Is there any resource out there that covers if certain games are playable just off of a disc or not?
I realize that physical copies aren’t the main way people buy games anymore, but as someone who still likes buying them and building a collection, it got me interested to see what games out there just aren’t functional off of a disc. Whether it’s nearly every CoD game after Black Ops 4, certain games with Smart Delivery, or whatever else might result in this.
I’ve been thinking more about this since I’ve been revisiting my Xbox 360 back catalog, and it’s been nice to know that nearly every game I own can be played right off the disc as is. I have no issue with having to download the game from the disc to play, but I started thinking about how someone who might somehow not have access to the internet could go to the store, buy Halo Infinite, and discover that it doesn’t have any actual, functional game on the disc itself. I think it’s interesting from a preservation standpoint, and I’d just like to see if anyone has gone through the trouble to note this kind of stuff. There’s no incentive for me to buy a disc for a game if there isn’t anything on it, you know?

Minecraft World Corrupted After Syncing from Cloud (Xbox One Bedrock)
Since my box one s was giving a "cannot save more data for this game/app" error, I cleared the local saved games. This got rid of the error but my minecraft world is corrupted after syncing from the cloud since some parts of the world are simply missing (things I built). Is there a way to revert my world to the way it was before I cleared local saved games? This cloud bullshit is so unreliable. Thanks.

Question bout kontrolfreek performance thumbgrips
I have the performance thumbgrips from another brand and I like them but the packaging stated it doesn't damage the thumbstick but this was actually untrue, it only caused minimal scratching and indentations but it broke my heart because I only bought them because I wanted to keep a limited edition controller in good condition, so in future I'll not get that brand. I was wondering if in your experience the kontrol freek does the same thing or not? I'm asking because they're triple the cost of the brand I already use, I'm happy to pay if they don't cause damage but if they do I would like to know. To clarify I'm talking about the performance thumbgrips that elevate the stick a little bit, not the silicone ones that pop over easy peasy. I use an Xbox controller. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Ethernet cable
I recently got an Ethernet cable for my Xbox, and it was working completely fine untill I tried to play games. My Xbox is connected to the Internet and everything is fine but it says I can't connect to epic server or ea servers ect. Any help? Microsoft support has been useless

Xbox Broker after Startup
Had this problem for the past two days now. Console start screen takes longer than usual (up to 3-5 minutes) then I get a black screen with no options, even when I press home nothing happens (I occasionally get sounds indication the home menu screen but that is all).
Sometimes, after the long startup, it will ask me to sign in, but after I press my account (there is also a sluggish delay whenever I do this) it goes into an infinite signing in loading screen. The home menu does appear sometimes and I can move around it but when I press on something such as settings nothing responds.
I’ve tried a few solutions from the forums including trying a power down cycle and factory reset, but the problem still persists with the exception that the screen resolution is worse. Nothing on the forums seems to directly link to whats wrong with my machine, rather they’ll have a similar issue but can still access settings etc.
Is there anyone who has a fix for this or is the console knackered?

What’s better to play Xbox 360 games on?
Might be a redundant question but I want to start playing games like Fallout 3, New Vegas and Half-Life 2 again (I previous played them on PS3). Would it better to just buy an Xbox 360? Or should I just buy an Xbox one and buy the physical 360 games?

Unable to upload captures to the xbox network
So, I was trying to upload a screenshot from call of duty: infinite warfare and when I clicked the upload button it told me "unable to upload capture to xbox network: check your privacy and online safety settings" I checked them and my settings allow captures to upload, not a single setting blocks it, I am able to upload captures for other games, for example fortnite and minecraft, but it didn't work today, I have uploaded clips and screenshots from call of duty before so I don't know why it's not working, please help...

Recommended xbox one games for ASD young teen
My 12yr ASD son loves his xbox one. He has limited time on it daily and we treat it like a reward system. So one he's reached a reward target he might get a new game or extended time. He is also sonic the hedgehog obsessed. Recently I bought him Sonic superstars which cost me $100nzd. Problem is, he's finished the whole game in short few hours.
Can anyone recommend some games that are appropriate for his age, that would take a lot longer to complete?
