I Leveled From 10-70 in 29 Minutes
Hey folks, I recently finished a 10-70 Speedrun in only 29 Minutes and 25 Seconds. While the run was done in Remix (obviously), I utilized a few brand new strategies outside of the standard Heroic Dungeon spamming with Level 20 Twinks. Raid XP Scaling
I'm very surprised nobody has realized this yet, but something is VERY broken with experience from mob kills in MoP Remix raids. As it stands, the more people you invite to your raid group, the less experience you get from killing mobs. This decrease is exponential; just going from 2 -> 3 players causes you to lose almost 50% of the mob kill XP.
In order to avoid getting penalized by this bug, I completed most of my raids with only ~1-3 boosters helping me out. In some cases, such as Terrace of Endless Springs, the kill XP from bosses is so low at a base level that there's no downside to stacking more people. However, some raids have extremely efficient sources of mob kill XP, which brings me to the next major point...
Heart of Fear 4th Boss
Wing Lord Mel'jarak is the 4th boss of Heart of Fear, and he spawns alongside 9 different adds. For some reason each of these adds provides you with a ton of experience upon death, and they'll all respawn after you reset the boss. Generally speaking, a single Heart of Fear reset gives you 2 full levels, and the entire process is extremely fast. Killing the mobs and using Vanish to reset takes roughly 8-10 seconds, and you'll need to wait 30 more seconds for Mel'jarak to reappear.
HoF 4th Boss resets are currently the most efficient way to level BY FAR from 35-60. After Level 60 the experience is still good, but it doesn't scale quite as well. You'll generally want to skip these levels with Heroic Dungeon tokens anyways, so it doesn't really matter. The process of killing the adds and resetting the boss is also really simple and doesn't require a highly geared Level 70. This method will outpace Heroic dungeon spam if you plan on boosting your own characters from 35-60.
During the Midsummer Fire Festival, you can also use the pole in Vale of Eternal Blossoms to gain an additional 10% mob kill XP from HoF resets.
Breaking Out of Pandaria
While this wasn't used within the run itself, part of the preparation beforehand required escaping Pandaria to obtain a few important items, specifically Guild Banners for additional XP. The trick itself is fairly easy to replicate and can be done entirely with normal in-game mechanics, however, it can be used to access some relatively sketchy stuff. It's possible to reach Dragonflight and interact with the work order system, which allows you to apply Dragonflight enchants to remix characters. I have also heard rumors of players trading between Remix and Retail characters in order to smuggle out Legendary gems. Although I can't confirm this works, it greatly worries me and I hope Blizzard is able to address it.
That being said, I feel that accessing the guild vendor, buying heirlooms, or disabling experience is fairly tame, and I hope Blizzard will add normal ways to do this within the Pandaria Shrines. Shaman Rework Hype Thread
The shaman rework is up for tomorrow (probably), what do you think/hope the changes will be?
My personal top 5:
1. New Glyph of Elemental Mote: Fire Elementals can now be even smaller!
2. Primordial Wave now replaces Lightning Bolt for all specializations;
3. Lava Burst is now triggered by Primal Strike;
4. Feral Lunge is now baseline and triggers Astral Shift, to compensate for this change, the cooldown has been increased to 5 minutes;
5. Nature's Swiftness has been redesigned. Now reads: Your next healing or damaging spell will summon a treant that speeds to your aid, causing your abilities to summon fireflies for the next 15 seconds. 2 Minute Cooldown. (get it? FIREflies!?)

God damn you Blizzard for making me fall back in love with WoW again
Of course this is a very tongue and cheek title, but man with WoW classic hardcore, Season of Discovery, and now MoP Remix it has all reignited my passion for WoW.
Like I usually comeback every year for a month or two, but the game hasn't really stuck for me in a long time. Have been playing it almost daily now since SoD came out.
I look forward to playing it again every day and am hyped for an expac again for the first time since probably Legion. Good job Blizzard, the current WoW dev team is reminding me why I fell in love with Blizzard in the first place keep it up.

“Finished” Remix
I leveled one of each class to level cap, took two characters to gear cap, cleared M SoO a couple times, cleared all the other raids on heroic probably 20 times each, cleared every dungeon/scenario, and all the remix achievements that grant you a toy/appearance/etc.
I didn’t get all the weapon transmog drops, and I didn’t max out all reputations or complete all the campaigns, but just about everything else is done.
Overall this was a great event, and I’m really hoping they do another. WoD would be perfect for a next round. I’m walking away with an army of alts to choose from, a bunch of mounts and transmogs, and got the opportunity to learn a bunch of classes I would’ve never even tried. I learned Paladin, rogue, and warlock are fun for me, and mages, druids, and evokers aren’t for me.
Most of all I got to experience the only expac I played exactly 0% of. Every other expac I played at least a patch of.
I do wish that Alt’s bronze upgrade costs were lessened after the first character gets to 476, I would’ve capped more classes and raided with them. I also wish that more of the cloak applied to alts, even if it only applied to characters after hitting 70 or something. Mainly, I just wanted to be able to play more of my alts with less friction. Getting 2 to cap was a slog, and I kind of regret capping the 2nd one, since it was a lot of time, and getting groups was… challenging. The payoff was kind of meh too, I just kept doing the same things after gear cap, but getting groups was suddenly very easy.
Overall though, 8/10, would remix again.

Astra Community backlash to Blizzard Denying Ban Appeals

Astra Boosting Owner Fal speaks openly about the result that Blizzard will not revoke their Bans on their bank accounts. I think this is a good thing as the owner herself is a piece of shit person. I truly believe this is a exit scam and they are acting innocent as always.
