A really cool M+ story
This is for Gilbert
Hello all! I wanted to share this really awesome story my buddy Miji and i experienced while doing a +9 Windrunner Spire. We joined in LFG and the group leader was a mage named Gilbert. Gave us a heads up that this key was originally a 10, but that it was bricked. He also said he was bad (which he was not). Myself and Miji then said "Don't worry this will be timed and will turn into a 10 once again." We also had a pair duo of a resto druid and a warlock in this key. I was tanking as blood.
As the dungeon went on we were all committed to timing this +9 for Gilbert. Sop much so that even if he died I would blame Miji for his death, and he blamed be back. The druid and warlock even were razzing each other for letting Gilbert die (even if he died to a circle, it was never his fault.) And even every time he died we would just shout "NO NOT GILBERT" or "BLIZZARD CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS, GILBERT DOESN'T DEVERVE IT!!" Even if i died on a pull that i went a little to hard on as long as Gilbert was alive, vibes were high.
After the key was completed with plenty of time, he then thanked us for being really friendly, and outgoing. The last group he was in said awful things to him so this made his day a little brighter.
I hope I run into you Gilbert. If this reddit post finds its way back to you, know that I will always remember that dungeon run. Vibes were so high, and you gave me faith in the WOW community. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

Shandris and Thalyssra drive me nuts
I know, a bit late to the party, but I'm currently doing the Unite the Elves questline for the first time.
Went to Belanaar with the gang and Shandris says "let us not forget how many of my people burned when the sin'dorei failed to aid us at Teldrassil" followed up by Thalyssra shortly afterwards with "Even now, my people gather their own army to lent to the sin'dorei. We remember those who aided us in the past."
What the heck is going on here? The sin'dorai did not fail to aid at Teldrassil, they literally stood with Sylvanas when it happened and even afterwards. Yes, at some point they started to drift away and Lor'themar led the few people that rose against her, but come on. That's not a case of "failing to aid". Failing to aid would be not answering a call for help, but actively being involved on the other side of a war...
Same goes for Thalyssra. "We remember those who helped us in the past."
Sure, she really remembered the Night Elves, who saved them in Legion, as they stood with the Horde at Teldrassil and afterwards.
Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about the case being made here and that working together might be necessary (although, as of now, the Horde can be trusted even less then Xal'atath, but thats another issue entirely), but at least don't twist what happened...

So apparently there is a racial for Earthens that gives you extra XP for exploring. This combined with the addon Dystinct Earthen Skyriding will allow you to get sub 3h max level just by flying around.
There are couple tricks to make it work:
Most importantly when you approach the green dot on the minimap you need to spam W key or left mouse button (assuming the right one is pressed for turning). This will register your position and will grand the discovery.
Also I found that some points are not picked up or hard to get, then i just right-clicked on them in the addon and it will skip to next point. Because of that i was a bit short on 90 so i did 2 first crafts for XP bonus.
Also Darkmoon Fair is on, so pick up the buff.

Beefy adds are fun for everyone, 1 hp non elite shitter mobs are fun for exactly the one class that can shoot beams from their eyes. Why is every fight like this now?

So Void Elf DHs get blue eyes in 12.0.5, but DKs STILL can’t get Red/Green eyes? Make it make sense, Blizz...
Look, I’m happy for the people who main Void Elf Demon Hunters. More customization is always a good thing, and the new blue eye options in the 12.0.5 patch notes look objectively cool.
But I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. How does a brand-new race/class combo get custom eye colors decoupled from their fel-green default immediately, while Death Knights have been begging for spec-appropriate eye colors since Wrath of the Lich King?
The Technology Clearly Exists: Blizz’s old excuse was that DK eyes were baked into the character models. But they updated that during Shadowlands, and now they are just casually handing out blue eyes to Void Elf DHs. The "engine limitations" argument is dead.
Frost gets the iconic icy blue. That’s great. But why is my Blood DK, who literally manipulates the blood of their enemies, forced to stare blankly with the Frost visuals? Why is my Unholy DK glowing blue instead of a sickly, necrotic green?
I’m not saying take away the DH customizations, but it’s honestly wild that Blizz keeps ignoring one of the most highly requested, easily implementable cosmetic changes for a legacy class.
If they can give Void Elves blue Fel-eyes, they can give us Red and Green eyes.
Are there any other DK mains out there still huffing the copium that we'll get this before the expansion ends? What is holding them back from just flipping the switch on this?
TL;DR: Void Elf Demon Hunters getting custom blue eyes in 12.0.5 proves Blizzard can easily decouple class eye colors. It's past time Death Knights finally get Red (Blood) and Green (Unholy) eye options.

I made someone laugh in Trade chat
Never experienced such thing before.
I wanted to craft 2nd weapon for my DH and simply typed "LF Weapon" in Trade chat.
A player then messaged me and said they found my message extremely funny and I brought tears to their eyes. I couldn't find that so funny so I just said I'm glad they had a laugh.
1 hour later I find in my mail 50k gold and Sulfuron Hammer transmog.
I am thankful and happy. I had to process this for a while and perhaps that's what that person needed in that time - a good laugh. You never know what people are going through. Again, thank you.
