Has anyone else noticed that the demon hunter leap is much more forgiving than the warrior leap?
For example, when you're falling/thrown off of a platform the demon hunter leap gets you back no problem but the warrior leap almost always says "no path available" or some other line of sight error in those instances. Has anyone else noticed that or just me? If it's not just in my head, I'm curious why these more or less identical spells have been coded differently..

Confessions of the E-Girl Impostors – What Did You Actually Get for That Epic Mount?
I just laughed my ass off.
About 7 hours ago, someone posted a thread titled “I’m Hungry for E-Girls”—and then people actually started confessing they used to pretend to be e-girls just to get Epic Mounts, gold, or whatever else they could milk out of desperate players.
Pure gold.
So please, to all of you who faked the femme—what exactly did you get out of it?
Gold? Rare loot? A shoulder to cry on after a wipe?
Spill the tea. We’re listening.

Raid Renoun should unlock an ability that kills most of the trash
WoW raids all have too much trash in my opinion. Some certainly better than others, but after you've done it for several weeks the trash becomes such a boring slog.
It doesn't help that I think a lot of the Undermine trash is some of the worst we've seen. Too much of it, boring, just a giant slog.
I can get behind the sense of scale and theme the trash delivers early on, but doing it every single week...we don't need that. Would be a great thing to unlock with the raid renoun system IMO!

I don’t understand how certain races can be certain classes in regards to lore.
Can someone explain to me how lightforged draenei can be warlocks. Doesnt that go against the whole lightforged concept? Also why cant dracthyr be druids or shamans? Wouldn’t that just be like using green or black dragonflight magic? Also dont understand how races that were hidden from the world during wrath (pandaren and after) are able to be death knights. I understand in legion we find out that any death knight can raise someone as a death knight but then wouldnt every race in the game be able to be a death knight?

Yes, brave Sir Pullsalot, I didn’t cast Lay on Hands from my Arcane Mage. My bad. Next time I’ll bring a defibrillator and a time machine. Meanwhile, the DPS is moonwalking in lava like it’s a dance-off. Healers of r/wow \- stay strong. We suffer in silence. Or memes.

Let Me Solo Him - Underpin ?? for bad players, observations and tips now that I'm done.
I'm an old gamer and haven't been good at WoW for a very long time. That having been said, I still like to see if I can force my way through content.
I thought Zekvir was bad, taking me \~40 tries. The Underpin was crushing in comparison (about 290 tries between all specs I tried). Here are some things that may help if you're in the same mediocre-gamer situation I'm in.
* **Gear/Enchants/Gems/Consumables matter.** That sounds obvious, but when you see people like [this guy](lumingaming/videos" rel="nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/@lumingaming/videos) doing Underpin ?? on 15 specs, usually with gear in the 630s iLvls, you may think that it's technique only. That's not the case when you're struggling. Having enough health to tank the cronies' fire damage and having enough DPS to get through the shield with fewer cooldowns both help.
* **Your spec matters, and a lot of specs are easier to pick up for this fight than you may think.** All specs can do Underpin ??, but some are probably easier for your playstyle. For me I changed over to a mistweaver monk so I had crazy good self heals, emergency heals, mobility, and the easiest dps "rotation" I've ever experienced for a class. It also comes with a super-helpful ranged burst that's available for every shield. Other people may have found better luck with other classes. Finding one that fits you can help out.
* **Leaving cronies up perpetually hurts even more than you think.** You are likely concentrating on the big fire balls that the robots shoot across the map with the red indicator lines. Those are indeed terrifying. However, every crony you leave up also fires a steady stream of slightly damaging projectiles that will make living really hard when you leave them up. The steady stream of damage makes the Underpin's melee way more problematic over time.
* **Leaving cronies up for a little while is fine.** When you kill 3 or 4 out of the 5 cronies, you can leave the 1 or 2 others up for a wave or two, but go back to it and finish them off so to prevent the constant chip damage. I found success making sure the bot positions next to any stragglers were clear for spawns, then would run back to the stragglers to spawn the next set of cronies in a row of 6 (or 7!) instead of 5. After bombing them down, you may need to run all the way across the arena in order to find a clean spot to summon the next wave of bots, but that's fine, especially if you're a class/spec with a spammable heal so you can do something productive while waiting for the boss to get back to you.
* **Curios are very important.** Another obvious one, probably, but picking the right curios can help bad-to-mediocre players like me get through it by acting as a really big crutch. As a point of reference, in my recent kill:Bioprints did 11% of total damage in the fight, with 1.5% of total damage "wasted" by targeting cronies. Mechasaurs did 28% of total damage in the fight, with 5% of total damage "wasted" by targeting cronies.
Good luck out there. I'm legit scared at how hard the season 3 boss is going to be :-|

One Button Rotation
Just need to vent for a moment:
If you're a Mythic+ or PvP player and you're ranting about the so-called "one-button rotation," chances are you're the guy everyone else feels like they're carrying. "One button Ration" don’t make you a good player—awareness, mechanics, and teamplay do.
And if you're a chill, casual player: be happy! It mean more people are able to enjoy the game without stress. That’s a win for everyone—more people to play with, easier group building, and a healthier player base overall.
Let people enjoy the game how they want. Not everyone is trying to be a top 0.1% parsing god. Some just want to vibe and chill in Azeroth.

Does anyone actually think AoE caps are a good idea?
Ever since Shadowlands, I've seen exclusively negative sentiment directed towards AoE caps. The fact that AoE capping contributes towards the meta is bad in my opinion.
How could you ever compete with an unholy DK/boomy doing 30 mil dps on a big pull when your spec is capped at 5 targets? Even in dungeons like Mechagon and ToP, people just skip low-target pulls to chain more mobs and accommodate the specs which actually scale with target count.
I just don't see a compelling reason why all the DPS specs can't have fun in large pulls. People should not have to fotm reroll to do damage, every spec's damage should just scale up with target count.

This Danath Trollbane and Faerin Lothar lore arc is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with WoW's writing. (Spoilers for 11.1.7)
So, Danath Trollbane, the literal OG Orc, Troll, Ogre slaughtering champion of the Second War, the closest thing the Alliance has to the Doom Slayer himself, one of the ones they sent through the dark portal to go and FUCK SHIT UP, meets Faerin and suddenly becomes a peace loving mercy toting pacifist?
He literally says "The Sons of Lothar promote tolerance and mercy" as though that has always been their mission statement. It's pure revisionism.
Just like that, straight away? His entire lifetime of fighting against fel corrupted Orcs, Ogres, traitor Blood Elves, all down the drain because his hatred of his lifelong enemies is a bit problematic?
I don't mind the idea of Danath coming around and realising that he might have something in common with the Orcs in valuing honor, and realising that it wasn't necessarily their fault that they became enslaved to the Burning Legion, but the way it has been written is just outright disrespectful to his established character.
Faerin really comes out of nowhere and *educates* Danath to *be better* pretty much immediately?
This is so unbelievably lazy and un-earned, it's such a groaner, does anyone else find this to be so utterly cringeworthy that it really just puts them off? It's just so clumsy, who is writing this?
Come on, I'm not usually one of those people who gets mad at this stuff, or shouts "World of Wusscraft" but this really comes across as the plot of a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode with how saccharine it is.
I get it, maybe Danath has mellowed after years of nonstop warfare, but can we see something of the character we know, instead of having him just be another Khadgar?
