**PART 4 - RATINGS**
All of season 1 has been released and unfortunately... it didn't get good reception. For starters, [IGN called it "mid"](https://www.reddit.com/r/TrashTaste/comments/1b59qyb/nlatt_enough_of_the_negativity_what_did_nlatt_do/). Meanwhile, [Mother's Basement gave a near 50-minute autopsy](https://www.reddit.com/r/TrashTaste/comments/1b6smo1/nlatt_a_preview_of_whats_to_come/) for the series. Unfortunately, [Penguinz0 didn't like the adaptation at all](https://www.reddit.com/r/TrashTaste/comments/1b7b3sf/nlatt_charlie_has_spoken/).
It doesn't help when the [writers of the show admitted that they didn't listen to a single episode of the podcast.](https://www.reddit.com/r/TrashTaste/comments/1b6zv91/nlatt_how_are_we_feeling_about_this/) Hence why [Chris isn't affable in season 1.](https://www.reddit.com/user/Cutiejea/upvoted/)
On the bright side, NLATT season recieved numerous [Emmy Award nominations](https://www.reddit.com/r/TrashTaste/comments/1b6qvmd/nlatt_well_deserved_especially_since_episode_5/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). **PART 5: Season 2 - The Dark Timeline**
It was speculated that The Dark Timeline will be covered in season 2. However, there has been several issues when it comes to its production. I will censor major events as much as I can. So far....

[NLATT] Trash Taste Netflix Live Action Masterpost
I saw someone asking for a giant compilation of all the "news" and "updates" for this Netflix adaptation of this YouTuber podcast. So to help everyone who are just tuning in, here is what you need to know about the Trast Taste Netflix series (with links).

Why is Trash Taste so continually baffled by Gundam?
Every single time Gundam comes up they just make the same statements. “There’s so many series”, “Wow it sure is a big franchise”, “There’s too many and I don’t know where to start!”. If this was just a one time thing I would’ve brushed it off, but they keep doing it. Hell, a tweet blew up roasting them about this a bit ago. The vast majority of shows in the franchise are completely standalone. It’s like Final Fantasy. Why they don’t make the same “jokes” or statements about that franchise but this one, is beside me though.
If you want to actually get into it, just actually watch it. Start with the new one, the Witch from Mercury. Or Gundam SEED, it just got a new movie in theaters in Japan. SEED is even legally free on YouTube right now!
Connor said the same things in his new video with Kaho as they opened Gunpla. Either it’s that he’s just been continually baffled by the franchise, and has not looked it up, not heard any of the responses/blowback to them about this. Or the other option, he has no actual interest in Gundam, and is just trying to fill in dead air so there wouldn’t be a blank pause. If it’s that, literally just tell the audience that you aren’t interested in it. That’s okay! But don’t try to continually spread misleading info that makes it seem like it’s harder to get into then it actually is (which it’s not).
