Oh man, this one has quite the story. I actually posted over at /r/Thinkpad asking for advice. Originally paid Jacky from 51nb for an X2100 with 10th gen back in Jan 2022, then he disappeared. I emailed him about once or twice a month asking for updates but he responded like 3-4 times total, apologizing for the lack of updates and asking for my shipping address, then disappearing again.
And in August this year this he goes, "oh sorry I'm out of 10th gens, you want this 8th gen? " At this point I was so fed up I said sure.
I originally planned to use it as my main laptop beause I assumed he'd ship within like a month, but it never happened so I got another laptop. So yeah, fun experience dealing with Jacky.

Selling my mint, nearly fully specced ThinkPad T30. This computer is in fantastic condition with only the very lightest wear. It runs perfectly and has an original battery that still holds a good charge! See the photos, it has sat at 67% for the last few weeks since I charged it, the battery works great. This computer has a 60GB HDD and 1gb ram it also has one of the best processors for this machine the 2.2ghz Pentium 4 and the Radeon GPU. It is a great for vintage gaming. Easily handles halo, quake 3, unreal tournament, etc. This is a deeply loved, well cared for, and excellent example of one of the best vintage ThinkPad laptops you can get. I will not accept anything less than $140 shipped.

The laptop does charge and operate just fine using the remaining USB-C port, but the downside is obviously not having a spare port available. Based on this, I'm adjusting the price accordingly. Please see the photos for a close-up view.

The unit currently has a Liquid Metal thermal solution so it stays nice and cool. Current fan is the Nidaec and I would suggest you switch out for the Delta or Sunon version. Minor cosmetic damage at the IO Ports and where the lid(camera) meets the bottom(trackpad). Battery is about %70 Health, get about 4-5 hours mixed use.
