~Kah, Legend of the Deep~
Complete achievement “The Derby Dash”. This achievement requires you to participate in the Mereldar Fishing Derby, and catch all available fish in Khaz algar within the time limit, so let me explain. The fishing derby is an event that happens every saturday, and starts in Hallowfall just south of the main city, and will be marked with a quest on your map. To participate you’ll need to have attained a skill of 150 in khaz algar fishing. So all you have to do, is log in on a saturday, head to the starting location and talk to Captain Oathmyt and accept his quest. This will start a 3 hour timer in terms of a buff called derby dasher, during which you’ll have to catch 1 of each available fish in khaz algar. This is relatively easy if you know how to go about it. So here's my strategy. I kinda of ignore all the fish that i knew i would eventually catch, while going for the more rare ones, this includes these fish: Bloody Perch, bismuth Bitterling, Dornish Pike, crystalline Sturgeon, Goldengill Trout, nibbling minnow, quiet river bass, Spiked Sea raven, & Cursed Ghoulfish.
So first i headed to Isle of Dorn. My primary objective here was to catch the fish unique to this zone.
First one is the specular Rainbowfish, from glimmerpools. secondly the Whispering stargazer from Stargazer Swarm
And lastly the dilly-dally Dace if you happen to come across a festering rotpool where you can also get pale huskfish. The pale huskfish can be obtained in azj kahet as well later on tho, so if you only need that, just head on.
Once I’d caught those i went straight to hallowfall. Skipping the ringing deeps as there are no unique fish to the ringing deeps & also the areas in which you fish are kinda small, and theres a lot of flying up and down in that zone. So straight to hallowfall.
In this zone i have 3 things to focus on. First was finding Blood in the water, to fish up Sanguine Dogfish, Kaheti Slum Shark & Arathor Hammerfish. Sanguine being the rare in this pool, but you can toss some Bloody perch into the water to increase your chances of getting a dogfish by 100%. You should have plenty of perch from leveling fishing in the first place.
My other focus was Roaring Anglerseeker from Anglerseeker Torrent, the pools for these seems to spawn more frequently in this area for some reason.
And the third focus was noticing if any
thing you have to do, is hit level 80, once level 80 head to Brann Bronzebeard in Dornogal at this location: 47.65 44.45
He’ll have a quest available for you that rewards you with the delver’s Dirigible.
The quest will teach you a little bit about acquiring restored coffer keys, and what the use are for them. It’s really a simple, kill something, enter a delve and complete it, use the key you got from the kill and return Brann and you’ll be awarded with the mount!
~Dauntless Imperial Lynx~
Drop: Spreading the Light
Zone: Hallowfall
Spreading the light is an event that is pretty much always up in the northern part of hallowfall
You can complete the main objective of this event once a week for a weekly cache reward. The main objective is super easy, all you have to do is kill some mobs, loot some crystals and light the fire in 3 small fireplaces to complete it. In the cache you’re rewarded, you have a chance at obtaining the Dauntless Imperial Lynx. Dropchance is probably around 5%, however unknown.
~RENOWN & REPUTATION~

~Shale Ramolith~
Requires Renown 18 with council of Dornogal & 8125 Resonance Crystals to purchase
~Smoldering Cinderbee~
Renown 23 reward with council of Dornogal & 11375 Resonance Crystals to purchase.
But Arhqirah, what are resonance crystals, how do I get them, and is 20000 a lot?
Resonance crystals are a currency that you’ll find pretty much anywhere, from
Quests, sidequests, Weekly quest caches, World Quests, Delves, treasures, rares & more. What i found to be Most profitable is Weekly Qs, delves & WQs.
As to wether 20000 is a lot, let me put it like this, I had 20000 by the time i was renown 6 with all 4 new renown tracks, so it feels like you’ll definitely have enough be the time you reach the required renown for the mounts, unless you spend them on something else along the way maybe. Anyway, lets move on to the
~Crimson Mudnose~
Renown 19 with assembly of the deeps 8125 Resonance Crystals
~Cyan Glowmite~
Renown 23 with Assembly of the deeps costs 11375 Resonance Crystals
~Vermillion Imperial Lynx~

~Shackled Shadow~
Renown 23 Reward hallowfall Arathi
11375 Renoscance crystal
~Ferocious Jawcrawler~
Renown 22 with “The severed Threads” costs 2815 KEJ -
~Aquamarine Swarmite~
Renown 23 with “The Severed Threads” Costs 3940 KEJ
So you may have noticed that for these last mounts from the severed Threads we have a whole new currency in play, the KEJ.
And i managed to find KEJ in weekly quest caches, elite WQ caches, Delves, Side quests in Azj Kahet, and treasures in Azj Kahet. And quite alot compared to how many you need for the mounts actually, so probably same reasoning as with the crystals, if you do get the renown, you’ll most likely have the currency for mounts ready at hand. You’ll also receive quite a lot KEJ as reward for just progressing the renown itself.
~Widow’s Undercrawler~
8/9 Rep progress with the Weaver
~Royal Court Undercrawler~
8/9 Rep progress with the Vizier
~Heritage Undercrawler~
8/9 Rep progress with the General
So, in Azj-kahet, in addition to the severed threads renown, you’ll have 3 sub reputations. They work kind of like the reputation tracks for sabellian & Wrathion, where you choose every week, which of the three to support. And depending on who you support, you’ll unlock bonus objectives, and small extra quests all around azj-kahet, that help you gain reputation for these factions. You do also have the option to chose from these reputations from weekly rep quest rewards and such. Anyway, the widows undercrawler is purchaseable from the severed threads quartermaster, when you’ve 8/9 your reputation with The Weaver. Royal court undercrawler, when 8/9 reputation with the Vizier, and Heritage Undercrawler, is 8/9 reputation with the General. Each rank of reputation is 2500 reputation and there’s a total of 9
find better farming spots with hyperspawns and so on. The item has about a 50% dropchance. There is also another Way to go about this if you’re also looking to farm for the Mount Alunira. Alunira is a rare spawn that requires 10 crackling shards to be able to kill. And when you’ve collected all 10 yourself, it’s a 100%dropchance. The crackling shards have a very small chance to drop from any mob in the isle of dorn. So if you want you can check out this farm spot right here,
Isle of Dorn
/way 75.57 37.41
where you’ll find about 15 nerubians that hyperspawn in decently close proximity. This spot is quite a lot slower, atleast solo, than the spots in azj-kahet, when farming for nerubian chitin, but you do have a chance at getting crackling shards as well which might make it worth it in the Long run.
Anyway Once you’ve collected all 1500 chitin, head back to the alchemist and he’ll give you yet another grind quest for 1000x Nerubian Venom. This item drops from almost all of the same mobs, except for the swarmite and beetle mobs, drop chance seems just about the same, maybe a little lower, but also around 50%. Farm spots for this item, is exactly the same as the Chitin.
Once you’ve collected the 1000 Nerubian Venom, head back to the alchemist & you’ll receive the last grindy quest of the chain, a small ocean’s worth of blood. For this, you’ll have to collect 500 Nerubian blood, and this is one by far the worst for the simple reason that they only drop from 2 types of mobs. Skyrazors, which are the same model as the Siesbarg mount, and the more human type nerubians like these. And the droprate is about 40%.
I couldn’t really find a good farming spot, the spot that seemed to be the best were the burrows. A small subsection of the City of Threads. Here you’ll find like 4 groups of humanoid nerubians. Maybe there’ll be good dropchances somewhere in raid, but unfortunately I don't know. So buckle up, cause this is gonna be a looong grind, especially with competition. Anyway i hope we find a better spot on live, If we do I’ll have it pinned with coords in the comments.
Once you’ve collected all 500 Nerubian blood, return to the alchemist for the last time, and you’ll get a single RP quest, where we experiment on poor Siesbarg and turn him into our lovely mount.
~Alunira~
This mount is very Similar to Alani from Mists of Pandaria. It is a drop from a rarespawn, called Alunira, found in this location, circling the summit of the mountain. As she is flying around she is protected by a shield. She cannot be touched until the shield has been broken.
To Break the shield, you’ll have to collect 10x Crackling Shards and combine them in a Storm Vessel, to destroy the shield and make her vulnerable to attacks.
Shards drop from any mob in the isle of dorn zone, with a very low dropchance. About 1 in 2000.
The shards CANNOT be sold on the auction, or traded. However they are warbound, so if you stumble across shards on your alts while leveling or just doing other stuff, you can combine them all on a single character.
You’re looking at around 15-25 hours of farming, depending on your luck, for all 10 Crackling shards.
I found the Island to the northeast of the Isle of Dornogal to be the best farmspot at least solo.
Anyway,
Once you kill alunira you’ll recieve her as a mount with a 100% dropchance. And only the user of the crystals will receive her as a mount, however it’s unknown if people helping have a low chance at getting the mount as well, like with the hirukon mount in zereth mortis.
~Ol’ Mole Rufus~
Next mount is Ol’ Mole Rufus, he drops from a rarespawn in the ringing deeps, called lurker of the deeps. The rarespawns location and trigger is currently unknown as of beta. Dropchance is presumably around 1-5% as is the trend for past rarespawn mount drops
And heres a quest for you, as this rarespawn hasn’t actually been found on the beta, I’ve tried everything i could possibly think of to spawn this guy. I’ve drowned, fished in weird swirlies & grinded different toys I thought might have something to do
Note for Hunters: You can now tame Grong and Fetid Devourer!

I'm gonna miss the free transmog services from Remix.
Transmogging not having a cost associated, resulted in me and my friends making all sorts of weird transmogs between dungeons etc. We had fun coming up with the most epic or silly stuff.
What do you think? Should it be free? Would you change transmogs more often if it was free?
Obviously getting everything for free would be sweet (in theory), but also unhealthy for the game. I'm not sure having free transmogs would be unhealthy.
500g+ per changing outfit runs up fast.

@r_wow
Royal Ripple pools showed up, these seem to be the rarest of the zone, in here you’ll find Queen’s Lurefish & Regal Dottyback.
If you have no luck finding a royal puddle in Hallowfall, you can just move on to Azj-kahet, as they also appear here, and this is where we’ll find the last two fish as well. First the Pale Huskfish from infused ichor spill, if you didn’t get it in isle of dorn, and that leaves just one fish. The awoken coelacanth So this fish is actually not obtainable on the beta due to a bug. But it’s supposed to be awoken by using the Whispering Stargazers Special Ability “Whispers of the deep” however the stargazer is bugged on the beta, and I’m not able to show you exactly how to do it, but it’s most like just throwing the stargazer in any of the pools in azj-kahet to have a chance at fishing up an awoken coelacanth. When it is fixed I’ll edit a quick description of how it works.
~Machine Defense Unit 1-11~
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es1NOZz-Aq0
You obtain this mount when completing the Achivement: “It’s not much. but it’s Honest Work”
So what do we have to do, the description says Defeat the awakened Phalanx in awakening the machine. Awakening the machine is a scenario that works like infinite wave style games, like vampire survivors, except there’s only 20 waves on the beta currently. So you’ll start at wave 1, and it will be very easy, and every wave the difficulty increases until you can’t handle it anymore. The objective is to keep speaker kuldas alive, while killing all the mobs that spawn. The achievement is obtained by killing a boss that will appear at wave 20. You can enter the scenario at Speaker kuldas in the main city of ringing deeps. Anyway in my honest opinion this event is just very easy to complete on the beta, and i think most people can just go get this mount on the first day of being lvl 80, but let me quickly explain the mobs in the event so you know what you’re getting into.
First mob is the Swarmbot, this cute little guy will simply walk towards kuldas slowly and attack him if left untouched. Simply tag them and kill them, they are the weakest mobs in the scenario.
Secondly we have the Corrupted Machinist. These guys channel purging flames, an infinite kamehameha at Kuldas, these guys are always number one priority. You can either interrupt, cc or kill them, fastest is to just interrupt or cc ofcourse.
Thirdly we have the malfunctioning Pylon. When this spawns you have a few seconds to step in front of it, to intercept it’s laser beam towards kuldas. These are also high priority, and i like to pop a small quick burst to get it out of the way.
THen we have the automatic Ironstrider. This is hard hitting mob that will aggro straight to you. It’s got one ability, called volatile magma, Spawning 4 orbs around you. These orbs explode after a few seconds, leaving a lavapuddle beneath you and sputing lava in the direction of the orbs. So you want to position yourself, so that the lava doesn’t hit Kuldas, and simply kill of the ironstrider. Then we have the Nullbot, this mob will channel nullification barrier on another mob, rendering them immunity, so if they use this ability on a high priority mob, simply kill this one first. And then finally the Awakened Phalanx, Doesn’t really do too much, simple swirlies and frontals mechanics. Just pop all cds here and end it fast.
~Soraing Meaderbee~
This badass bee can be bought from a vendor called Cendvin in the Isle of Dorogal at this location. To purchase it you’ll have to bring him 900x Sizzling Cinderpollen. So how do we obtain the sizzling cinderpollen? Right west from the vendor you’ll find an area called Cinderwold, and this area is packed with small & big bees, and honeyslime, the bigger creatures in the area are elites, and all you have to do is kill every single Elite being in this area, until they’ve dropped 900 Sizzing Cinderpollen to you. The elites drop about 1 each on average, and the non elites don’t drop at all in my experience. So kill 900 bees &
ranks.
~PROFESSION~
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es1NOZz-Aq0
We only have a single profession mount so far, and that is the
~Crowd Pummeler 2-30~
Profession: Khaz Algar Engineering
It is ofcourse an engineering mount. So heres how you get it.
Upon learning Khaz algar engineering, you’ll be able to come across Pile of Rusted Scrap, from various sources, like treasures, mobs and such. You can also use the ability Pilfer through parts to turn pretty much any new and old part into pile of rusted scrap. Once you have 25 piles, you can use your 24hour CD invent. This will invent a prototype, that you want to use the ability disassemble, and you’ll get around 5-10 Hastily scrawled notes. And once you have 15 hastily scrawled notes, they can be combined into comprehensibly organized Ideas. Using this item lets you chose between 3 new schematics at random, one of which could be the crowd Pumeller 2-30. It took me 26 comprehensibly organized ideas before i could learn the Pumeller schematic.
That means a loot of invents, however you can speed it up a bit, as you can also get prototypes from the ability scour through scrap. However this is not guaranteed, and you’ll have to go through way more scrap than if you just use the daily cd, however it’s a possibility.
Now that we have the schematic we need the materials, and there is two ways to get them. First one is simply buying all of them from a vendor called paxton Bombshell. He is located at opportunity point, in the ringing deeps. If you decide to buy them all from this vendor, the cost will total at 3.1million gold.
Another way to have a small chance at getting some of the parts is through pilfering for parts. You’ll have to unlock the profession trait Parts under the inventing engineering specialization tree, to be able to proc the mats for the mount.
None of the mats however are soulbound, and this means all of them can be sold and purchased on the auction house, so you might find cheaper prices for the mats here, than the vendor. Also the mount itself is actually BoE, so it can also be sold on the auction house, but i do expect it to sell for quite a lot for the first few months of the expansion. But it will ofcourse go down in price over time as more people learn to craft it, and the market is flooded with mats.

Obtained from acquiring Khaz Algar Glyph Hunter achievement.
This achievement requires you to collect all the available Skyriding glyphs in all 4 new zones. It can be fairly quickly to be honest, if you know where to look. If you want to find them for yourselves without any spoiler just skip to the next mount section on the playbar. All the Coordinates will be listed below for you to easily copy and paste into the game. I’ve even included a small description of where exactly on the coords you’ll find the glyph, as some are located very high, some are hidden and some very low, so following these should be very easy for you.

~RAID DROPS, DUNGEONS DROPS & DELVES~
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es1NOZz-Aq0
Raid Drops
~Sureki Skyrazor~
This Beast is a drop from the new raid, Nerub-ar Palace, it drops from the last boss Queen Ansurek, and it drops on any difficulty, even LFR, most likely with a 1% dropchance, if we think about prior raiddrops like this.
Drop: Queen Ansurek ( Last boss ) Any difficulty
Raid: Nerub-ar Palace. Most likely 1%
~Ascendant Skyrazor~
And then we have the mythic raid drop, the ascendant skyrazor. Also drops from Quuen Ansurek, but with a 100% dropchance for 1 drop for your raid, until the expansion is over, like with previous mythic end boss mounts.
Drop: Queen Ansurek
Last boss of Mythic Nerub-ar Palace
Dropchance: 100% on mythic for 3 drops until Expansion is over
DUNGEON DROPS
~Stonevault Mechsuit~
Quest: Repurposed, Restored
Zone: The Ringing Deeps
It’s a reward from a quest that is obtained as a drop from Void speaker Eirich, the last boss in the Stonevault dungeon on mythic. The drop is most likely around 1-3% dropchance.
~Wick~
Drop: The Darkness
Zone: Darkflame Clef (Mythic)
This badboy Drops from the last boss of the dungeon Darkflame Cleft, only on mythic. Or from the challenger’s cache of mythic+.
Dropchance is presumably around 1-3%

~Shadowed Sawrmite~
Earned from completing the “Glory of the Nerub-ar Raider” Achievement, which as always is the meta achievement for raids that require you to do something special each encounter
~Ivory Goliathus~
This spectactular mount is a reward for completing the achievement Glory of the Delver
Just like other glory achievements for dungeons and raids it’s sort of a meta achievement but for delves, with special tasks in different delves. First of all you have to fight your way through delves until reaching tier 8, which is the difficulty that pretty much all the achievements require you to be at. From here it’s rather simple, each individual Type of delves has a small challenge, it could either be, don’t let the candle go out at any time, or don’t get hit by any mechanic during this type of delve etc. there’s also 1 achievement for finding all the special treasures inside the different type of delves, and finally 1 for beating the END boss of delves, which is found in tier 13 of the delves. It’s supposed to be pretty hard, almost mage tower difficulty but not quite, according to what developers have said.
~Diamond Mechsuit~
Requiring you to get the Keystone Master Season 1 achievement. Which requires 2000 Rating in m+. Equivalent to +5ish in all dungeons both weeks
~PVP Achievement mounts~
~Vicious Skyflayer~
It is the Season 1 vicious mount for playing rated pvp above 1k rating, and filling this bar to 100% by winning.
~Forged Gladiator’s Fel Bat~
This is the Gladiator mount Season 1. Requiring 50 wins above 2400 Rating in 3’s
~Raging Cinderbee~
This beautiful flaming bee mount comes from the open world PVP meta achievement, called Ruffious’s Bid. The achievements are rather straight forward, first you must earn 1000 honor while in war mode in all of the 4 new zones, second you’ll have to complete the new PvP world quests 5 times each, and lastly you’ll have to complete the weekly PvP quest Sparks of War 5 times. So compared to earlier pvp world meta achievements, this one is going to be a fair bit faster to obtain.

~Beledar’s Spawn~
Drops from: Beledar’s Spawn
Zone: Hallowfall
Dropchance: UNKNOWN (Presumably 1-5%)
Beledar's Spawn is a mount dropped with an unknown chance, probably 1-5% tho if you look at previous rarespawns, by Beledar's Spawn, a Rare Elite located in Hallowfall which spawns during every Void/Night Phase of the zone.
It has multiple spawn points around the zone and will spawn and despawn when the Void/Night Phase starts or ends respectively.
The Void/Night Phase lasts for 30 minutes and repeats every 3 hours starting from 0:00 Server Time. Currently on Beta, the Void/Night Phases can also start randomly, those random phases last around 10 minutes. It is unknown if those are intended or are the product of a bug.

Reaching Renown 23 with the Hallowfall Arathi allows you to purchase Beledar's Attunement from Auralia Steelstrike for an unknown quantity of ~Resonance Crystals~. After using the item, the location of Beledar's Spawn will always be visible on the zone map. Currently on Beta, the item is missing from the vendor and only appear on the Renown Rewards.

This gorgeous Mount which is the only non raid Mount that has this model, is not that hard to obtain, however it requires quite the time investment. Lets get into it. First thing you’ll have to do, is kill the rareelite mob called tka'ktath In azj-kajet at this location. He’ll have a High chance of dropping an item called Vial of tka'ktath, that starts a questline, ultimately rewarding the Mount. The dropchance for the vial is unknown, but seems to quite high. Once you have the vial and the beginning quest, you’re sent to the nerubian alchemist at this location, he’ll give you a followup quest called Those are Chiting Words. This quest is where the grind and time investment begins. You’ll have to obtain 1500 nerubian chitin. They drop off of pretty much any beastlike nerubian.
At minimum you’re looking at 3 hours of intense mobfarming for this one quest only, however i did this solo, and groups Will probably speed this up a bit, and we might see people
