Bought this couple of years ago when I was just learning about ThinkPads and have basically never used it. Sad. Seems like a great computer. Should have passed it to somebody much earlier. Anyway, would make great Christmas present to yourself or someone else. I haven't used it at all in a good while, and even when I first got it, didn't use it much; but when I powered it on today, aside from the low battery, computer ran fine. Be happy to do video call with you on it if that would be useful.

Here's a 51nb Thinkpad x2100 from Jacky. Bought it last year and used it as a daily driver for about a year until I needed a larger screen, now I'm using maxed-out T530. Issues: The only issue with the computer is that a certain area along the very edge of the right side palm rest creaks when you put direct pressure on it. I've taken a video of this to show exactly what I mean (see at the end of timestamp pics). It has done this since the first few weeks of ownership but it has not bothered me enough to get it fixed. You can definitely have this fixed on-site with the warranty the computer has left until 1/9/25. The computer has no other known issues.

USA-IL H IBM PS/1 2155-G54 "Consultant" Setup W Local Cash (Chicago), PayPal
I'm aware this isn't a ThinkPad, but it's a vintage IBM product and vintage IBM products are always welcome here.
Up for sale is a full IBM PS/1 2155-G54 "Consultant" setup near Chicago.
This has a 25 MHz 486SX CPU, 4 MB of RAM, a 170 MB HDD, and a 3.5" and 5.75" floppy disk.
The system itself works great. It boots to Windows 3.1. I don't have the original PS/2 mouse, only some off-brand one, but it does come with the proper buckling spring IBM Model M2 keyboard for the system. The CMOS battery has been replaced and the system has been fully stripped, cleaned, and dusted. In terms of ISA cards it has a Creative Technology sound card, two networking cards (AT&T and Communications Canada), and a game card.
Unfortunately, the CRT suffers from partial vertical collapse as pictured. I will include a modified VGA cable with Pin 9 removed so you can use it with another VGA-capable display if desired. I will also include the original 2390 dot matrix printer, which prints faintly using the test print button but likely needs new ink and possibly a calibration.
Cosmetically, the system is in good shape. The system itself is in good condition with minimal yellowing and has been internally and externally cleaned. The keyboard has no yellowing and works perfectly. The clips that hold on the front cosmetic bezel are missing so it does not attach properly. The internal case release latch was modified, replacing the brittle plastic with flexible steel for better reliability. The printer has a yellowed case and is somewhat dirty, and the CRT is a bit dirty but not yellowed.
Obviously, this is a vintage item and as such should go to someone who has knowledge relating to these systems. I am selling this system as-is due to its age.
I am near Chicago and would prefer to sell locally due to the size and weight of the setup, however, I am willing to ship if desired. I am looking for $170 local cash for the entire setup (System, CRT, Keyboard, Printer), however, I am looking to sell this quickly as I do not have the room and familial patience for it and thus will accept reasonable offers. I am not looking to part it out unless shipping, in which case I can keep the CRT.

FOR SALE $625 +$25 shipping in Continental USA with PayPal friends and family, Cash Local pickup (Boca Raton Area). I have sold one other ThinkPad on here before, 2020 (T480).
This unit was custom built WITHOUT a discrete GPU. NO dGPU. The first P1 Gen 2 I ordered (and still own) has a T2000 in it and interfered with my eGPU with full size graphics card and I could not stand it anymore after 6 months so I bought this. This unit works infinitely better with an eGPU and no internal discrete graphics card. Selling because I really don't need a laptop anymore and built myself a desktop and am syncing the original P1 Gen 2 I purchased with the discrete card.
I purchased the unit in December 2020 directly from Lenovo. I am the original owner. It will ship in original OEM box with power supply. It rarely left the house and was used about 99% of the time with a Thunderbolt docking station with external keyboard mouse and eGPU. So the keyboard, screen, TrackPoint and touchpad are mint. Especially the touchpad, never use it, original 1990's TrackPoint guy here.
Also, I undervolted the chip to keep it running cool and quiet. Used ThrottleStop. Yes you can undervolt a P1 Gen 2, last model that allows it! Rarely above 70 degrees C.
Premier On Site for about another year (12/08/2023), accidental damage expires on Dec 8th, if purchased before then we can work something out and I can add it on if you want it.

USA-NH H P17 Gen1 Xeon 10855, RTX Quadro 5000 W PayPal
ThinkPad P17, 64GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 4K IPS screen. Has served me well over the last year or so. I have replaced it with a smaller laptop.

To give a good indicator of how much of a workhorse this is, I have attached photos of the P17 set up as I used it most of the time. Hooked to (4) external Dell 1440P monitors + the 4K internal display open. It was normally on a IETS 500 fan at a low constant RPM which maintained temps in the 30's when idle and all displays active. Without the IETS cooler it will idle at about 42 with all displays attached. You can see the image of TPFanControl showing this.
The laptop has been well cared for and often cleaned. It is in very good shape, no flaws aside from some sparkles beginning to show in lid like all ThinkPads do after cleaning over time.
