2. T480s \- This one has tiny but more wear on it and it's really just the bottom lid, the top is clean, the bottom has a few specs of paint that have chipped off at some point. If you want I think I have a clean bottom lid somewhere as long as you don't care about a matching serial. Other than that it's pretty clean, KB is clean of oils and screen has no damage.

4. T540p \- Already regret posting this but don't have any more room. There is some type of residue on the top of the lid, not sure what it is, I've taken a rag and warm water to it a couple of times and it is coming off but takes some elbow grease I'm sure eventually you could get it all off. The pictures look way worse than in person but wanted to make sure it was documented. If it wasn't for that it would be a 9.5/10 there are no other there issues with the lid, no scrapes or scratches anywhere.

**7 Thinkpad Yoga 260**
This project was to see if I can grasp the new generations of ThinkPad and didn't end well because the chiclet keyboard is my limit.
Is an I7 CPU low voltage with 8 Gb ram soldered, uses SATA SSD (not included) very light machine, and has good tablet mode (includes a small pen)
But is not my cup, the machine is sturdy and works well, so I guess It's me...
I tried win10 works well and Kubuntu with some note-taking apps and also the machine performs a little better.
Later the letter key P shows some issues (works randomly) and since the keyboard has that mechanism to retract when is in tablet mode... I decide to not touch it or try anything just because
I'm only comfortable messing with the classic and the early versions of chiclet Thinkpad keyboards.
But my bet is for cleaning since the random keyboard issue is mostly due to fat or dirt blocking the key travel.

**8 Thinkpad T510**
This project is a windows 7 retro gaming machine, I wanted something 15 inches that works well but needs a repasting because under loads the machine restart. ( happens with Doom3).
Configuration is I7 4Gb ram and no SSD - I have the caddy but miss the rubber guides so the SSD was locked with some 3M yellow putting paste (don't judge me....)
In my opinion, this machine has the best keyboard ever... no dead pixels, and runs very well.

**9 Thinkpad x40**
My first X format of Thinkpads, Dothan 1.2 GHz CPU 1.2 GB ram and CF 8 Gb card running several OLD OS.. now Free-Dos
The cover shows some scratches and the back has some nasty corporate labels that make the surface a little sticky (I didn't want to take any chances to damage the back cover by peeling them) this machine was opened 1000's times to try different things and works every time!
The battery still holds and the power brick is included
The screen shows an area a little clearer (cloud) but is barely noticeable.

**10 Thinkpad 560**
This is a working project, the intention is to build a DOS machine for Borland and Xbase (Clipper and Dbase) development (my starting career 35 years ago...) Unfortunately, the keyboard of that machine is not working well and I cannot make it work, My only solution is to find a new one but this is not an easy task only find one from Germany and was waaaayy expensive.
The other option is to buy another 560/x and do some transplants.... but now for me, this is not an option.
Amazingly the HDD is working well and Trackpoint also works... (this is killing me... why does TrackPoint works and keys are not...???)
I have ram expansion (72 Mb if I'm not mistaken)
CPU is the 120 Mhz and 11,3 inches DSTN Display (not the greatest..)
This machine will need a repaste after solving the keyboard issue. Is going to be delivered disassembled with the screws and covers in a small pill container and inside a Ziploc bag.

**11 Thinkpad A21p**
This was the first unit in the collection and was the most difficult. The machine is a Pentium iii 800 running windows 98.
Was the first soldier to die in my hands... I learned about carpets, static electricity, and computers not playing well together... so another A21p was to change the Motherboard and screen.
It turns out the screen had 3 lines at the right corner of dead pixels and one in the center.
I just couldn't justify buying another LCD but the original looks good and is on the items to use as

1 Thinkpad t430 I7 Quad
This project was an upgrade from the original i5 CPU to a quad-core i7-3740-QM. I managed to change the cooler for a better performance one, and also a 170W power brick was required. The battery is original but cannot hold much since the CPU drains all in minutes
I will include the original pieces (CPU and cooler)
Configuration: 8GB ram and 128 GB SSD
I have the dock station but the laptop runs pretty warm and sometimes just reboots, one of the pieces of the dock is blocking the airflow. The body has some cracks that were already when I got it, and since the idea was a desktop replacement I didn't change the main palm cover.

The most fun project for me, after finding the video on the original, was not working stable I decide to buy a second unit (in rough shape) and replace the pieces that fail, it turns out that only needs to reseat some connectors, ends up with having some parts on the wreckage items.
I tried to salvage most of the pieces in case future problems

Pentium II machine to run DOS / and OS/2 (never manage to install..) 192 Mb ram and CF card 8Gb this machine has a CD drive in the bay and includes a battery (not original and holds some power) and power brick, unfortunately, the machine is in a rough state since the rubber cover is showing the age and getting "melted"?
I tried to use some magic eraser to keep the surface clean and avoid peeling with relative success some of the connector covers are attached with rubber so, easy to break and fell... I have them in a bag in case you find a way to re-attach them also, this particular machine misses 3 plastics pins that show the led activity (HDD, power, etc)

**12 Apple Vintage**
The intruder in the family... I bought this one hoping to install Red Hat 8.5 but it was a someday project so, so what I know about the machine.. is an upgraded 2GB ram C2D 2.0 GHz CPU, and a standard SATA disk. **1 Thinkpad t430 I7 Quad**
This project was an upgrade from the original i5 CPU to a quad-core i7-3740-QM. I managed to change the cooler for a better performance one, and also a 170W power brick was required. The battery is original but cannot hold much since the CPU drains all in minutes
I will include the original pieces (CPU and cooler)
Configuration: 8GB ram and 128 GB SSD
I have the dock station but the laptop runs pretty warm and sometimes just reboots, one of the pieces of the dock is blocking the airflow. The body has some cracks that were already when I got it, and since the idea was a desktop replacement I didn't change the main palm cover.

This project was about restoring the unit resolution is 1900x1600 4 GB ram and SSD MSATA 32 GB. I have the caddy but not the cover unfortunately also, this laptop has no power brick but uses a standard 65 watts one also no battery.

Original in all aspects 4Gb upgrade is not the most powerful CPU but I have it because the graphics card is running an 80Gb SSD includes a power brick and the battery is barely used for vintage gaming and runs some old versions of Esri software

**4 Thinkpad t41p**
The most fun project for me, after finding the video on the original, was not working stable I decide to buy a second unit (in rough shape) and replace the pieces that fail, it turns out that only needs to reseat some connectors, ends up with having some parts on the wreckage items.
I tried to salvage most of the pieces in case future problems

**5 Thinkpad x200s**
Standard 1400x900 model very good machine CPU is i5 and 4Gb or ram SSD SATA please notice a crack in the vessel that drives me crazy since pops up in a weird direction.
Other than that the machine is pretty original and runs very well including power brick and battery

**6 Thinkpad 600e**
Pentium II machine to run DOS / and OS/2 (never manage to install..) 192 Mb ram and CF card 8Gb this machine has a CD drive in the bay and includes a battery (not original and holds some power) and power brick, unfortunately, the machine is in a rough state since the rubber cover is showing the age and getting "melted"?
I tried to use some magic eraser to keep the surface clean and avoid peeling with relative success some of the connector covers are attached with rubber so, easy to break and fell... I have them in a bag in case you find a way to re-attach them also, this particular machine misses 3 plastics pins that show the led activity (HDD, power, etc)

I have a good used condition T470 for sale. This had a supervisor password, but I was able to remove it using an EEPROM reader and using Allservice removal method, so it's all clear! There are some minor scuffs here and there, but it's mostly clean. The only real flaw, that I know of, is that the palm rest is missing some plastic tabs that hold the bottom cover secure near the front of the laptop, but this doesn't really affect anything at all, as the screws hold everything in place. These little tabs sometimes break off when removing the bottom cover. In any case, a new palm rest will set you back about $25, so it's not a biggie if you're overly concerned about those cosmetic things.
