Machine used to have the 3K IPS display but it unfortunately broke and so I had to swap the original FHD TN display in. Color sensor is still there should you ever want to buy a 3K panel for it, and I have the 40-pin LCD cable if you want that too.
Overall, this machine is in excellent condition for its age and shows minor marks and wear just from being 10 years old. It runs very cool for a W540 as I've used PTM7950 on the GPU and CPU to keep them from thermal throttling under load. Worked great! I have also swapped the original trackpad for a glass Synaptics 3-button one.

Hello, hoping to make my first trade.
I've got an X201 with Coreboot that has a custom splash screen I made. I think it looks pretty cool honestly. This is my first time using Coreboot.
Specs:
i5 M 420 at 2.54 GHz
4 GB of DDR3. I was going to upgrade it, but the X201 (or Coreboot) is extremely picky about RAM. I had 3 RAM sticks that all were 1.5 V and PC3-10600. I get a long continuous beep with non-factory RAM and all the indicators flashing (battery = yellow). I have no idea what to buy to fix that. So, just a disclaimer if you're going to upgrade it. This is the factory RAM model.
256 GB SSD
OEM 92 Wh battery with about 68 Wh left in it.
It's pasted and dusted so save yourself the trouble. It still runs fairly hot. The back is kind of scratched up from me trying to remove the stickers. And the BIOS chip model is included there if you plan on flashing internally. The payload is SeaBIOS and I will provide the configuration for it upon sale.
edit: it also has an Atheros AR5B22 dual-band WiFi card in it. Works in Trisquel.

This T420i laptop is in good overall shape. It's been used, but only has one crack on the bezel and some wear on the trackpad. Otherwise it functions properly; no damage to the screen and has some battery life left. All of the tested ports have decent retention and work.

A nice workstation for folks who tend to travel a lot.
Dual battery: internal is 78.9% of the capacity, external is 45.2%.
FullHD screen, no dead pixels or pressure marks/noticeable bleeding. There are some specks of dust that I failed to remove out of fear to damage the screen (see photos). You can also notice a few minor scuffs on the corners.

The large battery hold 80% charge, the small battery holds 40%..
Issues: The screen has some snow when set in graphics mode, external video does not have issues, I think that the port has contact issues. I have added a video to the imgur so that you can see. The charging port requires sometimes a bit of tweaking to make it charge, problem seen in this particular model. Some cosmetic damage to the paint as seen in the pictures.
