Is Blizzard expecting me to farm 1:30h non-stop 1-5 Radiance per mob until the actual event which takes 10 minutes for gear that will be obsolete in a month?
Who even thought of that?? I can farm better gear doing M+ right now, the whole "Pre-patch"/"end of expansion" event is supposed to be fun, gearing up some alts and collect collectibles. This right now is... feels like a joke.
Sure, if we don't like it, we don't HAVE to do it, but when you hype your expansion so much, you expect the pre-expansion event to be at least fun.
And the cost price for every gear... COME ON, you can't be serious. 2000 per item? I have farmed for 30 minutes non-stop and got 170.. I'll never get the full gear unless I won't touch grass for the whole event, which will lead me to burnout when I will have to ACTUALLY PLAY THE EXPANSION.

90 minute timer aside, you need to kill ~1000 mobs to afford one 480 piece for an alt.
Each mob drops about 1-2 Residual Memories. The cheaper pieces of 480 gear cost 2000-3000 memories.
This is kinda just... unfeasible. I know it's just a pre-patch event but that's absurd.
Need to be clear before I get more comments trying to explain the event like I don't understand it - the level of Memories/items in the 5 minutes the event runs for and the weekly quests are fine. I genuinely don't have a problem with those. That is not the issue I am discussing here.
The entire last phase of Lingering Memories is literally completely worthless. It is not worth spending your time doing whatsoever and essentially does not exist. That is a problem.

I feel scammed for re-subbing for the Pre-patch event
90 minute wait between events.
If you're not there right when it starts, it dies in like 3 minutes.
There is basically nothing to do outside of this event other than a 15 minute "story" quest where nothing really happens.
Does anyone else remember the legion pre-patch event? It was just nonstop ongoing.

Why is Blizzard so stingy with gear that Checks notes gets replaced when the event ends
The gear is going to pretty much disappear once the expansion comes out. The pre patch costs are outrageous for "catch up" gear if it takes weeks or multiple characters to gear one.

Shoutout to the people who say thanks to everyone at the end of an instance!
Just returning to the game, been leveling through instances and it's a lot of people just finishing the run without a word and instantly leaving, really quite depressing and empty experience.
I find it really nice when people take the few seconds to say a "ty all" before leaving. Small thing but makes it a more human experience rather than feeling like I'm playing with bots.

This pre-patch event is sooooo bad.
This Radiant Echoes event is just a pile of dogshit.
EXP for alts is great when the event actually is active for the 6 mins and if you take the correct route and if you fly where the least amount of people go you screwed.
30min between the events even feels to long with how the event is, its a horrible unfun event and it sucks massivly if you trying to lvl your left over alts to max lvl and get some gear on them with the collect currency.

This pre-patch event shows that Blizzard STILL doesn’t respect our time
Every expansion they promise the timesinks will get better, but seeing as we’ll have to wait three weeks just to have a fairly paced pre-expansion event just proves they haven’t really learned their lesson.
I can only chalk these decisions up to inflating player engagement to keep the shareholders happy.
Here’s a suggestion, if you want player engagement, make content that’s worth engaging with and we’ll happily no-life that shit.

With only 20 days to go in the event, MoP Remix characters that haven't yet completed the Landfall campaign have been locked out from obtaining the associated class appearances for over a week now
For those who are unaware, there's currently a bug with a few of the reputations in MoP Remix that had their progression accelerated for the event (so that you could progress the story without having to grind dailies), where that reputation bonus is being removed right after it is applied each time you complete a relevant quest. This has been a known issue since the original launch of the pre-patch a week ago, and there are dozens of forum posts, such as this one. This basically means that if you haven't already completed the campaign on any Remix character, there's no way to get all the appearances unless they fix the bug (there aren't enough days left to complete it by grinding the dailies the old school way).
I'm just posting here in order to raise some visibility. The only response we've really gotten so far is an EU blue forum post confirming the issue last week. On the one hand, it's good to know the devs are aware of the issue, but on the other hand, that was 5 days ago, and there's only 20 days left in the event. The hope from everyone in this situation was that a fix would come with the weekly reset today, but that hasn't been the case. Now I'm worried that this might just get buried under the sheer weight of the truly ungodly number of new bugs that today's update introduced. I don't think I've ever seen a launch with half as many wide-ranging bugs as we've seen today.
This is coming on the coattails of several other sub-par launches. The Cata pre-patch in Classic, the 10.2.7 launch, and the initial Mop Remix launch all had a higher than average number of bugs associated with them, but TWW pre-patch takes it to a whole new level. Blizzard's initial TWW announcement at Blizzcon indicated a Fall 2024 release, and it's looking more and more like they should have stuck to that timeline. Community figures with some of the most experience in playing through the alpha/beta cycles to bring us guides/content are calling for a launch delay.
Regardless of the larger issues at play, MoP Remix is a limited-time event focused around obtaining cosmetics, and it would be a shame if characters starting in the final third of the event were simply unable to obtain all the rewards. Hopefully we can see a fix or some communication about what to do in the meantime (should players plow forward with as much rep as they can, should they hold off in case the potential fix isn't retroactive, any indication of what a fix might look like) from the devs.

You have got to be kidding me...
Was this prepatch event play tested? An hour and a half between bosses? Trash mobs only drop 1-5 of the currency and you have to tag them all yourself? Meanwhile gear costs 2000-8000???? Are they fucking high? I sincerely hope they adjust they numbers in the next day or so otherwise it is finished. I have a dozen alts that need gear and I will be lucky to even get 1 ring at this rate.
