Games keep lagging
I feel like I’ve tried everything. It says my wifi connection is good, then I go into a game and it lags, but doesn’t show the “bad connection” symbol or anything like that. By lag I don’t mean it’s slow, It sometimes runs fine, then the game will just stop for a few seconds, then go really fast until it’s normal again, and this happens constantly.
I’ve tried restarting the Xbox, restarting the router, tested wired and wireless, unplugging Xbox and router, deleting and reinstalling games, factory resetting the Xbox. Nothing has worked.
Can anyone help? Or is this just a case of my Xbox being too old and I’ll have to get a new one.

Buzzing on a elite controller
Why is there a buzzing sound in both my game chat and when in party chat.
I believe it is a controller issue as I bought a new headset and the buzzing still persists.

Thoughts on Halo Infinite

Xbox One sounds like it’s about to combust
Bought an Xbox one recently and it had a fall upon transportation, could hear something rattling inside but booted up and has worked fine for over a week now.
Just been playing on gta online for about 45 mins, finished a race then all of a sudden my Xbox started making this loud rattling/crackling sound but still running, I immediately turned it off and looked for answers but have come short apart from scaring myself reading that it could cause a home fire, switched it back on for a minute and no noise but turned it off pretty quickly just incase.
Any ideas on what it could be and if it’s still safe to use or if I should use it as an excuse to upgrade my console? Thanks

Xbox won’t boot up
Help, my Xbox One won’t boot up no matter what I do. I tried shutting it off and disconnecting the chord, restarting it, pulling the plug out of the wall, everything!
I don’t want to reset my Xbox every time this happens, what do I do?

Microsoft rewards
Has anyone else realise that Microsoft rewards on Xbox isn’t how it used to be? For example, you used to be able to get reward points for completing in game challenges and other stuff. Yet now, all I can see on the rewards page is the daily, weekly and monthly challenges which I think are pretty boring to be honest.

Hi, does anyone know of a friendly online FPS community? I have tried the Star Wars Battlefront one seems to be very exclusive with lots of cheaters and full of cliques, ultimately quite toxic as a result. I prefer to play a sci-fi/games not too based in reality. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else’s Xbox One S still working perfectly?
Had my One S for about 8 years now and I think it’s one of the best console purchases i’ve ever made, I can still play my games perfectly, everything renders well still, and this thing doesn’t make any noise! I’ve probably left this thing on for 16 hours at a time and it’s still going.

Story game recommendation
Hey. I’m looking for a recommendation of a great story game like RDR2. Like rdr in the sense that it’s really deep and leaves you deeply engrossed in it kind of. I played RDR a few years ago and it’s one of those things that I’ve thought about like once a month since I finished it.

So like,my wireless controller is acting up a bit badly.
Sorry for my English, I'm not American.
So today I woke up, went to work and when I came back I went to play on my Xbox y'know,but my controller is giving errors, it turns on but suddenly stops working while I'm using it, and yes, I changed its batteries, I didn't drop it on the floor or spill water on it, etc.

Game recommendations please
Hello, I only started gaming about a 7 months ago and in that time I’ve played Fortnite, Gears Of War 1-5, Doom and I’ve recently been playing Remnant: From the Ashes.
The Gears games 1-3 are my faves and I’ve done them all twice over now. Loved Doom as well, but couldn’t get into the second one and haven’t tried Eternal yet.
I was enjoying Remnant but there’s too much going on and it’s overwhelming my brain and the bosses are too scary and too hard to fight 😭🤣
I’ve given PubG, COD, DayZ and Apex a try and I didn’t like any of them.
So I’m looking for some games that are more like Gears 1-3 or Doom and can be played solo because I have no Xbox friends apart from my kids 🤣. So kind of linear shooting games with not too many side quests that overwhelm me! I’m not bothered if it’s first person shooter or 3rd person really and if they’re on game pass then that’s an added bonus!

Stick drift
So. My left stick is drifting pretty bad. I tried alcohol and a swab and it worked for a little bit. But it came back. And i was messing around a bit. And found out when i take the black stick out. The drift stops and i can move the inner stick however i want and it wont drift. It will lock into place if i pull down far enough but i think thats supposed to happen? Any suggestions?
