have another insect buddy? Because I think its adorable. If it were a actuall slime in the game it could totally add to the nectar category rather then just having only Moondew Nectar. :D

Sr2 resource map?

Does anyone have a map of the specific spots in the game various resource deposits spawn? I know, for example, primordy oil only spawns in ember valley, but I'm not good with directions and since not every deposit spawns every time you load an area, I always get lost looking for resources. Having A List of places to check would be really helpful lol

Hunter slime keeps escaping fully upgraded pen

I have a singular hunter slime in a pen with the high walls and roof upgrades and he still randomly escapes and I'll find him wandering the ranch. I have this beach ball toy in the pen too
How do I fix this?

The long wait

While I wait for slime rancher I have been having fun with Lego Fortnite. It’s pretty dope but I do have to say that after experiencing the bugs in Lego Fortnite it’s really cool to see the way the Slime Rancher devs making their product polished before releasing it. Though I am torn as to whether maybe they should release their updates (since it is pre release) without such polish and accelerate the bug squashing process by having us all as real world testers!
