First hand knowledge of dutch interferences to Middle East
Not sure if this is common knowledge but as I am trying to better understand how power dynamics are shaped, thought I would share something…
Used to be a teen, spending time in Hague with kids whose parents worked for NATO, EUROPOL, EPO, Int. Court of Justice and Organizations and Embassies. One kid particularly that joined us near 2012/13 (?) (Dutch) while we were chilling lets say lol - my dad was working with the embassy in egypt, but in reality he was there for intelligence on the uprising - initiation, steering, to where and how it will end up to be - something along these lines. It has been a while but I remember him getting uncomfortable as I asked some more questions out of curiosity let’s say and never really chilled with the dude after lol..
Similarly, want to mention the current DG for opcw seems a bit like a puppet that came after üzümcü whose end of term saw massive shifts in the demographics of inspectors in Technical Secretariat, somehow more of US, UK nationals…. which subsequently followed leaks about the Douma interference (check wikileaks)..
Would be great to learn and share others experiences similarly and maybe thoughts and patterns you might have picked up on?
