Lore Question: Why does Earl have a bunch of Tannis's underwear?
I've been playing through the older games again to get hyped for 4, and just met Tannis just casually says "Crazy earl now has [the vault key\] along with a great number of my unmentionables."
I'm wondering if this is a piece of lore that's known and I've simply forgotten in the time since I first played.

Anointed are the worst thing to happen to borderlands 3.
As much as I hate ava and the twins for just being poorly written and bad characters, the anointed actually ruin this games end-game combat. Between them spamming their stupid fucking immunity shield and calling down bullshit pillars of elemental damage that fuck your ass before you can escape their aoe damage they just make it annoying to fight any group where anointed are present. I know there's a mod to disable anointed from spawning but the fact they dont appear in any other DLC for bl3 just shows how awful they are to fight at end-game.
I play M5-M6 with my siren using a slightly modified stat spread on the hellzerker from Mentlemars.com. I'm open to any advice or recommendations so anointed aren't a total headache to deal with.
TLDR: anointed fucking blow dick, please give me recommendations for how to make them better to deal with. Thank you for reading my rant.

Knowing which enemies drop loot
Using a different gun, throwing a grenade, even the color of their shield; it's always fun knowing they're going to drop something. Especially in early parts of the game when you're strapped for cash.

Shows some new 1st and 3rd person footage from Rafa (finally) and his action skills, with some narration by him, and groovy background music (identified as "Sandungeo Duro" from the album "Salsa Rap"). His last line seems to me like humor is dialed in about right.
I know some people have been getting a bit jittery because the character videos have all been about Vex - now we've moved on to Rafa - at this rate, we should get Amon and Harlowe by November.
And, of course, there's the chance that Rafa comes out in the next one and says "I'm crazy - for ~~David S. Pumpkins~~ Vex!", and then she takes over again.

Headcanon - enemies knowing where you are
It always bothered me about enemies in Borderlands games instantly knowing where you are when you shoot. For creatures, it makes sense as they have greater sensory abilities than people. But if I just sniped the head off a bandit from cover some distance away, how come they instantly start spraying bullets precisely at me and running in my exact direction?
The answer is obvious - they have the same heads up display I do, complete with mini map and red dots showing enemies.
Also, it's a video game. But let's ignore that.

I'm worried about the Loot in Borderlands 4
Borderlands 3 is the first in the series I feel like you can play as a normal human being and still have fun.
I've never understood this "Legendaries don't feel like Legendaries anymore" stuff that people say about Borderlands 3. I cannot fathom being upset that legendaries drop so often in endgame. You have spent how many hours beating the game and making a build? 40+? You deserve good loot.
And still, STILL, it takes hours of farming to get the gear you want for a general good build such as 3-shot FL4K.
And people want it to take longer? Fuck me guys, I dunno about y'all, but that sounds like misery.
And then the Borderlands 4 PR has said that the legendary loot will be scaled back from 3's drop rate, due to demand. Who the fuck is demanding this? People that can play video games for 4 hours a day? So the rest of the world just gets shafted again?

What are some of the most fun off-meta builds you've made?
For me, it would have to be my non-splash Moze Vladof build. It goes deep into Big Surplus, infinite ammo and fire rate to melt all content in the game. A fun process of trying out different things and gradually building up her damage to really satisfying levels. Super Shredifier normally runs through mags fast but not on this build but this can go through entire takedowns without reloading.
I had another Amara build that used a Flesh Melter artifact and Dragon class mod to make a melee/Phaseslam build of similar power. Dragon used to be such a meme but Expedite works really nice with it and being able to take Remnant without going down the blue tree is huge.
What are some of your off-meta builds that have ended up being really good and fun?
