I've owned this unit since about 2014. It has mainly been used as a desktop replacement since then. It's not a light machine, so I didn't carry it often. I transitioned careers to programming with this unit and have done a lot of typing on it. It does get quite warm at times, I did a bit of gaming on it over the years (world of tanks + guild wars 2) and it performs well otherwise. I suggest repasting if you plan to use it.

USA-NY H Thinkpad t30 - incomplete W Paypal
Up for sale is a T30 in unknown condition, for parts. It came to me picked clean, and I couldn't justify buying a compatible keyboard just to see if it still worked.
Missing: keyboard, optical drive, HDD and caddy/cover, wifi bay cover, RAM bay cover.

Without a keyboard, I have not been able to see if it powers on. The battery light does turn on if I plug it in. Also, every other laptop that was sold to me in the same lot as this one does work.
It came to me without RAM. I put in a working 512mb stick of RAM in it, though.
