Poor FPS - World of Warcraft on high end PC.
I've got really poor FPS in World of Warcraft - I average around 50-81 FPS in Dornogal, standing still, if I'm moving / dragonriding in Dornogal I plummet down to around the 50-60 mark.
My specs are
MB: GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS ELITE AX
CPU: Intel Core i5-13600KF Raptor Lake CPU
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX NITRO+ - 24GB GDDR6 RAM
MEMORY: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000 - 32GB
PSU: ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum
SSD: 2TB can specify if needed.
MONITOR: 27" Dell Alienware AW2723DF - 2560x1440 (QHD) - 240Hz
I find it really frustrating to lag on a mid / to high-end system like this. I have tweaked with the settings In-Game - Been following this regarding my graphics. (https://github.com/tukui-org/ElvUI/wiki/performance-optimization-retail)
My monitor is set to its maximum refresh rate (280).
I have the newest drivers - Just restarted my whole computer (Reinstalled windows), so the PC should be "Factory reset". I've also deleted WoW files such as WTF, and cleansed corrupted files, if there were any.
Even after all this, I still average around the 50-81 FPS mark.
So i wanna ask if there is anyone, who can help with this issue, thank you.

This official art of the Horde marching from Orgrimmar by Veli Nyström is so underrated. I love how everyone's armor has orcish themes, but each race has a bit of variation to match their own culture's aesthetic. This is why I don't want to ditch faction identity, it gets us cool ideas like this.

I wrote a small addon for realtime secondary stats during combat
I found a couple of weakauras which attempted to do a similar thing but they either didn't update in combat, or were buggy and resource heavy. So I built a little addon which gives you configurable bars for your secondary state values. Not super useful, but I enjoy watching my haste skyrocket when trinkets pop along with PI and lust. Maybe others will enjoy it.

Yes Man makes sense, it's a common phrase. Concur Sir rhymes. Assent Bloke and Agree Gentleman are stupid names. They should instead be changed to Assent Gent and Comply Guy.

Got my wife into WoW!... Should I be concerned?
My wife didn't grow up with WoW, but she's gracious enough to try out this game that's "too cartoony, too generic" for her.
We tried Classic first, which was a mistake. It was too old for her, which is fair.
Then we tried Retail, and she was kind of just accepting her fate in Exile's Reach and then the start of Dragonflight. "It's okay," she said.
Then she saw that she could make a Death Knight, and to my surprise, she offered to make a new character. I gleefully agreed, since this was the first time she wanted to do something in WoW first.
Oh the joy she had. Slaughtering civilians, razing their towns, salting their fields. We didn't even get that far -- the last quest was the awful one with Keleseth's Persuaders, although she did figure out an optimal method of torturing several people at the same time.
Should I be concerned?... Maybe when she runs out of ~~innocents~~ Death Knight quests.
On that note, does anyone have a suggestion as to what expansion we should start once she graduates from the Death Knight intro? I'm thinking Shadowlands.

Collecting mythic appearances should automatically fill in the others
It's honestly crazy how in the year 2025, with warbands, If you want to collect armor from past expansions, you have to run three four times in a row, on every single character Just to have a chance of having a full set of gear from that raid. When you factor in the number of classes that we have, and having to do it on four difficulties starting with LFR and going all the way up to mythic, it's just maddening. You would need to play the game at least 70 hours a week for years in order to collect even half of the appearance sets

Blizzard absolutely needs to do better in providing in-game info on systems
If you've been playing this game for 10-20 years and have kept up closely with everything, then this post probably isn't for you.
But as someone who has returned after a good 2 expansions or so off (haven't put any serious time into this since legion) and that I'm taking a friend who hasn't played the game before through it, there is a lot that this game just straight up does not tell you.
And it's stuff that's pretty core to the max level experience too.
For example, I hit 80 about 6 weeks ago and was like "alright I might start up blacksmithing again, was pretty high level back in the day"
Whole system has changed. Basic fundamental "make stuff level up" principle is still there, but what the f is quality? What does concentration do? What are the extra reagents? What the hell is recrafting?
There just needs to be an extra speech bubble option with the trainer standing next to the crafting table of "what the fuck does all this shit mean?" Two three pages saying what's what would be it.
I even watched a video guide and had to follow that closely.
Okay so Mythic dungeons are harder versions sounds fair enough. What the fuck is a keystone? How do I get them? What do they mean?
Does any NPC actually tell you this? (I know all of this, but my friend had literally zero clue what any of this was)
In a lot of ways the game is more accessible than ever, but in many others hitting max level is completely overwhelming.
The story campaign is extremely hand-holdy and then it drops you in and says "good luck lol"
I wonder how many people wasted so much time leveling professions and other rep through levelling dragonflight only to find out the hard way that most of it is irrelevant as soon as they are in TWW

Lazy variety of recent Trading Post content

I'm not usually one to complain about the contents of the Trading Post, some dry months are fine because it lets you save up for the ''good'' months. Recently though I've noticed that every month HALF of the entire TP is filled with these slippers and skirts. Before this year I remember there being a way bigger variety of items, but I think ever since January it's only been recolors of the same stuff. Can we perhaps switch it up a bit, I feel like the excitement isn't there anymore like it used to be.

Seriously, the videos are a highlight reel. They're a culmination of weeks of practice by a coordinated team. Watch a stream sometime, they pull, wipe, discuss, pull, wipe, adjust, pull, wipe, realign, repeat. It's not a spontaneous thing that randomly happens
They pull that first giga pull in Floodgate because no one stands in shredinate, no one eats a flame thrower, all the channels are interrupted quickly and the Unholy DK is doing 10 million dps so the packs die before the tank/healer run out of CDs.
You pull that first giga pull in floodgate, three people live in a sawblade so long that their class is changed to "shredded longpork", the flamethrower strafe all three melee plus the tank, 1 out of 2 channels is interrupted and two of the dps are below the tank who was pulling just over 1 mil.
When you fumble a mechanic in a 5, that's a healer problem, when you fumble a mechanic in a 10 that's a you problem, which becomes an everyone problem. This is why healers quit before getting there and this is how dps get there with all their bad habits intact. Not that 10s are crazy high or anything, they're just about the point where even a magnificent bastard of a healer can't just make all the booboos go away anymore.
So please, just chill. You aren't that guy bud. And if your fragile ego really must believe that you are that guy (your rating and the fact that you're pugging a 10 4 weeks in says otherwise), your team is not a coordinated group. The timers aren't that tight on lower levels. Just pull sensible, don't wipe, don't go crazy over count and you'll make it.
