What' wrong with playing alone?
I have been seeing too much post about playing alone as it is somehow wierd or bad thing to do. My question here is do you all have someone or some group to play with? Because as far as i saw lone playeres think everyone is playing with group and they are wierd ones. I have been playing wow alone since legion and never felt anything wrong about it.

Why do people in retail seem to be more forgiving with people choosing off meta specs compared to cataclysm classic?
Hey everyone!
So, this post is basically a direct follow up to a post I made about why people were like this in classic Wotlk as well. I made that post back in November, so if you didn't get a chance to see it, here it is:

I mentioned in the post that I enjoyed playing destruction warlock in Wotlk, and people were having tons of toxic blowback that I played this spec. I mentioned that I much preferred its playstyle compared to affliction, and also mentioned that I was still able to make the spec work to do very decent damage, even though it was on average 10-15% behind compared to affliction. I mentioned how infuriating I found it that people were being toxic for players who chose to play what they enjoy, even if they were doing decent damage with it. You get flamed for not being the most optimal/minmax in 15 year old content, which is genuinely INFURIATING.
Lots of the people who commented on that post I linked above said it's because classic has an extremely toxic player base, which makes complete sense based on my experience with it. There were also a good amount of people who commented and said the reason was because the gaps between specs in Wotlk were much larger compared to retail. I am not going to argue with that, it makes complete sense. Part of my frustration with it is that the balancing was still MUCH better compared to classic vanilla, so I found it annoying that people were still being strict on spec choice. But admittedly, the balancing still wasn't very good.
Well, Wotlk has transitioned to cataclysm about a month or so ago, and I have decided to give it a try. The balancing is VERY good now, almost retail level balancing. Here are some stats for 95th percentile T11 cata raids over the past few raids:

We see how much better the balancing is. Especially for warlocks the difference between specs is EXTREMELY close. I am still playing my warlock, and should be good to play whichever spec I want to play right? NOPE. OH MY FUCKING GOD, the community is still being EXTREMELY anal about spec choice, even with warlock balancing that is of retail level at this point!! Once again, I prefer to play destruction and enjoy it very much, and to this point, have been declined by MULTIPLE guilds for wanting to play it. Someone, please sit down and explain to me like I am 5 years old what the problem is at this point with playing whatever warlock spec, because I genuinely do NOT understand what the problem is. I am not looking at hardcore guilds either, just semi-casual/semi-HC/casual.
I genuinely can't stand this shit anymore. The only reason I have been playing classic since 2019 was because I had such fond nostalgia of original TBC and Wotlk from 2008-2010. It was peak gaming for me, which is why I played classic despite its absolutely HORRIBLE community. Once again, when I want to play destruction in cata classic, I get shit like:
"No one wants to take a meme spec warlock"
"Good luck trying to find a raid spot as destruction"
"We will never run a destruction warlock in our raid roster"
HOW THE FLYING FUCK IS IT A MEME SPEC WITH THIS LEVEL OF BALANCING?????????????????????????????
Here is the most insane thing. Even with the frustrations that I faced in Wotlk that I mentioned in the linked post from November, I still had a relatively easy time finding like-minded players who would still take me along as whatever spec as long as I did decent damage. With cataclysm, it has been basically IMPOSSIBLE to find a raid group as a destruction warlock, even though the balancing is so much better. Who has the coolest LOOKING tier set for the new Xpac?
In your opinion, which class is getting the coolest looking tier set? I sometimes start a class based off of how cool their armor looks, and I’ve gotta say the Paladin set is looking pretty cool, and I suck so bad at paladin.

Come back for TWW. It’s just a game. You asked, so you genuinely have some interest in the game, which is enough to come back.
And you’re coming back. So you already know it’s a good game. You quit because you simply got tired. But now you’re curious because you’re no longer tired of the grind. You took the time off you needed to recharge, and yes, you are now ready to go for WoW, and it just so happens that the expansion is TWW.

base gets even more toxic and sweaty. It's an inverse relationship that makes ZERO SENSE WHATSOEVER. The wotlk player base was really bad already, but there were still some genuine people. Since it's fondly remembered to be the best expansion by many, it still drew in some wholesome people. The cata player base is by FAR the worst of any classic iteration.
The only thing I can think of is that cata is considered to be one of the worst expansions in WoW history. I even admit that I don't enjoy it very much, and Wotlk and TBC were much better and had much more charm to it. So because of this, if you have a rerelease of cataclysm, I am guessing that it is going to draw in the absolute worst of the worst. In addition, there are lots of dumb content creators who made tier lists before cataclysm classic launch, and put destro in "C" tier on tier lists/YouTube videos because they have no idea what they're talking about. Of course, the classic audience still keeps this FALSE information to heart even with raw statistical data being available.
I also had trouble finding a guild because I was on vacation the week of cataclysm launch and didn't no life the expansion week one like everyone else. And I had multiple people flaming me for not being max level with good gear just a week after launch. It's genuinely ridiculous.
To be clear, I play 25 man, where all raid buffs are covered without issue. Thanks for reading, and any insight much appreciated!

I think bear Druid should have an inhale ability.
Basically the opposite of typhoon. For gathering up mobbs in a frontal cone. I’ve never played bear once in my life just an idea that popped into my head today lol. Or have it like Evokers fire breath to where the longer you hold it the further the inhale will pull. We need more abilities like that in the game.
