Hi all, your friendly mod here, making a first marketplace post in quite the long while.
Long story short, my pride of a creation, my 3TB (now 2TB*) X250 is aging and I need to replace some parts, so I'll start with the battery. May not be buying one immediately, but need to know if these parts are something Redditors are willing to sell and ship in the mail, or meet me locally in Central California (or if we're willing to wait a while, Tokyo) to trade.
Story:
I recently had to change out my DC Power-In part on the motherboard (at first I thought had finally kinked the cord too much, but this appears to not be the case).
Luckily, while that is an easy fix, it has brought a realisation that my batteries themselves aren't getting any younger either, and nearly three years of having this computer (and starting a fourth in March) has convinced me that it's about time to consider getting a replacement for them.
As such, I am looking for genuine Lenovo batteries compatible for the internal and external battery ports on the X250. The models I listed above are the ones in my computer right now, but likely it can be one of a few similar models also being sold for X240, X260, X270 (for the external battery) and it would be just as compatible.
My one primary condition for any battery is that most of its longevity is still there. I prefer 97%+, would love 100% or even over that (there have been a few batteries I have seen over 100% design capacity, which is amazing), and do not want to yet consider batteries under 95% capacity. (I would find it strange if the battery satisfies the before and is over 200 cycles, but I'm willing to hear out the advice of the sage wizards of power maintenance that such people are.)
Budget:
The external battery model is also called a Type 68+ battery, and well, hopefully yours is going to cheaper than the $90 one on Amazon (including shipping) or we will probably be wasting our time.
For the internal battery, I figure somewhere in the $25-30 range is fair, considering in almost all cases where I can, I will be buying it together with the external battery, above ^. For what it's worth, I can't find a valid genuine Lenovo internal battery on Amazon, but the ones I do see are no more than $50.
Time-frame:
I can't say I'm going to be buying this off someone immediately, so please don't feel snubbed if I don't contact you on the offer.
In the meantime, I would like to get to know the market, if only so I might also know what is an approximate price I should aim for when buying one of these. I have to budget this along with the purchase of another 1TB M2.2242 SSD Card, and while these are certainly not cheap, my only hope for that purchase is that technology has progressed, and I have more options now than just the KingSpec one I have.* either an SSD died, a cable came loose, or both

Hello, I am interested in buying a ThinkPad 25 / 25th Anniversary Edition.
I need a more modern computer to interface with the world compared to my FrankenPad T601p, and I've decided to sell my other non-ThinkPad gaming laptop.
I'd prefer it to be as new or close to mint condition as possible. I care quite a lot about scratches or damages to aesthetics of the computer not just the functioning. I also care about the extra packaging that came with it; since the specs are underwhelming, the value of it mainly comes from the "unique" nature of it in my opinion.
I'm looking to spend about around $1,200 USD. While I currently don't have the funds lying around, I'm willing to wait a while to find an appropriate listing or interested seller, which works out well.

Hi,Bought an x395 off eBay in November to try and not get a Macbook Air/Pro M1. ... However, it only has 3\~6 hours of battery life in my usage (though the battery is almost perfect), and even with the touchscreen (which is great to have!) I'd rather have the low fan noise and high battery of the other laptop. Everything else is great (I'm going to miss the keyboard ...). The person who was using it previously kept it in a docking station most of the time, so it's very clean generally. There's a small amount of wear on the trackpad from me, that's about it. Does not come with box (it was shipped to me in a fedex box with a ton of packing material around it, I'll probably just do that also).
This is a 3500U model with touchscreen, 8GB RAM(soldered), 256GB SSD. The 8GB of RAM is split between ram and the vega graphics, so ... be aware! It didn't stop me from doing anything I wanted to do, but just something to be wary of ... I don't want to sell this to someone who doesn't know.

Who doesnt love the look of an old thinkpad. This thing is the very definition of sex appeal, and unlike your girlfriend, doesnt require constant care or maintenance, even if it deserves it. This would be a perfect linux machine (I use Arch BTW) but is also just good for W10 use.
