Quality games for 7 year old?
I upgraded my Xbox recently to a One X and I still have my Xbox One. My wife found out that her coworker recently came on hard times and we offered the Xbox One to her to give to their 7 year old son for Christmas. I don’t have any physical games and was thinking about buying a few to throw in with the console. Any suggestions for a 7 year old? I was told he likes Pokémon and Mario.

Xbox turning on randomly when not in use
As in title, Xbox One owned by me and my brother turns on randomly, with no input and when I turn the tv on, I can see that no inputs are made at all between the time of it turning on and me turning my tv on.
Everything works fine and not worried but wanted to see what causes it

Looking for a budget pair of headphones for gaming
Hey all,
I'm looking to buy a new headset, as my current one is looking a bit worse for wear. I'm looking for a wired headset, and I usually play with friends so I would need a mic too.
I probably wouldn't spend more than \~$140 AUD (\~$90USD)
I initially thought the Razer Blackshark V2 would be good, and it's only $129AUD. Mic is detachable which is nice. I also heard that the HyperX Cloud alpha or II are good, but then I also heard they changed manufacturers and the quality took a hit as a result?
After reading some more suggestions online, the general consensus seemed to be to buy a proper headset + an inline mic boom as opposed to a "Gaming headset".
So then I came across the Sennheiser HD599, which seemed to be a good choice and also the same price as the Razer ones but an inline mic is about $30 so that's $150AUD all up.
The Sennheisers are also open back, and I haven't tried open-back headphones before so I'm not sure if they are that much better than closed back ones. My main concern is that the inline mic I buy will be sensitive enough to pick up audio from the headphones.
Also there's no volume control on the Sennheisers so how would I adjust that?

PDP Wired controller chromebook compatibility?
So I got this chromebook a while ago and I was bored and tried getting cloud play on it because I heard from a friend that you could. I have a PDP wired controller, red camo edition if it matters. I have it plugged in but every time I launch a game either on browser or on the app, it just doesn't recognize it, it says "controller not connected" and if I click play anyway the controller doesn't do anything. The thing is I went to a gamepad tester website and the controller picked it up, also the same controller works great with cloud play on my actual real laptop. I would assume its an issue with my xbox app and I was wondering if theres a fix or if its a permanent issue?

How does gamepass work
I used to pay like $9/month like five month’s ago
i came back to it being 11.9/ month but with a $1 trial but then i will be charged with the aforementioned $11.9 after the 14 days trial
I payed and i was immediately charged 11.9 dollars and it says that i will be charged 11.9 again after 14 days ?
So did game pass change to a 2 week subscription??

which Xbox is good for me
Im coming from xbox360 and i have opportunity of aquiring xbox one S 500gb with two controllers for 130euros, another option is brand new xbox series s 500gb, one controller for 220 euros. What should i go for, is there much of a difference in terms of gameplay. Also i know that on xbox one you could just hook up any external storage and the games work from there, on xbox series s you have to buy expensive expansion cards?

Is there Youtube Kids on Xbox?
Hi, I don't have an Xbox but my 10yo brother does and my mother recently came to me with his youtube watch history and he's been watching some inappropriate stuff - things like GTA V and clips from the Fugget About It show. She wants me to delete youtube from his Xbox but still wants him to watch the safe channels that he likes - like Octonauts or Snake Discovery.
I suggested youtube kids to her and she was 100% with it but I went on his Xbox to download it and it's not there.. Is it not on consoles? If so that's really weird. Is there a 3rd party download? Like an APK file I can download off google or something?

Hola from Bogotá! First trip to USA next week. I bought XB1 and a controller plus 2 games. Super excited to be joined to this community need advices and help please.
I met a friend online in forums from Chicago who is selling me his Xbox One S plus a controller when I arrive next week to Chicago for my first time trip to USA from Colombia. I have also purchased Halo Master Chief Collection and Assassins Creed Valhalla from this same person already, they are my favorite games ever. I currently have a PS2 and Xbox 360.
Does AC have a collection like Halo with multiple games in one so that I can play more games such as these? I have played AC1-2-3,Egypt and Greece at a friends house and the mobile game for Iphone 11.
Where is the best place to buy games for cheap and maybe a second controller? I dont need the official case, just the disk to play off of. I have saved room in my suitcase for more accessories and games to return with. I have tried to pre purchased games on amazon but the USA amazon will not accept my Itau or BancoColombia cards I have so I hope to use cash I have saved or I have made a Paypal account that which I can send money with for purchases.
My favorite games are race cars like Burnout games for ps2 or Need for Speed. first person shooting campaigns like Call of Duty and Halo (multiple player online games not so much since my online internet is limited) and of course Assassins Creed, I would play these all again. I also like adventure games that have open worlds to explore with one player and Star Wars. I used to have Jedi of the Old Republic and even played the Lego Star Wars games and loved them! I also played Lego Harry Potter and that was so fun. Everyone here already plays Fifa, So i am not so interested.
So in short, If anyone can help me find cheap games, recommend a place in Chicago nearby, or would want to sell me their old games for cash or paypal to take home with me this coming week I would be very happy. My friend I am visiting in Chicago said I can use their address for mailing items and will sign for them for me to pick up when I arrive. I hope I did not wait too long to send this request. I arrive in Chicago on Wednesday morning and depart on Tuesday night. Very short trip but I am also going to see Chicago Blackhawks game on Friday night and experience a USA Thanksgiving dinner with my friend on Thursday! Also Chicago pizza and i'd love to see snow but it might not be too cold enough yet, no snow in Bogotá.
Thank you very much for your time! I would not ask of all this but video games are very expensive for me here and I want to save as much money as possible for my new console while in the States.
