Love this forsaken bedroom!

I love this forsaken bedroom on WoWDB Housing Hub by Aubrionna!!! Does anybody have an idea about how to make these Surimar windows green? The maker does not share much details and the list of 'ingredients' is unfortunately incomplete too. I tried with a bottom side of replica felblood altar but it can't be made big enough and the rims of it are a problem.

them in mind. Frost only took one attempt. Balance druid also was ok, but I probably could have figured out how to snare Kurast rather than trying to just root rot him. I can't remember if I did this in one try or just a few, but it wasn't many. Affliction was surprisingly one and done, despite having never played affliction. I spent an hour or so attempting marksmanship, which leads me to believe the problem is me, or talents, but I'm leaning on it being just me.

##The God-Queen's Fury (Sigryn) - Arcane Mage, Retribution Paladin, Assassination Rogue, Enhancement Shaman, Demonology Warlock
This fight is probably the most nerfed since legion. Every class I did it with managed to finish before serious ability overlap began. Arcane mage was the slowest, having to deal with Blood of the Father twice. I will attribute the difficulties I had with being unfamiliar with arcane and not being very good at it. Every class feels like they have the ability to manage mistakes with Blood of the Father, Retribution can heal and bubble it, mage can ice block until polymorph comes back up. Rogues have feint and warlocks have drain life to mitigate the excessive damage. I didn't encounter it going off with shaman, and only did one attempt, but I imagine they could heal or use capacitor totem until hex comes back off cooldown. Aside from two tries on paladin, and two tries on warlock, I was able to do this encounter relatively cleanly. The funny thing is I main ret; I should have been able to one shot it, and warlock was my main alt in Undermine, so I am familiar with both specs. Hubris is most likely the culprit there.

##The Highlord's Return (Highlord Kruul) - Blood Death Knight, Vengeance Demon Hunter, Guardian Druid, Brewmaster Monk, Protection Paladin, Protection Warrior
This is my favorite Mage Tower challenge. Monk was the class I was working on at the very end, racing against the clock to gear up before the end of 7.3.5, however the summer of 2018 was a busy one for me due to real life goings on, mostly work, and I was never able to get my Monk mage tower ready, so I did not complete it on every spec back then, but it was my goal. I don't know what it is about this encounter that makes me love it so much. Maybe its trauma. I have spent a decent amount of hours in Kruul's arena, both in 2018 and today. Back before I decided on doing all specs and all classes I was attempting to beat the tower with a fresh remix ilvl 102 greens druid. I had probably over 100 or so attempts before calling it quits. I have the final failed attempt (the only fail attempt I've kept) for that one, the damage just isn't there, and despite a better geared tank managing 6 annihilates, an undergeared remix druid could only manage 4 before the 5th was a one shot, which is again, mostly a dps problem. Orbs instead of being held for phase 2 had to be used to kill adds or heal Velen. Overall I think Demon Hunter and Warrior have this challenge the easiest, with my Warrior attempt having twisted reflection go off, heal Kruul to ~45%, and 5 stacks of annihilate, before ultimately being a kill. Demon Hunters can just ignore knockbacks. Warriors and druids have charge, but it is less reliable (that knockback sends you flying FAST). Still VERY fun, and still my favorite challenge.

##End of the Risen Threat (Lord Erdris Thorn) - Restoration Druid, Mistweaver Monk, Holy Paladin, Holy Priest, Restoration Shaman
Ok. This might be like 8 years of pent up rage, but like, who thought a 7 phase challenge was ok (with one phase being a timed 5 minute phase) when every other challenge is 3 at best? Also you are at the mercy of NPC AI that can sometimes be very infuriating, like Callie just shadowstepping in front of Jarod and eating a mana sting and now you're dispelling the wrong person, or the enemy NPC AI just deciding that Granny Marl is the real threat, or Granny Marl focusing the Arbalest and not the Mage or Warrior. Part of that might be on me for attacking the wrong character, and I get that having a healing challenge where you don't really heal isn't much of a

clip my aimed shot cast a lot, which would in general lower my dps, but it is my slowest twins kill by far. Maybe a hunter main could tell me if its just missing a capstone, or I had bad talents or if it really was just me being horrible. Druid is only as high as it is due to having more challenges. Demon Hunter, Death Knight, and Warrior all could swap spots with each other its that close. Paladin and Priest are only as high as they are because I think those two specs have the worst time currently in the healer challenge. I was able to one shot each of the rogue's encounters, and I know next to nothing about rogues. I had seriously laughable mistakes in each encounter that should have made me reset, but did not. In the outlaw encounter I forgot to do the weird one button rotation poison cycling thing it does, since entering the Mage Tower wipes your player of all buffs. The first 10 seconds of the Agatha fight was me applying 2 poisions then reapplying them in a different order. Thanks one button rotation! Hoping to avoid this situation in the next encounter, I cycled my poisons when I entered Sigryn's arena for the Assassination challenge. SMART! I also forgot that Outlaw rogues can't use a dagger main hand, because Blizzard hates us. So the first 30 seconds of the Sigryn encounter I did not have a dagger equipped in my main hand. I'm a great rogue. Well, Subtlety and assassination both use daggers so I'm in the clear for the Xylem. Except that I don't know anything about subtlety rogues and apparently they spend most of the fight IN stealth despite attacking, and how like all other stealth specs work. So my action bar did not have...anything except the one button rotation on it. Neat. I was able to drag kick onto the bars, and during the intermission between phase 2 grabbed my hotkeys onto a bar that didn't change in stealth. All of those mistakes are on me, for sure, and are really dumb. But to be honest, the real dumb thing was I still managed to complete the challenges despite those setbacks. To be fair, rogue was the second to last class I completed the challenges on, so I was well practiced by that point, but I don't know if that should be possible. Warlocks drain life makes all 3 challenges easy: mistakes are very forgivable when you can heal them in one or two ticks. You could (theoretically) heal through Sigryn's Blood of the Father if you wanted to try. If you get fear off a little too late it isn't run ending like it (presumably) used to be. I haven't played Mage since Legion and all three specs play very well with one button rotation and these challenges. I have never played arcane and its my slowest Sigryn kill, but was still a one shot. Shaman and Monk could also switch spots. I think shaman has the easiest time in the healing challenge, however monk is not too far behind. Despite not knowing anything about Monk healing I was able to push past phase one on my second attempt.

#Hardest to Easiest challenge, in my personal opinion:

1. End of the Risen Threat (Lord Erdris Thorn) - Healer
2. The Highlord's Return (Highlord Kruul) - Tank
3. The God-Queen's Fury (Sigryn) - Council
4. Thwarting the Twins (Raest Magespear) - Kite
5. An Impossible Foe (Agatha) - Cleave
6. Closing the Eye (Archmage Xylem) - Mechanics
7. Feltotem's Fall (Tugar Bloodtotem) - Positioning

Agatha used to be a joke, as mentioned earlier. She is still quite a bit easier than some of the other challenges. I have not been a serious healer since Wrath of the Lich King so if you are a main healer you might find it easier than I did. The healer and tank challenges are really the only challenges with hard failures, being knocked off or having an NPC die on you. All of the other hard failures in other challenges can be shouldered through, I had several brushes with Sigryn cast of Blood of the Father, which would be a wipe normally. Paladin could heal through it, mage was able to ice block it until polymorph came off cooldown. Being hit by a boulder in Agatha's arena isn't necessarily a one shot due to scaling, most classes can handle the AOE

Significant issue with guild management and housing

Bit of a PSA and I hope a lurking dev sees this. If someone has a house in the guild neighborhood they can't gquit and the GM can't kick them until they move their house to a different neighborhood. This should be fixed like, ASAP. Imagine if someone crashes out in gchat and starts throwing out gamer words and you literally can't kick them.

I'd recommend maybe making it so if someone quits or gets kicked it auto moves their house to a random public neighborhood that has their plot available. Hope they get on this soon.

Trading Post Warning

Just a heads up, I was trying to purchase some mounts on the Trading Post last week, and the transaction took a while to load before receiving a warning para "There was a problem connecting to the Trading Post." I did not receive the mount, and I tried several more times.

I realized too late the my Trader's Tenders were still being subtracted from my account each time. I already sent a support ticket that said they could not do anything but they recommended I submit a bug report, which I have, this is simply a warning to others to stop Trading as soon as you see a transaction error.

I am fully and disappointingly aware that I may never recover my Tenders, or if I do, the February Trading Outpost will be over : ( leaving me without the mounts and mogs I've been hunting for a while; and having to start saving from scratch.

TLDR: Trading Post is sometimes stealing your Tenders.

challenge but boy can this fight be frustrating. Mostly because of the random nature compared to most of the other challenges being relatively on rails. In general, if you can deal with the last 2 groups of phase 1, you can probably get the challenge down with minimal issues. Dealing with double Knife Dance from the warriors, or just the mage free casting while the one warrior is knife dancing and the arbalest is doing whatever can be a bit tricky. I feel like Priest has the least amount of tools to take care of these packs, with big healing cooldowns doing very little when your party is getting 2 shot, even through Divine Hymn. Monk and Shaman have so much passive healing that they are, in my opinion, the easiest of the bunch, with druid being not far behind. The rest of the challenge after the first phase up until the final two (healing the ghosts/party and attacking Erdris) just could be deleted and be, basically the same, in my opinion. The solo part basically forces you to just do everything you have or will do, but by yourself and also dpsing. Due the fact that you pretty much also have to dps in the other parts (or they will go incredibly slow) it feels redundant. When you look at all the other challenges and then you look at this challenge it feels like the designers of this challenge either hated healers, wanted to really challenge healers, or completely misunderstood the assignement and went a little overboard. If you're only going to do one healer, pick shaman it is by far the easiest, with monk and druid being not far behind. Paladin is better than priest, coming in dead last, at least in my opinion. Paladin and Monk stand out to me as the only classes that I didn't finish the first time after I got past phase 1. Paladin mostly because hubris, I was trying to edge a little too closely with the ignite soul debuff and ate a stomp. Even if you are at full health I found it easier to heal up your party rather than to get your own health low, ignite soul will only bring them down to around 30%, with Granny Marl sometimes not getting hit at all. Monk died to healing the ghosts, I let 3 get through because I don't know anything about Monk healing. Then on another attempt that got past phase one I somehow didn't heal up a ghost on the stairs and it turned, and I ended up lacking the dps to beat the stairs in 5 minutes, because I don't know anything about Monk healing. I should also reiterate that I don't know anything about Monk healing.

#Final Thoughts
If you want to see my successful attempts, here is my playlist. My goal isn't to be a guide, but more of a no commentary/gameplay only perspective. There are several good guides floating around if you are interested in that. My personal reccomendation is lumingaming">Tanks for Watching. He has good advice, and is a much better player than I am. I hope that you gain something, either knowledge or entertainment from watching. I don't think that any of my attempts could be called perfect, in fact most are quite scuffed. I make several (sometimes laughable) mistakes. Come chuckle at me being dumb :P

I hope you enjoyed this long winded post. If you have questions I'm happy to respond. I also hope that this inspires you to go out and accomplish your goals! I surprised myself with this one. I would consider myself an average player at best. If I can do it, you can too!

Quick edit - I didn't use AI to write this. That's a little insulting. I may be showing my age but this sort of writing was a requirement to finish school. I get that you don't have the patience to write or read something of this length. I just spent a week or so hyperfocused on the Mage Tower and now I can get a little bit of that dopamine hit by thinking about and discussing my hyperfixation. By next week I probably won't care so much. Also, it costs you nothing to say nothing. Just keep that in mind. Have a good day.

damage in Xylem's intermission or walking through the energy beams of the nexus. Being stunned or silenced in Tugar's arena, or even having you pet die (up to at least 3 times) isn't run ending. And to be honest, after a ton of attempts at Ky'veza ?? it is refreshing to be able to make a mistake or two (or ten) and still recover.

Thoughts on specific challenges:

##Feltotem's Fall (Tugar Bloodtotem) - Beast Mastery Hunter, Windwalker Monk, Discipline Priest, Destruction Warlock
Probably the easiest challenge, and has the least amount of specs that have access to it. It was very easy back in legion as well. For my BM hunter, on my kill my pet died 3 separate times to me not interrupting a cast from Tugar. I missed several opportunities to remove scales and was even stunned as well as nature locked at one point and still managed. None of the classes that have this will really have a tough time with the abilities currently available, it felt like every class could manage the problems this challenge faced. I don't know much about windwalker monk and was able to one shot the encounter, despite not knowing what slicing winds does (and almost shooting myself off the side). The same could be said about warlock, I have never really played Destruction outside of maybe LFR. No real notable notes about this encounter, it is the least memorable.

##Closing the Eye (Archmage Xylem) - Frost Death Knight, Havoc Demon Hunter, Survival Hunter, Subtlety Rogue, Arms Warrior
I really like this challenge. It is very straightforward. I spent the least amount of retries on this challenge, despite Tugar being easier by far. My ego thought I could manage Tugar on a fresh remix character at 102 ilvl. I only had to reset for Demon Hunter, and Hunter. Demon Hunters seem to take more damage in the searching for Xylem part, but I probably could have used darkness or something? Or spectral sight, which I didn't use. I had to reset on hunter because you HAVE to use flare to reveal him, unlike every other spec. I also made the mistake of having /petattack in my one button rotation macro, so positioning my pet as a hunter during phase 2 made the fight harder than it needed to be. I still managed to finish the fight the first time I got to phase 2, but it made for an interesting time. Rogue was the only class that encountered the enrage despite survival hunter taking around the same time, albeit in the last 5 seconds of the encounter, so quite manageable.

##An Impossible Foe (Agatha) - Unholy Death Knight, Feral Druid, Fire Mage, Outlaw Rogue, Elemental Shaman, Fury Warrior
This was the easist back in legion due to how the Lightblood Elixir worked, trivializing the fight. I think an argument could be said that this encounter is easier than Xylem, which I would most likely concede. If you can manage to cleave down her imps, this fight is mostly don't stand in swirlies and avoid boulders. Allowing imps to explode makes the terrain worse. Most classes can manage her two empowering adds easily with roots, snares, knockbacks, or disorients. Rogues and Warriors have enough cleave that crowd control didn't feel necessary. A dip in the lava or being hit by a boulder isn't run ending like it used to be, although it does take you down to 20% or lower health.

##Thwarting the Twins (Raest Magespear) - Balance Druid, Marksmanship Hunter, Frost Mage, Shadow Priest, Affliction Warlock
Aside from hunter this fight was very fun this time around. During legion this fight gave me a decent amount of frustration because I was a shadow priest main, but not a good shadow priest. I did manage to complete it back then, despite my hatred for surrender to madness, which was the preferred talent choice to burn the final phase. Shadow priest this time around felt very fun. For me it was a one shot with the one button rotation. I must admit when I was gearing for this encounter I was not fond of the tentacle slam, but after this fight it grew on me a little. I might add shadow priest back into my alt rotation. Frost mage also felt very powerful, like this fight was designed with

I just completed Tower Overwhelming. My thoughts as an average player.

With all the posts about the Mage Tower and scaling since the prepatch floating around, and having not much else to do in game currently, I decided to check it out and possibly try out some of the new changes to specs, with no real goal in mind.

I had done a handful of the challenges back when they were 'current', as in 7.3.5, when Argus catch up gear, the "Artifact Weapon Instability" which maxxed AP on weapons, and purchasable legionaries made it much much easier than when it was released. I managed to finish 6 of the 7 scenarios, with the Healer scenario being too hard for me, as I am not a great player.

That being said, if you are interested at all in anything from the Mage Tower, either the Felbear skin, the mount, or any of the class sets, now might be the best time to get those things accomplished. The gear from the event in the Twilight Highlands conveniently drops ilvl 121 gear, which is exactly the level needed for the Mage Tower with no upgrade investment. Any freshly leveled Legion Remix character (or unplayed alt) should have access to:

8 catalyst charges
Reshii Wraps
Disc Belt (after 1 delve)
Everything from Reputation Vendors (valorstones/crests/crafting mats/delve keys)

The only real hard item to get would be trinkets, although there are still several ways to get decent trinkets; you can buy them for 2k undercoins from the vendor at the end of delves, run m+/normal raids (for drops and dinar), gamble valorstones at Agmera in Dorn, or use ilvl 105 world quest trinkets. I found that in doing the one delve to get the Disc belt I would either get a trinket, or enough undercoins to get one or two, since it is a warband currency.

Aside from gear, having leech enchants, crystalline radiance, the appropriate weapon enchants, and the 7 gems (6 jewelry and 1 free one from the disc belt) should net you most of the extra strength needed. For almost all of my kills, I did not use consumables, unless I already had them on hand. On a few of my characters that I hadn't played since last season, their gear was good enough almost, old Undermine heroic gear and trinkets landed around ilvl 108, as well as Cyrce's Circlet. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them on a fresh alt, but if you have them, they work fine. The current tier set for all classes and specs are +6%/10% damage (or healing) and the only tier set that currently works in the Mage Tower.

#Overall thoughts:
Current difficulty compared to Legion: Due to how the scaling is currently it's much easier right now. It is certainly not free, and mechanics still matter. All of the dps challenges, as well as the tank challenge benefit from this, however this happens to make the healing challenge a bit harder. In general, compared to back in 7.3.5, almost all challenges are easier than they were, with the exception being Agatha. Agatha is only "harder" now due to how broken the Lightblood Elixir used to be in that fight, it practically made it free. I managed to get the outlaw and fire appearances having never played either spec back then, before one button rotation or tools like hekili were around (or if they existed, I didn't use them). I personally was quite fond of Xylem and Kruul, and going into this round those were the fights I knew best from memory. I only completed Sigryn on one spec back then, which was Retribution Paladin. Aside from the healer challenge that was the fight I knew the least about. In Legion I had no experience with Warlock, Shaman, Monk. Currently I have almost no knowledge of Rogue, Mage, or Monk - specifically healing.

#Hardest to Easiest class, in my personal opinion:

1. Hunter
2. Priest
3. Paladin
4. Druid
5. Demon Hunter
6. Death Knight
7. Warrior
8. Shaman
9. Monk
10. Mage
11. Warlock
12. Rogue

It is quite possible that I think hunter is the hardest because I am not good at hunter (which is true), however specifically the Marksmanship challenge felt the worst of the dps challenges, and was considerably slower. Watching back I noticed I

Housing Decor Storage limit is completely broken; you can soft-lock your whole account's storage

I've been sitting at 5000/5000 cap on storage items for a while now, certain that I'm not at the cap and that there's something going wrong. Today I've spent a few hours putting every single item I own into a spreadsheet, both placed and stored, noting if it can be deleted from your storage or not, as well as some extra testing with items that say they don't count towards the cap.

Here are the results:

https://preview.redd.it/jja9wuy5lrhg1.png?width=830&format=png&auto=webp&s=c0c1a0a9ab4fcde20cda333aaa0b885e1cc34356

A few things to note there, one, the "Total Decor Owned" tooltip is just inherently wrong, I own more items than that, and even if I was to try and manipulate the numbers in some way, like detracting placed items or something, it never reaches that exact number. The reason behind this I do not know, I can only assume they have some items uniquely flagged that for some reason don't get counted there.

The biggest issue is the whole mess that is "items that don't count towards the storage cap", which are the items that cannot be deleted from your storage chest. In total, I own 2221 items that should not be counted towards the storage limit; items such as walls, platforms, and so on, which when subtracted from my total items in my storage chest, would put me at 3091 items, far below the 5000 storage cap. So items that say they don't count towards your storage cap are just a complete lie, and judging by the numbers, by which I mean the fact I'm at 5312 items owned, I imagine only a small subset of special items is supposed to not count towards your storage cap and everything else is.

There's a weird discrepancy in "items that don't count", such as, small platforms can be destroyed and do count towards the cap, but large platforms cannot be destroyed and "don't" count towards the cap. I imagine this is where the fault lies, where a lot of items like the aforementioned large platforms are incorrectly flagged as not counting and preventing their destruction, while behind the scenes they do count and are polluting your storage chest.

I've recorded a short 2 minute video showcasing the most egregious issue with this that you can see here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAjUEBxISTM

I'll recap the video quickly for the people who are unable to watch it:

I'm at 5000 cap, unable to learn any decor. Large platforms state that they do NOT count towards the cap, so they logically should be able to be redeemed at the cap, but yet you cannot. More worryingly, I can destroy an item that can be destroyed, which brings me to 4999/5000, after which I can redeem a large platform (that once again, CANNOT be destroyed) and it will succeed and bring me back to 5000/5000.

What this means is that, if I was to redeem a total of 5000 items that cannot be destroyed because they "don't" count towards the cap, I would be unable to acquire another single decor item for the rest of my life on my account, since I'd have 5000 items that all count towards the cap but cannot be destroyed.

# You can effectively completely soft-lock yourself and your housing decor.

In conclusion, disregarding the discussion if the decor storage chest limit is too low or not, the current decor storage implementation is completely broken as under the right circumstances you might find yourself completely unable to redeem another decor item, forever.

Would anyone be interested in Single Button Assistant (SBA) guides with talent optimization?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been using Single Button Assistant extensively across multiple specs and have spent a lot of time figuring out which talents synergize best with how the addon prioritizes abilities.

I’m thinking about creating some guides that cover:

∙ Talent builds optimized specifically for SBA users

∙ How to configure SBA for different specs

∙ Understanding why SBA suggests certain abilities (and when to override it)

∙ Tips for newer players transitioning from SBA to manual rotations

∙ Performance comparisons and how close you can get to optimal DPS

Before I invest the time, I wanted to see if this is something the community would find valuable.

Questions:

∙ What class/spec would you most want to see covered first?

∙ Are you currently using SBA, or curious about trying it?

∙ Would you prefer video guides, written guides, or both?

∙ Any specific pain points or questions you have about using SBA effectively?

If there’s enough interest, I’ll start putting together some content. Let me know what you think!
