YSK: If you have a computer running Windows 10, you should right click on the Task Bar, go to Search and untick Show Search Highlights. It's a broken feature that causes crashes and lag.
Why YSK: Your computer might not be as slow as you think.
For weeks my PC has been slow as hell when browsing the internet. The task bar crashes, the screen stretches out a bit, and then the task bar reappears. Even when this isn't happening, the computer has been very slow.
Today I found the solution showed in the title.
Task Bar -> Search -> Show Search Highlights
Suddenly the machine is 10 years younger.
Show Search Highlights is a new feature that seems to have been auto enabled after a windows update sometime last year. It's probably a good idea to disable this even if you haven't noticed any problems. I don't think it's very important anyhow.

LPT: Learn how to disagree assertively and not aggressively.
Disagreements are stressful especially with those you have long term relationships with. I’m 56 and still learning how to do this however as you age and especially at work being able to disagree is going to be needed if you are going to make progress.
Understand their viewpoint if you can and say that you do understand Explain your position logically. Don’t allow that tension to cause you to become frustrated. Allow the other person to process your position in their own time. Stay on topic.
I’m writing this as I meet many adults especially at work who are unable to disagree on topics without being aggressive.

YSK: THEN is not the same word as THAN
Why YSK: because the number of people who use only then for both then and than is astounding. It is a different word and when used incorrectly does not mean what you want to say.
Copied from an old deleted post I found:
"Then" vs. "Than" and why it annoys the fuck out of me every time I see it misused on Reddit
This is very simple English grammar but somehow Reddit users get the two mixed up on a regular basis. So instead of just being a whiny asshole, I'll be an explaining asshole.
#Then
Used as an adverb to indicate places in time.
####Example: "I shagged your mum then I shagged your nan."
Remember to use then rather than-than when talking about time. See? Easy!
#Than
A comparative conjunction.
####Example: "Caring more about anonymous internet users' grammar choices than doing something actually productive shows this guy is a real winner in life."
Remember to use than rather than then when you want to compare yourself to some idiot-jerkface.
Please make the right choice and remember the differences between "then" and "than." Also, Oxford commas are the correct commas.

LPT: Make use of your phone's voice recorder
My first time posting here, so please be gentle.
Besides recording voice/sound for technical and career productivity. I'm talking more about emotional and mental well-being.
Visiting therapists or psychologists can do wonders for mental and emotional health, it can be argued, but there are times where that's not plausible or feasible. Learn to use your own phone's voice recorder. All you need is a somewhat quiet space, probably ideal before bed time. And if you can be in solitude, even better. It takes a little getting used to, but using a recordwr to speak, vent, and just talking through your life and your current predicament can really give you a different perspective of yourself. Listening back to what you had to say can be of great use to see where you were in an emotional and mental space.
I've been doing this on and off for a few years. Listening to yourself making decisions or lack there of can help you move to a place where a solution can be. Listen. To. Yourself.
Anyone out there have done this? Appreciate feedback and other tips and trick concerning this. Live strong folks!
Update: thank you to all that are commenting and liking. I've been replying as much as I can to help dive deeper in to the why. Yes this is not for everyone and this is not a one time solution. However it can very much help you clear your mind, and to listen to yourself confirm and affirm what your going through. Thanks all for the love

YSK that in the United States you don't have to wait 24 hours, 48 hours, or any length of time to file a missing person report.
Why YSK. There's a trope in popular entertainment that you can't report someone missing until 24/48 hours, or some other length of time have passed without that person being seen. This is entirely a myth. There is no time limit you have to wait before reporting someone missing.
In many situations, such as those involving kidnappings, an elderly person with dementia, or someone in psychological distress, waiting to contact police to report someone missing can be harmful.
Also, you don't have to know the reason why someone is missing, or worry about filing a false report. If you believe someone is missing and are concerned, you can contact police immediately. It's up to them to investigate and determine if your report is accurate, not you.
If you think someone is missing, in danger, or needs help, you can contact your local police first. If you suspect a child is missing, contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. 1-800-THE-LOST® (1-800-843-5678).

LPT: Good pillows are worth the money.
As we get older we start to wake up with more aches and pains.
I've worked in pain management for 10 years and I always tell my patients: Buy good pillows not the cheap Walmart ones.
If you start waking up with your hands and arms going numb and your doctor can't find out why? Or you have been in a car accident and only have whiplash with no serious spinal injuries?
Get a cervical pillow to sleep with. They are about $50USD slightly uncomfortable at first. Cervical pillows will help with migraines as well as with tight aching burning muscles. By supporting your spine properly your muscles are able to relax.
Have lower back pain?
If you sleep on your back put a pillow under your legs. (for me I put in under my thighs). This allows your spine and muscles to decompress.
Sleep on your side with lower back pain? A pillow between the knees will help with that as well if you have hip/knee pain.
