what is the best general tracker in matter of retention ?
i dont care about the language of the tracker , but i want to know what is the best general tracker that i might find old and new contents there with fairly good or moderate speeds.

NWCD has closed
>It is with much sadness that we announce the closure of NWCD. Significant personal challenges faced by our staff team have left us unable to devote the time, energy and passion required for the tracker to function and thrive. This resulted in an undue burden on those of us that remained. This, and in light of understandable declining activity levels ultimately led to the decision to slowly wind things down and give notice that we were closing our doors. Regretfully, due to a very sudden loss, this plan could not be executed and some swift choices had to be made. Apologies for any worry this has caused over the last few days. All data has been securely dealt with and there is no cause for concern for our users.

what are processor/ram requirements for heavy seeding (thousands of torrents 24/7), thin light notebook recommendations.
used to have an atx build, don't have room anymore, want a simple dedicated ultrabook thin/light that can handle it (with some external hdds) and use on sites that reward that kind of seeding (don't want to seedbox, don't need fancy sites), without breaking the bank/getting too hot/crashing from being on all the time.
any recommendations appreciated.

How to use advanced search features on IPTorrents?
For example I can seach for *265* to get both x265, h265, with dot in-between etc
But I can't search *720*265*
I want to also add resolution, or a second parameter, but it breaks.

My RED interview experience
I just conducted my interview with RED for the second time.
The first time it ended early because I looked at my notes and they found out.
The second time (today) I studied their interview preparation site precisely and took the interview. After the first block of questions someone else (not my interviewer) stepped in asking me whether I was cheating which I declined after having learned my lesson last interview. Then he permanently banned me from further interviews with RED.
I checked my answers with the preparation site and apparently I got every answer right. I know it's hard for the staff to detect if someone is cheating and just copying and pasting from their site or Wikipedia but banning me for actually having studied feels wrong. Was I supposed to answer some questions wrong or what else should I have done?
Does someone have a similar experience with interviews for RED or any other site?

Transmission making MAM announce monitor go crazy on me
I've been trying to narrow this down for quite a while now. I have transmission running in a docker container. And MAM every month or two bans me for (as I understand it) suddenly re-announcing too much. I understand the main thing that would cause this is either the box, or transmission, or the docker container, restarting. I'm not sure if connection hiccups would cause this or not.
The intermittent nature is a real pain. And my docker logs never seem to go back far enough. So far I haven't been able to figure out why or how to address that. Any of you guys have advice about this overall issue or my specific attempt to troubleshoot it?

Is there any trackers or website who has the same concept of IPTV, like IPTorrents has?
Paying 10 USD to watch all channels in the world is great. And it's the only reason I'm still using their shitty ass website.
Is there anything like this? I don't like supporting these shady people anymore.
Edit: As mentioned by the people who have commented: alieexpress resellers (often give you a trial period)

Anyone still prefer to manually download from trackers because you think the tracker deserves a visit for each download?
I've tried Jackett/Sonarr/Radarr and they're awesome tools (no hate, seriously!), but each time I do, I end up coming back to simply visiting the site and downloading directly from the torrents page. I genuinely think it's worth my visit each time to open up the tracker's page, and maybe stick around for a comment or two. I frequently find more content than I was looking for had I automated the process completely. I do use autodl-irssi for a few TV shows I follow that release in the hours I'm away from the computer, but I much prefer the personal visit to trackers. I've automated downloading to the point where it's not a pain to add the torrent to the client but still allows me to go the tracker directly (a simple HTML/PHP form on my seedbox that accepts a torrent download url and places the downloaded torrent in either a TV or movies "watch" directory).
Anyone else end up finding they prefer this too?

Tracker specifically for audiobooks
I know BIB has number of audiobooks but they aren't snatched my many and some of the audiobook torrents are not snatched at all. So, I was looking for a specific tracker which is similar to BIB but only deals with audiobooks.

Do not use REDacted Tracker
For anyone reading this, don't bother with REDacted interview process. I waited for 6-8 hours two days in a row in the queue to get an interview and when I do they say I'm cheating just because I studied the material for the interview.. as they recommended. Another strategy would be to act like you don't know what you're talking about i guess. Anyway, now I'm locked out of the apparent best music sharing community permanently because I read the material and have a good memory.
Time badly spent. Going to try out Orpheus i think.

How do you create torrents on the command line (linux)

What are good sources to use for a private tracker site?
Just from an educational side of interest. What is a good source of website code to use for a private tracker website? Also out of curiosity I saw that FL is running ocelot, does that mean FL is a modded version of Gazelle? If not what source code are they using? Not on FL, but asking out of interest in coding maybe a site meself.

Peers shows that they have 100% of the file while I didn’t seed it all?
I uploaded a torrent and only seeded 0.4 of it, considering i am the only fella with complete files, yet it shows that there are others who are seeding and completed the 100% of the torrent in the peers list. How? They might be cross seeding but I doubt it.

What is considered a 'good' ratio?
what is a 'good ratio' anyway? considering im seeding upwards of 20TB and have been for years and am barely keeping a 1.00 ratio and having to use bonus points or fl tokens to do so.
Its rare that my upload speed is being used and when it is, it is only briefly for new popular torrents.
scrolling through my ratio of torrents only a handful are actually over 1. only 45 are out of 1300
