Kanji in Gaoranger
Gaoranger has a lot of pop-up kanji in its season: the Gao! shout, their roll call titles, the Hyakujūken slash attack, and some early physical attacks. They don't serve any purpose, and I don't think even Japanese-centric seasons like Kakuranger or Shinkenger had such frequent use of pop-up kanji. In fact, Kaku has a lot of pop-ups written in English.
Was there a reason this style was chosen for Gaoranger, an animal season? As an anniversary season was it inspired by Gorenger?

Which 80s seasons have the most cohesive story?
I've only seen bits of the 80s seasons and want to watch one in full. I know the 80s weren't exactly the best times for tight story arcs across much of TV, but I think I'd stick with a season that has it most.
Flashman and Liveman look appealing. The idea that Flashman has a limited amount of time on Earth, and need to balance getting to know their original home while fighting off invaders from their adopted home system sounds good. Having seen Gaoranger vs Super Sentai and Gokaiger, I know that Liveman is a mostly grim season where the team wants to get their old friends back from the villains but ultimately don't make it. These sound like good master plots with highs and lows that last the whole season.
Any other 80s seasons to recommend?

Behind the Scenes Stuff
Hail & well met fellow Sentai fans.
Can anyone clue me into a good source for behind the scenes stuff for Super Sentai?
Things like reception of each series, viewing figures etc?
I am writing an alt-history which revolves around pop culture and Super Sentai is a cornerstone. The period in question is the Showa period, and I really rely on google translate for translating stuff to English.

Something to be looked forward from the four robots in Zenkaiger's leaks
If you've ever watch Kamen Rider, you probably have heard about Kamen Rider Den - O. With that series' success, one of the most iconic gangs has been created, which is the "Taros" - Momo, Ura, Kin and Ryutaro (and also Deneb, in case you want to count him in).
So with the Zenkaiger's leaks recently, I know there have been lots of mixed reactions, but I'm looking forward to a brighter future.
Think about it, if Zenkaiger actually becomes successful and memorable, like back in Gokaiger, they might also create something iconic. I'm talking about the robot quartet.
If that leak is true, this is something really promising. The robots have already had personalities, now all they need is character development. I can see the potential of them becoming infamous, or even further, the "Taros" of Super Sentai franchise.
So what do you think? What is your speculation for this upcoming series?
