games not loading in library
this is a weird one.
i was playing nhl 24 with a buddy yesterday and my internet went down. weird, but no big deal.
i restart the xbox one, and now none of my games are loading in my library. apps load and launch just fine, but when im on the “games” or “full library” tab, it just shows the loading circle endlessly. console is connected to internet just fine.
has anyone experienced this before?

Any recommendations for F2P multiplayer games?
I recently cancelled GamePass due to cutting monthly costs (yay increasing rent prices) and I was wondering what you all think the best free to play games are so I don’t need a subscription to game online. I already play Fortnite and Halo Infinite and I’ve just started getting into Neverwinter. I also only have a regular Xbox One so I can’t play anything exclusive to Series X/S. Thanks!

Fifa 23 controls issue
Hey everyone, not sure if i'm crazy unlucky or someone else has this issue too:
when playing with friends we can't seem to change controls. every time they are modified they immediately change to classic.
doesn't matter wether players log in with their xbox acc (that has their prefered controls saved)
or we modify them before the game
or even when the game starts

i had this issue in previous fifas but somehow it work...
is anyone having the same issue?

Good shooters?
I've always played Halo, and I'm planing on getting into splitgate and titanfall 2. But I'm just curious, what are some decent shooters that you guys would recommend? I'm down for anything really, just not a big fan of the more recent AAA titles, and games that focus on microtransactions too heavily.
Also as a random side note, I've been looking into games similar to arma/hell let lose, big 50v50 games look absolutely awesome and I'd love to check them out, but keep in mind I do not have a next generation console. Anyways, thanks in advance!

Playing disc games with bad internet.
How realistic is it to play large games on discs like Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3 etc without having fast internet? Download speed here is at best 2 megabits per second. Got the disc version of Cyberpunk installed and it required a 56GB update which took almost 3 days. Turned my console on today and it somehow lost the files and requires another 56GB update.
Is this normal? There are 2 discs in the box and even after installing both it has to do this huge update. One X didn't even get Phantom Liberty or 2.0 so what's going on here?

Can I play games I bought on an account on a different Xbox on the same account?
I want to play Call of Duty multiplayer on my second Xbox but I do not own it on that Xbox, on my first Xbox I own the game. If I added the account that owns the game onto my second Xbox would I be able to download and play it without having to buy the game again?
Also how would it work playing on one account and the account still being on a second Xbox? Can I only be logged into the account on one device?

Hey everyone! A few months ago I started working on a game for a school project using the Construct 3 engine. I planned to release the game on Xbox as soon as they released WebView2 there.
The latest release of Construct 3 engine finally added support for the Xbox/UWP WebView2 export. I then exported my game, which worked perfectly on PC WebView2, but I couldn't get it running on the Series S. The game launches, but it can't get past the start screen with a black background and the "Play" ("jogar" in portuguese) button but that can't be pressed. And the background song is also playing correctly.
I then made an issue in the Construct 3 issues GitHub repo and WebView2 Feedback GH repo explaining the situation. The guy from Construct 3 support told me that it did not reproduce on his Xbox One, and that he didn't have a Series S to test. Heard from another Xbox One owner that it was working for him. I got so confused...
Then I heard from someone at another forum that the issue was reproducing on his Series S, the same thing that was happening to me. Also got confirmation that it was occuring on Series X too, the exact same thing. So it's potentially a bug specific to the Xbox Series consoles and is not present on Xbox One, but I still need more confirmation.
This is why I need more people with Xbox One to test the game. I sadly don't have one anymore, only have the Series S.
If anyone wants to test, then you just need to search for "Viajante do Espaço" (yes it's portuguese, the game is for a school project sorry) in Microsoft Store and install and launch it. If it works or not, please report.

I'm such an idiot for thinking the elite series 2 had extra buttons
Tell me I'm an idiot. Don't care. I know it.
Just spent the good ol $180 for a controller I know has a dubious reputation, all because I thought the paddles on the bottom could be used as unique buttons in game for things like hot swapping. I'd never had one before partly because of money, partly because I knew they tend to fall apart. But I finally decided having some extra buttons would be worth it. I'd get a warranty and enjoy a slight edge gaming.
Boy was I wrong. I am a stupid fool. So frustrated right now. Came here to rant and let you guys roast me.

Is there a way to get back in
A couple of days ago I wanted to play my Xbox for the 1st time in like 2 or 3 months and when I went to go turn it on it showed me I was logged out. Problem is that I lost the password cause I made the account when I was like 8 or 9 and the email that I had it with is also lost. So is there any way I can get back into the account or is it just lost forever now?
