Unique map designs of previous titles is what made the games great
Bigger isn't always better. In previous games like bl2 and bl3 , every zone had its own charm and uniqueness. From the music, to the environment designs, the colors, the enemies. With this new open world system, everything feels the same, and the game has no character. No music even. I severely hope that with the new DLCs that drop in the next year or 2, gearbox cooks up some unique zones with banger music. That is all.

I hate how much everything pushes you around
Its one of the most frustrating part of the game.
The black holes, enemy splash and melee damage, most bosses attacks… it just feels like most of the time I’m fighting against the knockback more than the enemies. Everything feels like it sends you 500 meters away. Adding random knowback and displacement on every enemy attack doesnt make the game difficult, just frustrating to play…

Ordonite Processor events are not fun
You cant see the canisters, the worst grappling hook in gaming won't grab them 90% of the time and they arent spawning often enough. All for 200 eridium..

They've done it again...
I am so sad... another DLC that has little content. I finished the single quest and killed the Boss on max level in under 45min. The mechanics used are just recycled yet again, nothing new was added besides the boss moveset itself.
The enemies are the same psychos yet again. There wasnt even any radiochatter with the characters during the dungeon crawl.
Sure there is some guns to farm if you like that kind of stuff but repeating the same boring boss fight 100x to maybe get the right roll... its not for me.
The cosmetics from the new vault card are neat at least.
So tl;dr: 12€ for 45-90min of content, a single boss, a vault card for cosmetics and a few guns to farm.
I feel exactly as cheated as Ive felt with the wonderlands DLCs...

How do I endgame?
So a friend of mine and I picked up BL3 during a steam sale and went through the Campaign with FLAK and Moze. We are now at Level 72 doing DLCs and as the gamers that we are we set the difficulty to Mayham 10 to get the best kind of loot and went our merry way.
What we immediatly found out is that guns don't seem to do anything anymore. We got a couple of our favourite weapons at Mayham 10 already but they basically tickle compared to just pressing our class skill and letting random passive effects do the work for us that seem to scale according to enemy difficulty.
My Rakks deal about 4 - 6m damage per hit while the M10 gun I am using tickles for around 250k per critical hit. Their Iron Bear mode allows them to shoot missiles for 46m a piece while they barely use their weapons which were specialised to dealing AoE explosive damage.
Is this intended? We honestly thought there was gunplay but right now we just cruise through everything without much opposition just spamming skills.
What kind of challenge was there supposed to be "in the endgame" of Borderlands 3? Is it just Damage Sponges or do we lack crucial information?
I do not believe that talents are much of a discussion point here, seeing that most buff effects are in the low 10 to 40%s of damage where we lack what seems to be 10 - 100x of it on our guns and have ample of it on our skills.
We obviously lack 4 years of community discussion, metagaming and experience but something just feels off.
Any recommendations about "what does the game want us to do?".
I do not look for "use this spec, fetch these items" but a general "this is how the game mechanics are supposed to interact and make you stronger".

The Pre Sequel Deserves More Love
The game is so enjoyable yet forgotten. I've been playing as the doppelganger and honestly it was the most fun I've ever had playing a borderlands game. The gameplay is much more fluid than bl2 with the addition of low gravity, also the side quests are hilarious, not to mention the claptrap dlc, which is the best dlc in the series along with tina's.
I have 2 problems with the game, first the loot system kinda killed the joy of farming since most legendaries are world drops, ofc in favor of the grinder which was not really fun to farm.
My second problem is the lack of additional content as, additional content and support for the game was canceled since 2k Australia shut down the year after the game's release.
So there's nothing more to do when you hit max level and finish the game, then you just go back to bl2 lol.
What's the reason bltps is forgotten in your opinion?

Driving controls
I know this has been asked before because I found a couple of threads from 5-6 years ago, but they've updated the settings menu in the game and this 'vehicle relative' setting everyone says to change no longer exists (or I just didn't see it?)
I find it really difficult and unatural to steer the vehicle with a mouse, especially in reverse! In they keyboard settings it's set for WASD but they don't do anything when it comes to steering. If I could get past this one hurdle it would make things so much better for the gaming experience I'm having (and it's been great so far).

Sturm and Drang
Any tips for fighting these guys? I can take the big guy down, but after he goes down I can barely see the screen with the amount of guys on screen.
Edit: Thanks everyone! Ricochet really helped, but if you are not observant like me, and fight these dudes 30 plus times, you’ll eventually realize when the crystals break off they make smaller versions of the bosses. What I did was focused on big guy first, but as I broke each piece or 2 off, I focused on his little minions, then went back for another piece or 2, rinse and repeat. Then if i was accidentally breaking the other bosses crystals off too unintentionally (before I was ready to focus on him) I’d take his little minions too. It’s slow and steady, but much better than damaging all the crystals and flooding the room with minions.
