**14.** Fungal Folly is the only Delve that I think it needs a nerf/rework. Just way too much pain doing it.

**15.** There is a lot of damage coming from no where from both sides, probably just bugs. There is some one-shots you take that even Details can't get the info, and Brann just one-shoted the last boss of Underkeep out of nowhere.

Probably going to be fixed before release otherwise prepare to be frustated sometimes.

I've beaten almost all level 10 Delves. Here is a summary of every point worth mentioning.

The game still is in beta and subject to change. Created this topic because I love feedback, and you can ask me anything if you want to.

Side Note: I'm not a pro player or anything, so any difficult related points are, of course, a perspective from player to player. I would say I'm an all season keystone master but with rush being so common today I don't think it is a title worth of mentioning.

1. All the way to level 8 the most common rewards is a currency called Undercoin. Right now, Undercoin is only tradeable for ilvl 567 blue equipment, some pets and cosmetics.

2. Delves are a great way to obtain rare/epic profession recipes, dropping around 1 each delve past lvl 8.

3. Within testing, fresh level 80 characters will not be able to go past 8 (ilvl 576 recommended, see number 6) and the level 10 delves I did was within These Go To Eleven realm which auto-scale your ilevel to the recommended while inside the delves (576 for 8, 600 for 9 and 610 for 10).

4. You guys probably know this already, but there is 3 variants for each delve. As right now, each variant can only be obtained through direct Delve level and it is not random (1-3, 4-8 and 9-11).

5. Ilvl matters and there is a DPS check. I played with some classes (more on that latter) but for comparison as a Windwalker monk I had 576 ilvl and about 4kk life at level 8. Normal Meele hits from mobs goes from 700k all the way up to 2kk (bosses).

6. Although Ilvl does matter and may be gatekeeping some people at the start of the expansion, there IS a lot of room to master mechanics and use it to make the delve easier.

As an example there is a Delve called "The Dread Pit", where u stun some mobs with an item so they do not participate in the fight. The game doesn't tell you this (which makes me have no sure if it is intended) but each mob take down while in the lure effect deals a % of life to all creatures around it. I used this to take the boss down being Dread Pit the only Delve I took all the way up to level 11.

7. The Rewards within the Delves are good, but you are limited to RNG. There is a Buff that goes around each Delve every couple of hours and makes it give an additional chest at the end of the Delve, which guarantees a 606 ilvl equipment (level 10 Delve). You need a key to open this chest, and it didn't drop for me within the Delves.

In the These Go to Eleven realm you can buy it on a NPC so that's the way I could test it.

Unfortunately the dream of just spamming the Delve you like to get high level equipment is far away in this beta Build.

8. As far as restriction goes, I could spam any level 10 Delve I wanted to receive Ilvl 576-593 equipments. That's also the mythic dungeon ilvl.

9. I needed a lot of time, potions, phials, patience and got a lot of brain damage to complete level 11 delves with some classes alone. The reward difference makes it have no need to go up past 9.

10. Brann does around 60% of the damage within a 10 Delve (my Brann is level 25). It is warband bound so it is shared with your alts too, making it easier to complete Delves on fresh character as long you can survive.

Unfortunately, you are still bound to World of Warcraft terrible AI (he breaks eggs in Earthcrawl Mines which release nerubians that aren't needed for the Delve completion).

11. There is a lot of affixes. Some of them as the current state of the game goes make it almost impossible to it alone or with a low level Brann.

12. The Healer version of Brann doesn't directly heal you and in my opinion needs a lot of tuning. I was better going with the DPS version in every class I tested.

13. I didn't played Delves with every spec the game has, but here is my list of the easiest I found so far:

1. Elemental Shaman
2. Survival Hunter*
3. Windwalker Monk
4. Bear/Cat Druid
5. Fury Warrior
6. Ret Paladin
7. Demonology Warlock

I know they are unpopular, but PLEASE fix the Kul'Tirans

I'll get straight to the point: Kul'Tirans have been bugged for a long time, and despite my own and many other's attempts, they haven't been fixed yet.

# Male Kul'Tirans are the ones who are the most bugged, so we'll start with them:

Biggest issue: Cleave (Referred to as sweep) attacks incorrectly use an auto-attack animation.


Every other race in the game uses the "sweep" animation for abilities such as: Cleave, Sweeping Strike attacks, Crash Lightning, Wake of Ashes, Coordinated Assault, Death & Decay attacks, Frost Scythe, etc.

Warrior "Slam" Animation is incorrectly using an existing auto-attack animation

#####Female Kul'Tirans only have one notable issue (that I know of)

1. Female Kul'Tirans have no combat expressions at all, and haven't for years.

How long as this been bugged? The earliest I could find a report for this was November 2020 , however, it's safe to assume it's been bugged since their creation.

Healer "hate" feels blown way out of proportion in the community.

With the upcoming changes to tanking, whether they turn out good or bad, many people immediately turned to "now healers will be blamed for everything."

Every single time a change is made, I see comments and posts like this. A potential player or even a veteran considering healing would be made to believe healers are constantly bullied and blamed for everything.

As a healer main since Cata who typically gets his +20s done and heroic raid hugging, this hasn't been my experience at all. In fact, aside from occasional jerks who blame any role they can when something goes wrong, most people remain pretty silent for wipes or target someone who messed up a mechanic.

Sadly enough, i see the MOST toxicity coming from other healers when I'm playing a tank or dps alt, which I'm always disappointed in because it skews the community perspective on healers.

So other healer mains, maybe those who stay silent most of the time, am I alone in feeling this way? Or have I somehow avoided these "healer blamers"?

If you were designing a game where 5 adventurers work together to delve into a dungeon, you would NOT design it so that one of the five was an unkillable juggernaut who can't die and literally doesn't need the other four to win, and only brings them because there's an arbitrary external time limit.

Title.

All these people saying that party members should not have to rely on each other are totally lost in the sauce. That is literally the fundamental cornerstone upon which group content is based. If you asked to design a heroic fantasy roleplaying game, you would NOT design one party member to be nigh-invincible, with no need to even have a group if not for the presence of an arbitrary time limit that requires extra damage to be dealt.

It's perfectly natural for the tank to require healing. It simply makes sense from a baseline design perspective. It is perfectly natural for the tank to not be able to solo the entire dungeon. That simply makes sense from a baseline design perspective. Of course one character can't solo the dungeon, that would be ridiculous.

Cooperation should be a huge part of this game. If there's anyone out there saying, "I want to feel so powerful that I don't have to care at all about what my teammates are doing," to that person I would say go play follower dungeons or something, because that is antithetical to the design of this team-based cooperative game.

This new generation playing and the quote "wasting time"

I was playing cata NM dungeons, and we had a dude doing 1k dps. And the tank was frustrated and wanted to kick him.

I get mad of this people who think that the others players are wasting their time. I don't care if we take 20 minutes or more to finish the dungeon as long as we all have a chill run its fine.

Tank started a vote to kick him, i voted no and all cata player when a kick vote pop up appears in they screens they just press yes. So the guy got kick. We finish the dungeon. After that tank whispers me that dude was wasting time of 4 people.

Imagine if behind the screen is a tired dad that wants to play dungeons and can only play 2 hours a week? What if is a newbie that is learning the game?

This tank just banned this guy for 30 minutes...

I'm getting a little frustrated about this community and the min maxers.

RIP WoW Mobile App (2009-2024)

The WoW companion app officially shuts down on Tuesday (link). Unofficially, it's mostly dead already. Many users have reported the app unusable for weeks due to constant crashing, and I don't expect Blizzard to fix it in the next five days.

The app had a good run. Some of the features (including auction house and guild chat) date back to the old Mobile Armory app in 2009. The mission tables were later added in a separate "Legion Companion App." In BFA it was renamed to simply the Companion App. Many of the old Amory App features (including the AH) were rolled into the companion app, and the Armory app was sunsetted.

Personally I found the app great for easy access to mission tables to farm anima and pet charms.

Blizzard, if you're reading this, I hope you consider giving us remote access to mission tables in-game to replace the functionality of the app.

Maybe it'll come back some day, but who knows. RIP.

I am having SO much fun

I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN

I am super super nooby.

I’ve only played wow for like week long periods over the past 4 years, but the leveling process always seemed so daunting and I got burned out. Idk exactly what changed but it seems so much more manageable now I love it

I love exploring zones and getting cooler and cooler gear. This world is so insanely neat I love just exploring and seeing stuff. Sometimes I just fly around stormwimd looking at my badass armor just enjoying the music.

As a beginner I’ve tried to get into wow so many times but things are so much more manageable as a newcomer now than they were 4 years ago.

Appreciation post to GREAT tank players.

I want to thank a random tank from yesterdays pug, and everyone who is like that player.


We were two returning players who were wobbly on the mechanics and two randoms that apparently was completely new to the game and absolutely had no clue.

He played with us, knew all the mechanics and shortcuts.


Tank never complained, corrected or berated anyone.

If someone accidentally pulled a grp, he was there.

If someone died he waited for them to get ressed.

If someone got lost and had to take a while to get back to the group he stood and waited for them.


Not a word, just actions.


On boss fights we all messed up, he lead by example - patiently showed us the mechanics by doing it right every time, we saw, learned, and got through it.



The tank requeued with us for a while aswell.


A thank you to everyone who is like this. It was very enjoyable for us two returning players, and I'm sure the newbies also found it fun :)

The issue with the tank changes has nothing to do with the top 1%...

People don't understand the issues here and let me explain. For those who don't know, I am a 6 time world first player, first person to hit 3k on every class in a single season, formal class guide writer for EJ and former theory crafter. Most of this was done before I was married, have a career and a family. Except hitting 3k on every class, I did that in DF.

The issue with the changes are, they don't align with the philosophies they laid out. They nerfed self sustain and passive mitigation, but made no changes to incoming damage. I've been doing a ton of beta testing and even at ilevel 608-610, tanks aren't feeling great. I'm happy to see buffs to prot pally WOG but it's still weak.

I've also healed a few dozen keys and I'm tunneling tanks very hard already. I'm happy with the idea of smoothing the spikes AND reducing sustain, but where is the damage smoothing? BDKs for a giant nerf, winning 40-60% with a 25% armor bonus from strength.

They have 5 weeks to get this balancing right. 7 weeks before season 1 starts. And right now class balance is not in a great spot. Many classes need significant tuning, many issues and bugs exist, it feels like alpha still.

This is the problem, philosophy is fine, execution is bad. Remember when they promised to balance season 4? SV hunters are STILL using their season 3 gear...
