Is the early access for Slime Rancher 2 worth it? Or should I just wait for the full release.

However many years ago I bought the switch version of Slime Rancher. I do a lot better with console games, but I'm not opposed to playing on PC and connecting a controller or just learning the default controls. I fully intend to get the sequel at some point, I guess I'm just curious as to what stage the game is in currently?

I don't mind the wait if necessary, so is it worth playing the game in early access? I haven't seen much of the state it's in or any promotional materials around anywhere, beyond the fact that there's new slimes.

Why does my game crashes when I buy an upgrade?

The game Itself doesn't crash, but at soon as I downloaded SRML, without even putting any mods, the game crashes when I buy an upgrade of anything, be it a curral, a coop or anything.
If unistall the SRML it works, but why does it happens? is there a way to fix the SRML?

Alright, I fixed it (hopefully)

I kept the glitch slimes in unnatural since it’s also partly a human made category. I also didn’t know where to put quantum, since they are based off the concept of quantum mechanics, where a particle is at multiple spots at once until something observes it. I hope to get a lot of ideas from you, cuz I really want to start drawing

Max Puddle Slimes per area? SR2

I'm aware that puddle slimes will only produce in groups of 4 per pool (5 with Duckie).

I'm using the docks area and have every plot set to a pool. I have 4 slimes in every pool including the 2 natural pools and 1 pool with 5 and a ducky. My pool with 5 and a ducky is no longer producing plorts, they do not have the shy blush mark. Is there a limit to how many puddle slimes can be in an area total?

Busy week.

Just wanted to say,
On Wednesday I’m starting a co-op game with my friend,
On Thursday I have a concert, a quiz, and the release of the new update to SR2( I’ll be waking up early to play it w my dad)
On Friday I have Another quiz, and a new episode for a show I like that I’m watching with my mom.

Expanding on u/IJustAteABaguette's data

First off i want to open this up stating this is intended to merely expand on the information provided by their posts, as the information provided is certainly useful. Honestly shy of a few missing controls in a couple comparisons i have to say it was fairly well handled.

However, its also a narrowed scope merely to those data points. Here i'm adding the actual range of values that we may see and the average value based on the game's algorithm - mapped over Baguette's data points to give a picture as to where their data sits. Phosphor and tabby being the focus merely for readability.

Rock plorts would be included here as they share a price range, but their data presents those were regularly being sold, which changes the range significantly, and depend on how many plorts were being sold.

The following chart includes saturation since the plort market does start with some plorts on the market whenever you load a new save, and that impacts price range for the first few days. But numbers suggest there wasn't much for sales occurring for these plorts if at all.

there's more to consider once we actually get into saturation though that can honestly be broken down to not worth it. The following chart presents an average profit difference between the 2, and includes the required RNG multiplier to get waiting to match profits. Assumptions run as follows:
\- constant sales has 2 corrals and 2 gardens, each corral has 12 largos.
\- waiting has 1 corral with 12 largos, 1 garden, 2 silos. also assuming 10 warp depots.

this chart only focuses on 1 type of plort, - from amongst rock tabby or phosphor - merely for simplicty. Given largos this is merely half of the equation. Storage is assumed to be halved the normal calculations as a result, sitting at 4200 instead of 8400, though at 2 silos this is a non issue.

Endgame for SR2

Hey all, so sorry if this has been asked recently, but at what point have I "beaten" SR2? I totally understand it's still in EA, so I just wanna make sure I do all that I can, and don't just fuck around waiting for something that isn't gonna happen.
