For how long do you think vinyl will be popular? (like it is now, or more).
I loved buying records in the 90s; by the mid 00s it had become difficult to find new stuff being pressed. I love seeing the revival and all the records that are now available. But how long will it last? Please comment if you have further thoughts.

Classical Music: Vinyl or Hi Rez?
I've been enjoying a few Analogue Productions re releases of Living Stereo and other Various Classical Music pressings. New records aren't the issue, pristine copies aren't the issue. I'm finding if the noise floor isn't nearly silent I can't see the benefit of vinyl over Hi Rez. I'm wondering if I had a more advanced system if I'd gain more tolerance for a bit of noise because the Vinyl recording offers more in other areas, such as dynamics. Are there those that can point to the high end benefits of vinyl that outweigh pops ticks and other noise that would encourage me to listen to less than pristine pressings of my favorite classical music recorded in halls? Large room studio recordings are a bit different. Thanks.

Taking records on an airplane
Hi,
I'm visiting my family im the us and bought some cool records to take back home to europe.
My fear is the records will break even though I wraped them in bubblewrap, so I want to take them as carryon, but my dad said they might not let me.
Does anyone have any experience with this? What should I do, my heart will break if the records don't make it hime with me.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows something about the 1985 Woodstock mfsl 5lp set? I can trade for a mint copy. The reviews online seem mixed, but it is a cool collector's item, especially because it is mint. Cool story also, I guess MFSL's license ended while this was issued or something, so unsold copies of this release got put in landfills \(hence the picture\). Only the remaining copies exist and are super rare. I could trade my beloved Mofi copy of Please Please Me, which sounds revelatory along with some other stuff. Would that be worth it? Give me some two cents.

A family member has 300 records and wants to sell. Where to go next?
This is about as much info as I have. I have offered to take an inventory and go from there. Considering likelihood the majority will be worth very little, but there might be some gems in there, what would be the best next step regarding selling? They are not interested in using any online sellers - preferably a bundle sale and possibly some individual sales or anything of higher value. Wouldn’t want them to get swindled. I have no idea what is in the collection as I have just been sent the above info (as a novice record collector myself) to see if I can help. Any advice?
