question about avistaz, how do other people can see our activity?
Hello, yesterday i suddenly received thousands of bonus points from other user. When i checked their account, on their welcome page they said they love to give bonus points for users who work hard to maintain ratio..... My question is how do people can see my activity? My ratio is bad 0.03 right now so i'm really grateful for their generosity but i'm curious how they found my account

What’s your "endgame" tracker that you haven't reached yet?
For me, the goal is basically RED, ATH, BTN, and PTP.
I really want to get into RED, but the interview queue is just brutal. I don't have the time to sit in IRC all day hoping to get picked, so that’s on hold for now. Currently planning to take the long route via MAM for the others, even though I know it’s gonna be a grind to rank up.
What about you guys? What’s the one tracker you’re still trying to get into?

How deep does this rabbit hole go?
I started torrenting almost a week ago. Initially I began wanting a way to just download to watch movies and TV shows that aren't available on the public ones.
Within that time, I've managed to convince myself to buy a seedbox in order to get better ratios in the private trackers I were in, learn how to use qBittorrent, set up a personal media server using Jellyfin, get into TL, get into MAM, buy a VPN just for torrenting, buy an external HDD (stupidly I bought only 1TB) and all I want is more.
I've grown so attached to it now. I want to get into the big PTs like PTP, BTN and RED so I can quench my taste and the need to be a bigger seeder. I've begun to get really "niche" demands which wasn't my initial intent.
I even set up my own program so I don't need to worry about the port rotation issue with my VPN. Things have gotten out of hand. Getting a lot of upload, seeding for a long time and finding niche(r) torrents is similar to a challenge for me now.
How deep does this huge rabbit hole actually go?
What have I not experienced yet? I want to know about all of your experiences and hopefully to reassure myself I'm not the only one like this.

Trackers advice for someone starting out
Hey everyone, I’ve been using only 1 PT (myanonmouse) for a few months now since I decided to ditch streaming services and self host. Normally for TV shows and movies I use public indexers since I have *arr stack setup with my NAS. But once in a while I can’t find a show. Usually it’s kids shows surprinsgly. Like Super why, spidey amazing friends, Ricky zoom, and some Latin American telenovelas. So I started looking into other PT’s for tv shows and movies. I think that for now I’m going to try and join torrentleech by waiting for them to open signups. Hopefully soon lol
What other trackers would you guys recommend? Most of the stuff I am able to find has 0 seeders sadly :/

IP blocked from RED interview - how should I handle this before my third attempt?
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to access RED interview IRC channel for the third time. I didn’t pass the first two attempts, but the feedback was positive, and they told me I could try again. The interviews ended on a pleasant note, so I’m eager to give it another shot.
However, it seems my IP address has been blocked all of the sudden while I was waiting 72 hours before trying again. I didn’t do anything malicious or anything at all really, and now I can’t access the interview page from my usual network. I get told that I'm banned when I try to access the IRC channel.
I’m not looking to bypass their system, just want to handle this properly.
For those who’ve experienced something similar:
Do RED IP blocks usually expire on their own?
Is restarting my router or waiting for a new IP reasonable?
Is contacting RED support the best approach? (How do I even do this?)
Any other legitimate steps I should take to avoid making the block worse?
Any advice from people who’ve been through this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Is it possible to download/seed from a seedbox and nas at the same time?
I’m going to be buying a nas and was also considering a relatively moderate/cheaper tier seedbox to help build buffer and was wondering if there is anything wrong with using autobrr on my seedbox and nas at the same time. No clue if PT’s have restrictions on things like this. I’m on TL and FL

Does anything like TorrentsRMine still exist?
I am looking for a daytime TV or soap tracker as I'm trying to collect and preserve as many movies and TV shows as humanly possible through my NAS setup. I heard about TorrentsRMine but it seems to no longer exist. Is there anything like it out there currently?

Is bib even worth it atp?
I mean there are websites like anna's archive that have probably the same quality as bib and has more e-books. Also not to mention BiB is literally impossible to get in atm.

NAS vs a few cheap PC servers
Currently I have a number of cheap PCs in which I have large hdd drives fitted with instance of bittorrent client on each PC. I have been running this setup for a number of years. Every time I had some funds to spend, I would buy an extra cheap PC and fit a large HDD in it.
Each PC only cost me $50 and I’m able to seed and use Plex to watch all of the content in those PCs from a single Plex server.
I’m keen to know whether a NAS would be worth it at this stage. Would it be cheaper to move all the HDDs to the NAS compared to spending electricity on each of those PCs over the longer run? What would be other benefits of NASes given I’m currently seeding and consuming content just fine?
Edit: there are recommendations on using JBOD. If I use that, wouldn’t I need to combine all my torrents into a single torrent client? I’ll be worried my client will crash with seeding tens of thousands of torrents

Trackers for Argentine tv shows?
Are there any? I've been communing with the ghost of the ELMS website via archive.org (I made my donation, have you?), and I've noticed some really interesting shows from Argentina. English subs would be preferable but, given the subject material, not strictly necessary...

Is it fair to say ATH has surpassed BLU at this point?
There’s been a recurring debate here over the past year about BLU vs ATH, and I think it’s worth revisiting it now with everything that’s happened recently.
What really shifted my view is PTP recruiting from ATH. That certainly was not expected!
A lot of users (myself included) still feel uneasy about BLU’s current management, especially after many long-standing staff and community figures left. To be clear, this isn’t about BLU lacking content (it obviously doesn’t), but more about long-term trust and whether it still feels like a place worth committing to on daily basis.
On the other hand, ATH is consistent. Staff responsiveness, stability, usability, and overall trajectory. It may not beat BLU outright in raw catalog depth yet, but when you factor in momentum and external trust, I think it’s reasonable to say that ATH has surpassed BLU in the areas that actually determine a tracker’s future.
Curious how others see it now, especially people who’ve been around long enough to remember BLU before the staff changes.

MAM “Unrecognised passkey” with seedbox (qBittorrent)
Getting an **“Unrecognised passkey”** error on MAM and can’t figure out why.
**Setup:**
* Download .torrent from MAM while logged in
* Upload to qBittorrent on a remote box
* Anonymous mode **OFF**
* `ufw` inactive
* Double NAT / no port forwarding (I know this shouldn’t affect passkeys)
**Behavior:**
* Error appears immediately on announce
* Other trackers work fine on the same client
**Question:**
Does MAM care if the torrent is downloaded from one location and announced from another, or is there a known qBittorrent/passkey gotcha I’m missing?
Any help is welcome!
Thanks

Advice on long term path to cabal trackers
Hey everyone,
I started uploading on RED with the goal of eventually joining higher tier trackers, mainly PTP, BTN and KG, since I mostly watch obscure and older stuff.
So far I managed to get into a few mid tier trackers, and I’ve put real effort into RED. I have over 300 uploads, but I’m still very far from the required total upload amount in GB. Racing is extremely hard for me, and my ratio has been hovering around 0.80 for a while.
Because of this, I can’t even get my ratio high enough to qualify for MTV, which already feels discouraging. My RED account will hit 2 years this year, so I’ll technically meet the time requirement for cabal applications, but I’m nowhere near the other requirements.
At this point I’m not sure what the smartest move is
Should I keep grinding RED even if racing isn’t working for me
Is there a better strategy for someone focused on obscure content
Or should I shift focus to other trackers and build from there instead?

Tracker for full discs?
Is there a solid tracker out there dedicated to proper full disc rips that has a sizable boost in the number of discs? As in, discs are their entire focus rather than being a thing they allow like a lot of the top trackers?

Trackers for Music Videos?
Are there any trackers that specialize in music videos?
I'm not talking about concert footage (although I don't care if that's available too) I'm talking about classic, MTV-style music videos for both new and older music.
I'd like to start a collection for my Plex server but would like to get higher quality versions than I can get DL'ing from YouTube.

MyAnonaMouse Interview Issue
I'm not sure where else to go for answers. Waited in the queue, got into an interview and before it got very far I needed to provide my IP address. I did and then the interviewer said that IP is already being used by someone. I don't have a static IP so how is that possible?
Just looking for insight as this is pretty frustrating.

Sumo tracker
Looking for a tracker that gets full grand sumo tournaments coverage.
- All makuuchi bouts for each day, not just highlights.
- English commentary (I think NHK World does these?).
- Released quickly after the last bout ends, within 12h max.
- Each basho day covered, no skips.
Any tracker that fits these requirements? Thanks in advance.

Recommend me a good TV tracker
Been a member of TL for almost a decade now and it's satisfied 99% of my needs. Only thing I'm really having trouble obtaining is a few more niche TV content. Mainly some early-2000s cable reality TV type content.
Recently joined OldToonsWorld and have really enjoyed some old 90s/00s untouched VHS rips of TV with TV Station bumpers and ads intact. I know it's probably a long shot but if there's another tracker with something similar I'd love top know about it.
Got an invite to TV-Vault off a friend of mine and while it has some obscure content it's nothing that really satisfied my needs.

Do you grab Hybrid HDR 2160p Remuxes?
Hybrid in this context is referring when a remuxer may have a UHD Bluray with only HDR10, and injects DV or HDR10+ from a web source into the remux. As many UHD Blurays don't include them, especially earlier ones. Licensing bullshit etc.
Do you trust these?
Not sure how to think on them, currently PTP does not allow them. Other trackers do but requiring proof it matches. Other trackers seem to not care at all.
I basically have gotten into trusting newer ones from groups like CiNEPHiLES since they post proof the layers match. There seem to be a lot of older ones from the 3L and FraMeSToR that seem shaky not sure on.

levels. If you are a perfectionist who only cares about the best quality encode, use https://releases.moe/ to find the torrent on NYAA. If you just want to watch anime and don't care about quality, just grab the most seeded torrent. If you want ridiculously small mini-encodes, NYAA is actually the only place you'll find those because they don't pass AB and BBTs quality standards.
AB and BBT are both good, but I just can't think of a reason why anyone would need to use them unless they were REALLY into the community.
VERDICT: Not Worth It
PATH TO TIER ONE: NBL → ANT → OPS → GGN → AB
PATH TO GREAT EXPERIENCE: NYAA
# Music:
Tier 1: RED
Tier 2: OPS
RED is the only music torrent tracker I would reccommend. It has a vast library, an active community, easy bounty system, and regular freeleech events to counteract its fairly unforgiving ratio rules.
OPS is a great, well designed tracker, but it just cannot compete with the size of RED's library. If you mostly listen to Top 40 or other fairly mainstream genres and releases, this is less of an issue. I, on the other hand, constantly run into albums I cannot find on OPS and rarely run into the same issue on RED.
A major caveat* to this whole discussion is that we live in a world where you can use Deemix to download FLAC quality audio of Deezers library of over 120 million songs. I feel like that has to be the better option to any music tracker for 99% of people. But if we're just comparing trackers to other trackers, RED is clearly the best available.
VERDICT: Worth It*
PATH TO TIER ONE: NBL → ANT → OPS → RED
PATH TO GREAT EXPERIENCE: Use Deemix instead
# Books:
Tier 1: BIB
Tier 3: MAM
BIB is notoriously difficult to get into. MAM is notoriously easy. Both sites have loads of books. BIB's ratio management is difficult due to its smaller community. MAM's ratio management is trivial.
In a lot of ways, MAM is the better tracker. Its just stupid simple to operate. But for people who genuinely care about building a library of eBooks, BIB is in a class of its own when it comes to ensuring only the highest quality ebooks make it onto the site.
eBooks are one of the most annoying things to download from a consistency standpoint. If you're in that 1% of people who are focused on building an organized library of ebooks, BIB's quality control makes it an incredible asset. But for everybody else, MAM is just a simpler option that provides 95% of the same value.
VERDICT: Not Worth It
PATH TO TIER ONE: NBL → ANT → OPS → RED → BTN → BIB
PATH TO GREAT EXPERIENCE: MAM
