Question about Resident Evil 5 & 6 co-op?
Hi my husband is really into the resident evil games lately and he's wanting me to play with him. I know 5 & 6 are co-op and both on sale for $5 each in the Xbox store. My question is the co-op split screen or not? We each have our own Xbox and TV so just wondered if we could buy 2 copies of each and not have to split screen it?

Input lag in right stick since an update?
Hi everyone. ever since i updated my xbox my right stick has this slight but extremely annoying amount of input lag and i have no idea how to fix it. It was working absolutely fine before the update but idk what happened. ive tried updating the controller as well and nothing seems to help. can anyone suggest a fix?

OG Xbox one player here
I got an Xbox one 2015(the Christmas with the anonymous stuff). It has long stood the test of time and is still working fine. My issue is that almost every multiplayer game, except FIFA or battlefield V are now really framerate-y and struggling to run, it tends to crash on these games and I think it might be time to call the end of its life.
I know my 360 probably lasted a similar length of time, but it never regressed or slowed down till I got my next console and is still working ok to this day.
I just don't really know where to go next for another console. The series X and series S confuse me, I have an understanding that the series X is the equivalent to the PS5 but then where does that leave the S?
Sorry, this post doesn't really have too much of a point. I was just playing COD cold war tonight since probably a year after it came out and while it was bad and poorly optimised at launch(at times unplayable i.e zombies) I could still enjoy it and have fun. Now the motion blur and the sound is all messed up, the graphics seem much worse and it's no longer as responsive.
Is this a common thing with all OG Xbox ones or is mine just dying a slow death. The reason why I am asking is that even going back to play games that were fine years ago, like GTA V, Warzone and Fortnite I just can't imagine them ever being playable to the extent I did or am I just looking at the laggy past through rose-tinted glasses?

Everyone complains about streaming games on Xbox but if you have a stable connection you're good.
I play almost everything through the cloud and never have an issue I just played the whole Mass effect legendary edition and I play chivalry 2 and a bunch of battlefield games on it. I feel like all the people that hate on that tried it in the beginning and they never tried it again but I suggest try it again if you have a stable connection in the Internet cord hooked up. remember 20 years from now consoles probably won't be a thing and internet will be everywhere and everyone's homes so it won't be an issue streaming games in the world just be like Netflix or Hulu or anything else.

My YouTube is glitching

games not updating or installing
hey! so for some reason, fortnite will install to about 14% and then my mbps will drop until it shows nothing and stop installing, rocket league does the same but gets to about 25%. ONLY those two games.
I’ve tried all things to do with my xbox, hard resets, soft resets, factory resets, nothing seems to work!
I can’t do anything about the wifi as I live in a hostel so i can’t unplug the router or anything like that, can anyone offer any advice as to what to do?

An open letter to Xbox
I have owned the Xbox since it first came out. HALO Combat Evolved on the top floor (Board Room no less) of the San Francisco Pyramid building playing the game while looking at the city. I adored that game, the HALO 2 came out and surprisedly enough I made friends that I still have today. I was there for the 360, red rings and all.
The XBOX 1 was a trying time until they came out with the XBOX One X and finally with the Xbox Series X. I have bought so many things, controller's, headsets, the face plate for the 360 (Halo, of course) the camera for the 360 (thanks for the nuts).
Lastly and more importantly, I had a stroke. It was/is rough, I had to relearn how to do everything from walking to talking (which I still have issues with) to learning how to use my arm in a limited capacity.
The Xbox community and the friends I have made are life long. Please don't take that away from me.

E106 error, how common is it?
Just got it on my Xbox one s for the second time, about a year or so since the first. I remember last time the offline update via usb didn’t work and I had to do a factory reset, and now I don’t have access to a usb stick with enough storage 😭😭😭
Is that a common experience for anyone else still using their one/one s?

Hey all,
I'm looking to sell my spare xbox one x with the og controller, 3 extra series x controllers (all of which are in og packaging console and controllers), and 3 physical games cyberpunk, rdr2 and guardians of galaxy. Condition of all items are like new- used.

So quick question, I have a gamertag that I know is unused and have a buddy that was gonna take it. And I can go to my profile and “change” my gamertag to see if it is taken and I can see it won’t have numbers or the hashtag so that shows it is not taken. But my friend puts it in and it shows the gamertag with numbers and the hashtag. Why is that happening? I can have the gamertag with out the numbers but he can’t? Why is that so?

Trying to re-download Outlaw survival kit for rdr2
Hi,
I bought rdr2 a while back and the outlaw survival kit wasn't showing up in game, even though it showed as installed in the game adding menu for rdr2. So I decided to try to Uninstall and reinstall it, how ever after uninstalling it, it did not show back up when I went to the "manage games and add-ons menu" in rdr2.
Not only that, but it will not let me re-redeem the code when I try, and I cannot see it in the xbox store
Is there anyway for me to get the content back, or have I lost it forever?
