Hate Netflix ad to the gut
And no I don’t have money for premium . Anyone else hate the Brigham cancer center ad on Netflix ? It’s stressful and louder than the shows ever are , it distresses my pets every time and it has been going on for what feels like 3 months 💀 i swear it needs to stop, I’m so annoyed by it at this point, and there is no way that I am aware of of blocking a specific ad like on YouTube on Netflix 😭 please tell me I’m not the only person who hates this one ad? The rest of the ad version is fine, they’re way better than on Disney plus🫣

Need VOIP that supports group SMS/MMS (so, switching from MySudo finally)
I know that SMS is bad for privacy, but due to job constraints, I need to have a way to participate with other team members via group SMS. My VOIP numbers are through MySudo, but they don't have group SMS. Is there an alternative, specifically for iOS (haven't switched to Graphene yet)?

Such a great talk and criminally under viewed. No Google account so thought I would leave a comment / discuss here.
One question about Linux not being a privacy tool. Surely even if you install heaps of spyware Linux is better than Windows or macOS? I found this take interesting and would like to discuss.
Also I think THO should take the money if he needs it. Its easy to say not to, but living is fucking expensive. Like Gabriel said, I hope everyone that said not to immediately sent him $70.

How does one live without a SIM card like THO?
I want to get rid of it, but how do I make calls with people who don’t have online call sites like telegram or WhatsApp(which I know he hates)? I could port my number to call online, but id have to do Google voice or Microsoft’s call thing, which are not private. thanks.

I'm still pretty new to everything tech related, I understand the very basics so far but I am having a hard time determining if the NitroWall NW750 is worth getting.
From what I understand the NW750 does the same job a VPN would do or using Tor on your smartphone.

Problem
Hi folks, new here sorry to bother, i have some questions.
I recently switch from s24Ultra to Pixel9 due to privacy reasons and switched to GrapheneOs, but:
- the battery life of the new phone is ridiculous, lasting maximum 9 h (while the old S24U lasted 2 days)
- lots of important apps (such electronical identity authentification, SPID, and bank apps) are not functioning at all.
QUESTION 1:
I really want to stick with GraphebeOs but those are real concern in real life world, can you guys help me?
QUESTION 2:
does it have actually any sense to stay with Graphene0s with those and other limitations, - if I have to use a SIM Card in it?
- when my S24U is fully degoogle, the settings are privacy enforced, I am using only E2EE FOSS app, and following every other suggestions from Micheal Bazzell, theHatedOne and NaomiBrockweel???)

Privacy Journey outlook?
Started my privacy switch a couple weeks ago and its slow but steady.
My next steps are slowly switch over my email, and focusing on my next phone which will be graphene os.
But saying that, I know no sim is ideal.
But in the EU makes some stuff a bit tricky, no calyx hotspot and the like.
Anyone know of the best privacy respecting way to get service and a number?

Where I live, there is almost no public wifi, and i need to be contactable for personal and work life.

I've been dabbling within the Privacy community here and there for a couple years now, and most of the advice makes sense and is on point, but only focuses on the Software side of things or Policy activism, and while those are fine and sorely needed I always wondered why there is no resistance DIY projects that go beyond installing Graphene or using XMR as currency. Well, here it is, and has a similar philosophy to the THO channel since I didn't see a single paid sponsor (but don't be mad at me if some other videos in the channel actually have one), also that every project segment came with a bit of history about the story of anarchism.
So all in all: fun to watch and with actionable steps to take. 6 Molotovs out of 5 Henry Rollins would recommend.
