Xbox licenses
Hello there, i wanted to express my displeasure i got lastly ab xbox :)
I´m on Xbox since Day one and Never wanted to switch to PS, but the last few weeks was the most dissapointing ever..
u cant get peripherels thats good. The Elite Controller opposite of good, stick drift after 2 weeks the rubber on the handles is a magnet for sweat... and third Party controller for Xbox was always bad and overpriced bc of the xbox Licenses..
Over the last 5 weeks i ordered 5 Headsets wich all of them got sent back bc of connectivity Problems (Original Xbox Headset waaay too small, thats for children ears i dont know who thought thats a good idea!?)
Why cant Microsoft relax with theyr Licenses, there r like 1000 times more Controllers and Headsets for Playstation out there, and cheaper ...
I think i´m gonna switch to Playstation with my next console bc its so bad

Xbox one backwards compatibility refusing to connect to internet
My friend is having in issue with his Xbox ones backwards compatibility games, here’s the situation
We’ve been playing left 4 dead 2 the past couple days and one day I logged on and asked him to log on to play. He did and he said his left for dead was having him sign into his profile but after doing so it would refuse to connect and ask him to check his internet which brought him to the network settings in the xbox one tab his connection is fine and working but 360 refuses to connect. He tried deleting his profile but that just made the issue worse now when he tries to download his profile it will say checking network connection and load for 10 seconds before failing to connect. He’s tried every solution (manual ip adress)(clearing mac)(clearing 360 cache)(hard resetting erasing profile and games) (turning on and off reoccurring billing)(wiping game cache) and it still persists. I’ve loaded his account up on my Xbox and it works just fine but his seems to be bricked and it seems to be a world wide issue. If there’s anything he can do aside from the aforementioned above please comment it as he cannot play any backwards compatible game now not fable not darksouls no gta 4 etc please help if you can!

Xbox One S no longer working correctly
I have been having some major issues with my Xbox One S, and I wanted to see if anyone else was having similar issues. It seems like for the last 6 month now my console has been getting slower and having more problems . I am having constant problems with games crashing almost every time I use it multiple times. Apps say they have no internet connection when I know the console is connected just fine and then crashing or even just apps refusing to do anything at all. It also take forever to start games and apps when they do want to work correctly. I have tried multiple things to try to get the console to work correctly (clearing cache, resetting the console, etc).

What to do with broken Xbox?
My Xbox One S has served me well for like 5 years.
But recently it’s been having response and startup issues. This culminated in the inability to turn on without unplugging and replugging it, as well as the inability to install any games and updates.
In short: it’s dead.
I’ve been planning on upgrading to the Series for a while so I went ahead and bought one.
But what can do with this old one?
Are there parts inside I should salvage? Honestly probably everything works other than the hard drive.

All installs stuck at 0%
So, for the last day I have been unable to install anything at all. Games, apps, I can't even update Microsoft Store. Anything I try stays at 0.0% then gets an installation stopped error.
I've tried everything I can find. Restarting my console, power cycling, clearing alt Mac address, trying the installation to my console instead of ext., tried to reset the Microsoft store app itself but I couldn't figure out how because the guide was unclear.
It also seems every time I pause the installation or start it again, regardless of what it is. The file size changes drastically. Wtf is going on and how do I fix it?
It will also not let me cancel, or pause without issues.

"Something went wrong with your party please try again later" when joining xbox party chat game bar
Okay so Recently I updated Game bar one day and then whenever i joined a party on pc it would say everyone in the party was disconnected and then after a few minutes it would say "Something went wrong with your party please try again later"
Before this the same thing happened and I fixed it by port forwarding and i tried to do the same thing this time but it Didn't work and i have been through every possible solution on the internet I could find
I've tried repairing and restoring every application that is affiliated with Game Bar (xbox, game services...)
I even tried uninstalling all those app weather it be through the store or via powershell I also have updated windows and have all those applications up to date and nothing is working
I even reinstalled windows while keeping all my files and nothing, ive checked permissions and my time and date are set atomatically I literally have no idea how to fix this any help ?

Need suggestions for xbox one s games
Hey all,
So i just had rented out PS5 for a month, and played ghost of tsushima, what a game it was.. I really really enjoyed it.. My roommate brother gave him xbox one s as he no longer wanted it.. We bought xbox ultimate pass as soon as we received it.. I downloaded assassin’s creed Valhalla but that didn’t work for me.. I tried cricket 22, but the graphics is so bad for xbox one version, i can’t stand it… Help me please here , suggest some excellent games like ghost of tsushima for xbox one s ( comes with game pass) or bought separately… I have played sekiro back in the college days in my pc, so anything other than that which has great graphics + great story will work… thanks in advance :)

Please reconnect the controller
I went to use my Xbox one after not using it for some time. I began playing a game but kept getting the notification “please reconnect the controller” at the bottom of the screen for several seconds (and the controller would obviously be disconnected). It would then reconnect, work for a bit and then happen again. I tried a different controller and the same thing happened. I tried a soft factory reset as I saw that fixed the problem for someone else but that did not work either. Is there anything else that I can do to try and fix this?

Reset Xbox one
I want to know if I reset my Xbox if I will lose my saved games. I do not have Xbox live or game pass.
I want to play remotely on my Xbox one, but I cannot get the Xbox to connect to my iPad. I have tried most things suggested on YouTube. The one thing I have not tried is resetting my Xbox. I am worried I will lose all of my saved games if I reset my Xbox and wanted to know if I can back up my save files somehow.

Controller buttons aren’t working but the left joystick and xbox button is.
I log on today and everything was fine and all of a sudden my buttons were not working.
So far I’ve tried rebooting my xbox and controller. It won’t let me re-sync the controller either. Has anyone had this problem?

'Download to console' feature on xbox mobile app!!
Thought it was kinda useless when it's just like pre-install game before you buy. But today, I just bought a game from CEX, and unfortunately, the disc " doesn't work ". I inserted the dics, the game appeared and 'looked like' it was being installed; after one minute of 0.0%, installation stopped, tried multiple times after that but it kept saying " Check your disc ".
Kinda frustrated but I remembered that game dic now is just like an licence to play game, and if my disc is still 'recognizable', I might still use the licence. So yeah, I downloaded the game via xbox app and insert the disc after that.

Need game suggestions
My fiancé is a stay at home mom and while the kids are at school she tends to get real bored. I need some game suggestions for her to try to see if she can curb some of that boredom.
She really liked it takes two but being that she won’t have a partner to play with it cannot be a strictly multiplayer game. Sims, she says she likes but would rarely play it after the first couple days. She had spurts of Minecraft love but it doesn’t last long usually. Not a fan of fast paced shoot em up games I.e. borderlands, COD nor does she like things along the lines of Skyrim. But I’m not sure if it’s the progression rpg style she doesn’t like or if it’s just the high fantasy aspect.

Xbox One SSD Size?
Hello! I just installed a 240gb 2.5” ssd in place of the HDD (I had it lying around and HDD finally went after 10 years). I only plan to install one or two games. Will I have any issues reinstalling Xbox OS from the usb stick? I saw some people say only 500gb and 1tb SSD’s work. Thank you in advance!

Replace Xbox or modem
Hey everyone,
I have an Xbox one (1TB) from 2016. Lately, I have been having some connection issues with it. When running a speed test, I was getting around 350 mbps on my laptop on WiFi, but I was getting 25 mbps on my Xbox. I recently moved and my ISP told me to use the previous tenant’s modem/router. This may be the issue, but I’m not entirely sure, as everything else seems to run fine. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve already tried wired connection, and the results weee very similar.

Controller batteries dying fast
Why are my controller batteries dying so fast? I've gone through around 3 pairs in the last day or two, I've put new ones in less than an hour ago and it's already gone down. I've dropped it from a short distance with earphones in about 3-4 times, will that be a reason?
