The new Housing trailer helped me overcome my housing anxiety
In theory, I'm the exact target audience for housing.
I remember in Skyrim how much better the game felt when i had a house to go back to after adventures, a place to chill where you don't have to worry about being attacked.
With that in mind, I was excited for housing.
Then, when it arrived, I picked my plot, entered the house and i felt so overwhelmed by how empty it was. The amount of work I'd need to make a great looking house felt overwhelming.
I looked at all these great houses here on reddit, or on YouTube and it all felt so insurmountable to even imagine collecting all these items. So i never went back.
Then i watched the trailer, and how the character just.. collected one item, was excited about it and then put it into her house.
This was manageable. Just one item at a time, and it made me realise that its ok to have a barely decorated house, that you could just work on slowly, one item at a time.
Since watching it, i spent all night working on my house, finding Décor and really enjoying my time.
This is just a fluff post really, but I thought maybe there's someone else out there like me that might resonate, who felt overwhelmed and didn't go back.
You should, just one item at a time

I think I finally figured out the feeling Im having trying to play with the pre-patch.
I didnt play any of the beta. So yesterday was my first foray into Midnight. It feels like Im driving someone elses car. Its like I know how to drive it, I can get to where I need to, but it just feels off the whole time. The UI just isnt "right" no matter how much I mess with it. WA that I had setup to remind me to use certain buffs when they run out (Flametongue for example) obviously dont work. I just get that feeling that I dont want to play because I want to go back to my car. Which unfortunately, isnt happening.

Flesh out og race customization rather than make new races
I like all the og races of WoW, I think everyone does.
And its pretty obvious that og players and new players have mostly stuck to those races.
Data has shown that most new races aside from TBC are more rare than common.
I like the direction they're taking with Midnight, focusing more on past content and fleshing it out. The Haranir imo are pretty cool, feels more grounded than Dragon people or tiny fox people. But maybe that being said I would have rather seen more customization added to the races we've all been played for 2 decades. We're more invested in those.
What do you guys think? More new races so long as they're good? Or focus more on the og's?

I’m sorry High Elf enjoyers, you were right…
For the longest time, I was against adding High Elves to the Alliance because I felt it would detract from the story and identity of Blood Elves. When Void Elves were introduced, though, I was genuinely excited. They felt like a fresh, interesting take with a bit of edge.
Now, eight years later, and on the cusp of Midnight, it’s clear that Void Elves have cannibalized so much of what once made Blood Elves interesting and unique, in a way that High Elves never would have. Add to that the Devourer spec completely overhauling the Demon Hunter aesthetic just to fit that race, and it starts to feel even more off.
I guess what I’m really saying is: I just want my green-crystal, green-eyed Blood Elves back.

Murloc Monday - ask your questions here
*Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle! RwlRwlRwlRwl!*
That's murloc for "Welcome to Murloc Mondays" - where people can ask any type of question about WoW without getting strangled by a Death Knight.
Questions can range from what's new in Dragonflight, what class is OP, and how many Demons will it take to down Thrall?
Questions can come from brand new players, players returning, or veteran players who never got a chance to ask the right question.
Afraid of not getting an answer? Rest assured, we know that at least 90% [of questions get answered!](https://redd.it/djsvm8)

Quazii UI is breaking the WoW EULA and basic copyright law
If you are not aware, Quazii has created an UI that is available for his Patreon followers, and it's available only if you subscribe (pay $$).
The Blizzard UI Addon Development Policy specifically prohibits paywall-ing addons:
> 1) Add-ons must be free of charge.
> All add-ons must be distributed free of charge. Developers may not create “premium” versions of add-ons with additional for-pay features, charge money to download an add-on, charge for services related to the add-on, or otherwise require some form of monetary compensation to download or access an add-on.
Further more, multiple addon authors of other projects report that Quazii UI is basically "borrowing" a lot of code from different/other projects in order to put together his "UI", and many of these addons that he's blatantly copying are distributed under an ARR (All Rights Reserved) license.
It's absolutely incredible on the shit that "streamers" are trying to get away with, and Blizzard is silently doing nothing about it, even when violating their policy which has "stopped" honest addon authors to profit from their work for over 20 years.
EDIT: title says EULA, but I meant "Addon Development Policy", can't edit title.
EDIT2: More reactions, Luckyone961 on Twitter:
> Just so everyone is aware: The UI/Addon Quazii is selling on his Patreon contains full 1:1 copies of ElvUI files and code. This is against the licensing and will result in a investigation via Patreon's designated copyright agent.

Learning tank is a horrid experience
I decided to learn tank since there is a shortage and I was interested. To sum up my experience I am no longer interested.
All dps start pulling themselfs and yelling when I dont do optimal speedrun routes or take a second to look at what mobs are in front of me. Or when I dont kite the exact direction they want me to.
I did like 20-30 dungeons and im just done with it. The tank role is not the issue, the players are.
Edit: my experience was while queueing dungeons while leveling, not M+ or raiding
