I took over an inactive guild and feel like I broke a rule for using the gold in the bank. Did I do anything wrong?
I logged into an alt a few months ago and noticed everyone in the guild had been offline for 2+ years, and that I had the option to become the guild leader. So I clicked the button and removed everyone from the guild, and used the gold for myself (~500k). I feel like I did something bad, but at the same time, if there's a button for it, is it against the rules?

Landfall Achievement impossible to complete.
Due to the warbands patch breaking the rep given by the quests, the 'landfall' Achievement is currently impossible to progress.
Im just trying to increase visibilty of this issue as Blizzard have yet to address it. Given that Mop remix is a limited time even, the clock is ticking for us to have a chance at completing it for the transmog.

Increasing Boss Health is a bad way to make Prepatch Event Longer. Unplayable lag + super long boss fight = terrible gameplay.

As title said. I dont get why i can run ICC, claim the tokens, send em to alts and then unlock pieces. thats great huzzah! and then enter Nighthold, and not be able to claim any of the class specific items.

The new prepatch changes are awesome
It now truly feels like a prepatch event where you have these anomalies continuously invading your world and you just have to kill them non-stop.
The 1h intervals are okay too since the event is now always active in the specific zone so you can spank those recalls as much as you want.
It is also great for alts, you get levels very quickly.
The feedback was toxic but the changes are a blessing!

Lets be real, the prepatch event gear is for transmog only.
TLDR, don't use event to try and gear out your fresh 70s, use the DF world events.
I just came back last week after a long hiatus, I had 2 toons that I geared a bit in season 3, but the rest are lacking. Last week I leveled 3 new toons to 70, (4 normal dungeons got me from 61-70) I geared everyone up to 470-490 and got a 4 set on them all as well thanks to the catalyst. w
This event is not for gearing alts. Someone would have to play at least on and off for 4 and a half hours per toon to complete the 3 zone's quests, then you end up with with about 3 random pieces (not for your class most likely) and under 7k residual memories.
The minute you cap a new alt you pick up the Last Hurrah quest, complete the 3 events and kill the 3 world bosses between the events and you just got yourself 6+ 480 pieces, and 0-3 499s from the world boss drops, plus a few of the green 450s, the 480s can then be put in the catalyst for tier gear, most likely getting a 2 set bonus, and if you are lucky, the 4 set (the event gear does not go into the catalyst). Next you take your antique bronze bullion and buy a bis trinket or nice weapon. You just did all of that in under an hour, before the next event was even active.
I get that they don't want people farming all 4 sets in a few days, but nobody is going to do this for 4 weeks, even when they reduce the time between events and drastically increase the rewards, it just feels bad that we have to suffer through it like this.
EDIT: Oh, and lets add that the event is not fun either, smashing your buttons to watch none of your abilities go off, doing about 25% of the dps I can do normally just feels bad.

People defending the prepatch event are missing the biggest point... it isn't FUN.
Yes, I get it, you've calculated out how "it's not so bad" and "you will be fine the event gets more frequent as weeks go on".
I don't know about you, but I play wow to have fun. Panda remix had issues with currency, but I found it fun. The regular game has a grind, but I find it fun.
This event has a sucky grind that requires careful planning of your day, disrespects the time of anyone who has other things going on in life, all on a 3 week timer driving fomo for collectors. Other events were a grind, but I at least enjoyed rolling from elite to elite, invasion to invasion, blasting the hell out of everything with 200 other people. I have one of each class at max and always use the events to gear up any I wasn't actively playing.
This time I don't expect I will. Maybe a couple but not all. It's... boring and frustrating to have missed out because you logged back in a few minute later than intended.
I don't care if you think I'm a whiner, I genuinely enjoy wow and this event just ain't it.
